Hotel Obermaier in Munchen

Well, there was nothing wrong, but things could have been better. They are not directly accessible by public traffic, like 500m from Trudering, where you can get anywhere. Or two bus stops, and the stops are literally at the station or in front of the hotel.
Service was ok, but I did not receive my complimentary drink. I didn't complain and demand it. Also, I was there for two days, but did clean my room on next day. Probably changed towels, too.
Rooms could do with AC and/or minifridge. Lack of AC was no problem in October. I could have had couple of beers in fridge. I liked how everything was clean and quite new.
Breakfast was quite good, although I didn't find the courage to try leberkäse. But they had Obazda and you could order Weisswurst for extra fee, which I recommend, even though I did not order mine.
This was the best price/performance ratio for me for Oktoberfest.

Our family of four booked a room here after staying downtown for a few nights in Munich. Wish we’d been here the whole time! Charming place and staff, incredible breakfast and easy to travel by metro or bus!

Very nice place, away from the hustle and bustle of the main city. But every major place you need to visit is easily accessible by the Munich transit system.

We stayed in May during the exhibition, and the hotel was generally good. The room is rather simple, with a key and door lock. The breakfast is quite simple, without even egg custard. However, what I like most is that they have a tea and coffee machine that provides hot drinking water 24 hours a day. I go there to get warm water every time. Very suitable for people with Chinese stomach. Other hotels do not have such facilities. Although there is a drinking fountain, the water is only ice cold. This is the only one that provides hot drinking water, great 👍🏻

Very nice hotel, very clean rooms, excellent traditional Bavarian breakfast buffet, and free parking. The hotel is located a 20 minute train ride from Marienplatz in Munich making it very convenient if you don't want to take your car into the city. The area around the hotel is nice, a little suburb of Munich and felt quite safe. Highly recommend if you want to visit Munich.

We had an incredible stay at Hotel Obermaier in Munich! My family and I stayed in the Junior Gallery Suite, which was so spacious and beautifully designed. Our kids especially loved staying upstairs and having their own space—it made the trip extra fun for them!

The breakfast each morning was amazing, with a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious food that we all enjoyed. I especially loved that they used local ingredients. The scrambled eggs were so tasty!

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. When we had a flat tire, they kindly called our rental car company and helped us with the translation, which was such a relief.

Overall, the hospitality, comfort, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again on our next visit to Munich!
