The hotel is a lot better from what we expected! We arrived couple hours earlier befofe the check-in time, intended to drop our luggages and check-in at 3pm. But the kind staff, he lets us to check-in earlier without forcing any charges🥹
The room is so different from pictures on the internet, in a good way! I think we got the renovated floor (5th) with brand new room design.
We were absolutely satisfied with this hotel, as it meets 3-star hotel expectations. Though I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for famoly trips, it is mainly suitable for couples or friends or even individuals travelling on budget.

Facilities: Very simple apartment-style hotel
Environment: If you have requirements for sleep, it is recommended not to stay by the road, it is a bit noisy overall
Hygiene: Normal without too many problems
Service: The guys at the front desk were very friendly and answered questions. They were not impatient at all. This score is for them, it is worth it.
I forgot to take photos of the hotel, but they gave me a map in Chinese! Very good. It is also very convenient to go anywhere around and drink coffee.
The wifi password is as shown in the picture.

The room was OK, but the bedding was terrible. The quilt was lumpy, and in some places there were only two layers of quilt covers. The room rate was over 1,200 RMB for booking on June 24, which was not as good as the one hundred RMB in China. Too bad!

Good location on ubahn line (Sendlinger Tor)
walk to karlsplatz (for day trip buses to neuschwanstein) & marienplatz old town.
Supermarket rewe in 3min.
Hot water kettle ,tea , coffee only available at lobby.
Small room but enough for us slimbodies.
Tv can cast from your phone (wireless connection).
Wifi is patchy, can be weak in my room #4xx

Great for just sleep and shower (shower was tight fit). No air and old pipe heat (we didn't need heat) noisy at night bc to keep comfortable window had to stay open. Service slow at first, but excellent and friendly. Appreciate the time spent there. Thanks

Very old and tired, expensive in high season, most likely I will not recommend to friends. The only plus is the location 👍🏻

We were in Munich for octoberfest and Hotel Am Sedlinger Tor was great. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was great and just what we needed. It was clean and housekeeping was available whenever we needed it. The location was perfect because you can get around to any point of Munich easily by foot. Uber was available for quick trips as well when we needed it.

A very budget hotel. Tiny room with a tiny tiny bathroom. Good shower but drainage was very slow. No space for suitcases. Walls are paper thin and could hear everything happening in the next room and out in the corridor. No fridge. No kettle. No fresh towels. Would not recommend. Only positive was the young fella that checked us in
