Barceló Bávaro Beach - Adults Only All Inclusive Hotel

Good day! We booked your hotel for 3 adult men. The system gave DBL+Extra, but the tour operator says that there will be no extra bed. We also called the reception, they said that there will be an extra bed! Could you give us an exact answer, deadlines are running out!

I am staying at this hotel for the 3rd time in August 2021, before that I was in August 2019. The good news is that the pandemic has not changed the hotel for the worse, everything is just as good here and everything works at a good level. The hotel is built in a good location, very solidly and efficiently, everything is in its place, the hotel does not age. The territory with neatly trimmed lawns and neat wide paths made of limestone, in the slabs of which you can see prehistoric mollusks, it is mesmerizing 😎👍 It is a pleasure to walk along them and the distances here are large. You can also take a ride on the little train that runs around the entire area, but I want to walk so that at least some abundant food does not affect the figure ... In general, the beach, food and spa are not bad, everything is good here for the third day, the only thing that surprised me was the lack of mango in the mango season (August) But I was pleased with the scallops in garlic sauce, very tasty 😎👍 About the beach and the sargassum seaweed is abundant here, so this is a normal situation for August, I hope they will soon scoop them out and everything will be wonderful! I recommend the hotel to both adults (there is a part of the hotel 18+) and families with children, there is even a water park with slides and children's water playgrounds. But the main thing is to take the Premium Level and the rooms will be good and meals in the best restaurants and spa without restrictions and surcharges. If you have any questions, write, I will tell you everything, I will advise the best in the Dominican Republic, I have been on holiday 5 times, 4 of them in a row, every August, except for the 2020 pandemic year (I really hope and wish us not to get sick and to visit the best resort in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana, more often) P.S. Excellent hotel. White sand. Large green area. Huge restaurant. Peacocks roam the area. The lobby bar is open until 1am (this is of course a minus), but very tasty cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. In the lobby there is a shop with souvenirs, alcohol, coffee, goodies and rum (I highly recommend the local Barcelo). In the evenings there is a good entertainment program. Many will like the absence of children (the hotel is 18+). Rooms with king size beds. In the rooms there is coffee and a mini bar with beer, soda and snacks. In general, you will not regret it. Of the minuses: the prices for the hotel are high and there is also a seaweed season. But otherwise, paradise!

An excellent hotel complex for true connoisseurs of a varied holiday. A long beach line with soft white sand, a warm ocean where you can meet fish, shrimp and even turtles, palm trees (from which coconuts are cut down in advance for the safety of guests), fiery Dominican rhythms, golf courses where you can not only play golf, but also admire the graceful leisurely strolling flamingos, delicious varied cuisine, a casino, many different restaurants, a train running every 15 minutes around the territory, children's and adult pools (there are also with lanes for more serious swims), breakfast in the room, water sports (sup, catamaran, masks for exploring the underwater world), a spa center with hot and scalding cold pools, a hammam and a relaxing massage ... In a word, see for yourself the variety of services offered to create the best atmosphere for your holiday! This particular part of the hotel (Beach) is intended for guests 18+. If you are traveling without children or your children are already adults, then this is the place for you) If you like more luxurious conditions, choose the Premium level category, and you will have access to a wider range of services already included in the price)))

Loved our time here! We were premium on the adult side and we had the best time. I highly recommend premium for the spa benefits and ability to book dinner reservations via email before coming here.
Pretty much all of the restaurants are on the other side and the better of the entertainment too, but having a more quiet beach with much less people is so nice.
The food here is great, there is something for everyone. However I do prefer the buffet on the family side.
If you don't mind a bit of a walk along the beach or a quick train ride, book adult side and you won't be sorry!
Don't listen to anyone who complains, this resort is beautiful, clean and we would totally Come back!

We highly recommend this hotel - the views were wonderful and the pricing was great. The only issues were 1. There were families and children at the beach on the adult only side 2. Our showers were cold. Ezequiel at the pool was nice to chat with. Marlennys was the absolute best bar server...she truly made our time at the pool fantastic. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We are having a great time here! The facilities are beautiful and the food is great! We really enjoy the pool and the beautiful beach so close. The staff is very accommodating and fun! Luis does a great job going around and interacting with the people staying here and creating a fun environment. We would recommend Barceló to anyone!

Just our first day here and we are already extremely impressed with the quality of the resort, room and the very friendly, gracious hospitable staff! Looking forward to our first dinner at the seafood restaurant!

I'm so happy to find on our first full day here at the beach although has a lot of seaweed washed up, was really beautiful to swim and is loaded up with all sorts of fish! I saw many varieties including pompano, barracuda and stingray and sea turtles! Breakfast and lunch at the buffet offered so many choices that were all delicious and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and warm. Looking forward to taking the train over to Barceló Bavaro Palace for dinner this evening! Never a shortage of things to do, things to see and things to eat here at the resort!

Overall this was one of the very best all-inclusive experiences that we have ever had and my parents especially have been to numerous resorts across the Caribbean so when they say this was a to notch experience, it's an endorsement you can trust. The service was consistently friendly and on point the entire week. The food was tasty at both Resorts with lots of variety. The amenities are numerous, well-maintained and immaculately clean consistently throughout the week as well. If we are coming back to the Dominican Republic anytime soon, we would highly consider coming back to the exact same resort because we had such a great time! An easy 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely loved this place. Stayed in the pool rooms on the adult side and enjoyed the more laid back feel as compared to the Palace side. When we felt like playing, we walked down the walkway to the Palace. The beach is gorgeous. The food is decent. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The resort does a great job of maintaining the landscaping and public spaces. Drinks were great. One thing I would recommend is to make sure you are Premium.

I was in the Dominican Republic for the first time in September 2019. We had a premium package. Everything cost about 210-220 thousand for two from Moscow. I am not spoiled by foreign trips, but the rest should be comfortable. I am happy that one of my first trips abroad happened to this place. We lived for 2 weeks, first line, 1 minute to the ocean, 1 floor sand, palm trees, peacocks walking under the windows, pterodactyls overhead) lobby bar with goodies at any time except at night, pleasant staff, drinks at the bar non-stop, wonderful swimming pools on the territory with a jacuzzi and Charcot. Ice machine in the lobby near the room, daily change of towels, just an unrealistically huge bed that stole my heart. Leave a tip for the maid a couple of bucks and she will definitely replenish the beer you drink in the mini bar and fresh tasty juice, no matter how much you drink. in the evenings there are entertainment programs, karaoke, there is billiards, table tennis. I don't like children nearby on vacation, and this was a super comfortable vacation without children's squeals and screams. Just what you need, you want to come back. p.s. we lived 5 minutes from the end of the hotel border, there was a market nearby, we smoked coffee, cigarillos, rum, mama juana, rings and bracelets and something else;) I liked everything very much.
