Hotel recently renovates in a nice way. Rooms are cleaned and spacious.
The breakfast is rich and with high quality.
The hotel is extremely well connected with the city center by public transports, but also in strategically positioned if you come by car.
There is a free of charge parking place in the hotel. The only one thing I would suggest to change is to have a longer breakfast on Sunday ( at 10 am it stops and it would be lovely to have a longer time.

Cute hotel in a quiet part of Munich. About 30 min transit to downtown. Dreadful service at the front desk; the receptionist seemed annoyed with us whenever we asked for any assistance. Room itself was fairly basic. A bed, a TV and a bathroom. No fridge in room but a communal fridge in hallway. Walls were paper thin so could hear the conversations of neighbouring rooms. Breakfast was good with lots of options.

I recently stayed at hotel obermaier, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and cozy, offering a comfortable place to rest. While I knew there wouldn’t be a refrigerator in the room when I booked, I was surprised that there wasn’t even a small bottle of water or any welcoming gesture, especially given the hot weather during my stay.
The reception staff, unfortunately, seemed a bit impatient and rushed when answering my questions, which made the check-in process feel less welcoming.
The standout part of my stay was the breakfast. It was excellent—fresh, full of options, and truly delicious. The variety and quality of the food made for a great start to each day.
Overall, Hôtel Obermaier could improve on some aspects, but the comfort of the room and the quality of the breakfast were definite positives.

An excellent hotel in a pleasant and traditional environment. spacious and clean room, varied and delicious breakfast, kind and efficient staff. Highly recommended !

Rooms are in two buildings and our family ended up with a one room in each building, which made things difficult. They claim to have AC, but it doesn’t do a thing. Despite having the temp set low and the fan on high, our room temp never dropped from what it was when we arrived. Breakfast was good. Easy, if somewhat longer, trip into downtown Munich from a station 10 min walk away.

Its a very classic Hotel. Very nice for short trips. The connection to the city is very good, you can use the bus or go to the close station Trudering. I had a single room, which was small, but it is very ok short trips, as i said. The breakfast has eberything you need.

Unfortunately I can say about this Board not a single positive word. The innkeeper from the beginning was rude. We had only booked for one night, because the Oktoberfest is nine times as much, and since when a property is the same as the hours of the hotel? Almost all over the world to check out at 11 am, but instead of the mentioned state-of-the unfriendly dragon's already 9.55 am in front of the door for us to leave. As I have noted, when you go, it is very rude of guests prior to the listed time to dismiss you felt this as a strong criticism of what I see as a guest, but in a different way. And finally, you walked to the yard, to blame us for the theft of a towel, which she had overlooked, of course, and lay on the bed.
In a nutshell, unfriendly, poor hospitality, and never again.

The bread plate was not in the menu.A lot of green and a little sausage , the mixed bread basket consisted only of Baguette.
By the way, the missing sausage has been given me as a Souvenir in the Styrofoam Cup for later.

The hotel is very cozy. Friendly service. Very large double room. Comfortable beds. Delicious and very varied Breakfast. Near the hotel bus stop. 700m to subway.
