Average hotel. The bed was really unconfortable and I couldnt get the shades down because there was a construction that blocked the window. Friendly staff. Average breakfast although they offered gluten free bread.

We booked for 2 nights with 3 beds, so the kind staff gave us a large, comfortable room. However, it didn't have a kettle

The hotel is amazing, the 3 people bedroom is huge, the service was perfect too, and the food was a bit expensive but it was worth it. 10/10 hallo from brazil

The rooms are incredibly cold at the start, make sure to increase the heating to 3-4. The cleaning was okeyish, fitness was a good service, hotel breakfast is not included (and expensive if you wanna try).

I would highly recommend staying somewhere else. We had to leave after the first night at the hotel and I was told that because I paid with the online portal, a refund was not possible. I had to email the hotel director multiple times to get a reply and am out €200+. We stayed here for our honeymoon, and in addition to the refund issue, the rooms were pretty rough. The shower had some black substance on the outside (mold maybe) and was generally dirty. The door didn’t lock which made safety a concern, and the shower had roughly 10cm of water in it by the time I was done with a 5 minute shower. The carpets looked very old and had stains of multiple colors. The air conditioning didn’t seem to work at all - it was 30+ in our room and hard to sleep. I think the lack of air conditioning contributed to the dirt/mold in the bathroom.
The location may be convenient but you will be much happier staying at a nicer place outside of town.
All of this being said, the staff behind the desk were excellent and wished me well. They seemed willing to help but said that everything is the decision of the hotel director.

I mean, Munich is just not such a friendly place. But the Wetterstein is solid. The rooms are tiny but squeeky clean. Breakfast is good, the location is okay. I cannot help thinking that I’m back in the late eighties, early nineties every time I’m there. But then again, I was still young back then! 😊

When we checked in, we were given a room on the third floor, which, due to the roof structure, had a very low sloped ceiling. Unfortunately, we found a carpet beetle on one of the pillows. Although we found no evidence of eggs, larvae, or holes chewed in the upholstery, we decided to ask to move to a different room. The staff at the front desk was sympathetic enough, but insisted that there were absolutely zero other rooms in the hotel until we informed them that we'd like to cancel our stay and go elsewhere. Magically, a room on the first floor became free.
The rest of our stay was uneventful. The rooms are small and the bathroom floods with every shower because of how slow the drainage is, but the price was also very low. The hotel is on the same block as a subway station, and there is a grocery store a block over. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. I would not stay here again, but it is a good deal if you're willing to lower your standards.

The rooms are clean, and the bathroom is new, and slept well. The location is great if you need to be in this neighborhood, you're only a short 25 tram and S train away, from the tourist areas, and U is across the street. It's way less expensive than in the centre. Good value. There's an optional €12 breakfast that I passed on.
