My stay at the Bahia Principe hotel was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, but what truly stood out was the incredible animation team. They brought so much energy, creativity, and joy to our vacation.
A special shoutout to Junior Fox, who is an absolute star! His charisma, humor, and talent made every activity more exciting and engaging. Whether it was poolside games, evening shows, or dance lessons, he made sure everyone felt included and had the time of their lives. Junior Fox has an amazing ability to connect with both kids and adults, creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere throughout the resort.
The entire animation team deserves praise for their dedication and hard work. They made our vacation not just relaxing but also incredibly entertaining. If you're looking for a place where you can laugh, dance, and create lasting memories, Bahia Principe is the perfect choice. Can't wait to come back!

Great family vacation spot. Lots to do. Access to other sister resorts. Beaches very busy. Get your loungers early (I had seen people setting up loungers before sunrise!) food options are okay, but somewhat limited and repetitive. We stayed for New year's, fireworks in concert was great! Bring lots of $1's and $5's (USD) or tipping. On-Site photography studio for family photography options.

To start with things we liked, “anything that did not have Bahia label on it”. The beach and the sea was really great.
Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana is a complete dissatisfaction.
- Constant lack of supplies: each day we spent there something essential was not available. Beach towels, alcoholic spirits, food at the buffet, beach lounge chairs. And even the worse thing the staff simply didn’t care about those we tried speaking to them.
- Outdated facility: while the room was spacious there were moldy and rusty areas.
- Sloppy staff: They “selectively” speak English. When you compliment they respond back in basic English but when it comes to asking something or raising a concern the most we got was no response.
- Noisy housekeeping: everyday we were awaken by loud chatters of housekeeping staff. On our last day they asked us to vacate the room at 8 am.
- Dirty linens and bath towels that had stains and markings. When we asked for new towels we were told this was the best they could do.
Overall, Bahia Principe Grand Punta is a certain NO GO place!

We are family of 5, just returned from our 7 days vacation in Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana.
Check-in was a disaster, we waited more than hour and a half to be able to speak with someone. The people working at reception were chaotic and not helpful. I ended up with a wristband which didn’t work the whole stay, so I needed someone from my family to come with me if I needed to enter the room. We were lucky to be in a renovated room close to the beach and not that far from the buffet. About that- sun-beds at the beach and at the pool are something that it is missing all the time. There are not enough of them for all the people in the resort so you need to wake up really early to be able to safe one or two for later use. So that said it is a battle for those sun-beds and it is really frustrating. Bring towels as well, you might ended up with one towel for 5 people because they don’t have clean towels. Buffet- the food was fine, you can find what to eat. “Japanese restaurant “ it’s not a Japanese restaurant at all, waste of time. The food was awful… The staff in the resort are rude and not interested in serving you. When you enter the buffet you need to wait for at least 15 minutes for the waiters to bring you water or coffee and when they do that they just forget that you are there. The lady which was cleaning our room tried to get us out at 9:30 am to clean the room- like really … This resort is not a 5 star resort at all.
We are not recommending it and definitely not coming back.

Bahia Principe Grand Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is a truly fantastic destination for a holiday. The all-inclusive package is excellent, with unlimited drinks and a variety of buffet options that cater to different tastes. The fine dining restaurants also deliver a great culinary experience.
Overall, our group and families had an amazing time here. Everything about the resort exceeded expectations, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation!

We had a great time here, the food was amazing everywhere we ate especially the garden grill steakhouse (highly recommend). The hotel itself, the beach and pools were unbelievably beautiful. Also for the buffet, my man Sergio works in the Bávaro buffet and he is absolutely awesome. He was unbelievably friendly, always coming up to us and making sure everything was good and seeing anyway he could help make it better for us. The rest of the hotels service was all over the place at the bars and restaurants and I would probably rate it much lower if it wasn’t for Sergio, he’s a beast. If you are there tell him I said what’s up my guy! I hope the right people see this too, this guy needs to run the hotel.

I first want to say I booked this hotel due to me going to the one in Jamaica I had such an amazing experience. When I first arrived the guy at guest service helped us out with the location of my whole group rooms. Once I got to my room it smelled like mildew it was dead bugs all on the bed n curtains. My pregnant friend had a lizard in her room we called to get help no one came until we went to the front desk to get them. The ac wasn’t working so they changed my friend room.
The bellboy expected her stuff to be packed when they just explained to her the room was being changed. He left and came back 15 mins later to help with the bags after we asked him to wait. We saw a roach in the buffet area. I would like to say when I asked for blankets and for my tub to be fixed that was done immediately. I also feel like if you don’t speak they language don’t come here they cater to they people. They are rude and so are the guest if you speak English. Finally the club only plays Spanish music when it should be a variety of music since you are getting tourist from all over. Everyone wants to enjoy themselves self. I wish this trip worked out so much better but I feel I wasted my hard earned money and was aggravated from day one.
Update: So I still have four days left on this trip and it seems to get worst the trolly drivers are rude and left me and my family sitting in a trolly with no explanation and was not answering us when we asked was they going our way and laughed at us with another driver. They rode off with my and when she asked to be let off she was ignored and he was not going towards our room. We complained to a manager and was told they will let a supervisor know. Also they advertised the flow rider for the kids at 10am to 10:45 we got there at 10:10 on 8/24/24 the guy told me that we had to pay because it was over but the app was saying something different. This all seems to be a scam and I travel a lot so to be treated this way is shocking. Not sure if I can even stay the rest of my days here. Spoke with a supervisor was offered $50 to spend in the gift shop. We declined and was told they will speak to the staff but nothing changed unfortunately.

Tequila restaurant was a great experience. Location was great. Servers were excellent and attentive. Luis and Jirgis were very very nice and passionate about their service. I never had to look for them to ask for anything. They were always there and filled our every needs! Food was awesome and the suggestion on what to try were on point! They deserve more than 5 stars!

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! I love everything about this place!! The breathtaking beach, the spectacular grounds, the kindest staff always greet you with a smile!! The rooms are so spacious and clean and the maids are so hardworking!!!

Horrible, horrible experience. Upon check on we were immediately pushed to upgrade our room. We declined but very obnoxious. Get to our room and the room has no electricity. Took them 5 hours to figure this out. Refused to refund us for that night of our stay. Food was disgusting. We have been home for 4 days and we have been sick since the day we left. Flies and bugs on everything the buffet smells like raw sewage. This place is a cesspool. They show photos from 15 years ago - which is what the guy at the check in desk said to us. He said well this is what the room you are staying in looked like 15 years ago. Oh how nice false advertising. The ceiling fan in the room was about to fall off the ceiling. We had to anchor with a cell phone charger. On the beach and walking around the lobby you are constantly harassed to buy local junk. There is no relaxing here. Your lucky to make it out without a disease or sickness! Will never return or stay with your brand again! Employees were not helpful most were miserable and any answer was no to any issue we had. We also went to go use our one hour of time to catamaran and one day we were told its too windy, next day it was not enough wind even though there were two already out there. There was 45 minutes left in their day so they just didn't want to deal with it. Cleaning staff also were terrible. Multiple days they would take our towels and leave none or 1. There were three people in our room. Would call and ask for towels to be brought to us. Never showed up. This place is a joke!
