The hotel is excellent, with newly renovated and very clean rooms. The food is also delicious and offers a good variety. My only complaint was the constant harassment from vendors inside the hotel. Despite paying for the all-inclusive package, there are shops and timeshare sellers within the hotel that are a real nuisance. It feels like being constantly harassed, which doesn’t allow you to relax and unwind, as you have to be on guard all the time. This turns the experience into one of walking through a market. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest, this may not be the best option.

We have stayed at several resorts on Punta Cana. This resort doesn’t understand customer service. We had a great bar staff Rayner and his crew were fabulous but everyone else showed no concern for anything. We stayed in the Chairman suites and had to beg for tv service, cleaning, drinks and mini bar service. Couldn’t get restaurant reservations without butler as app didn’t work. Room service canceled order several times and it was always cold. Had a domestic violence incident with neighbors and couldn’t get security had to get help ourselves as woman was being beaten. Daughter of owner is here today and it is the first day we have seen any security guess she matters but their guests do not. Would not recommend feel this resort is hurting for money. They say wine one price then charged higher price and said we didn’t understand. It is in writing. Was actually told by our butler and manager when I was refused by cleaning for more shampoo that they would have to speak with my husband couldn’t speak to a woman.

Just a few important notes if you book:
1) This is not the resort for high quality beach access. If you’re looking for a resort with the best beach you want to look at resorts in the main Bavaro Beach section of the coast. Royalton is closer by Arena Gorda beach, which is a much narrower stretch of beach, and Royalton’s shore specifically has a rough ledge taking up most of the shore space.
2) Do not order room service - see picture. Friend ordered the chicken patty burger with fried onion rings and instead got a cut up chicken finger with raw onions. The order also took almost 2 hours instead of the promised 45 minutes.
3) Buffet food is better than most restaurants’ food, especially better than the steakhouse and very basic Hibachi, but be careful with what you choose! Much of the food is sitting out all day and in some cases reused for multiple days. We didn’t get sick like some others, and we tried our best to avoid deli meats, cooked meats, and sushi that were sitting out all day.

The rooms are new and very clean, main pools surprisingly nice and clean, and the drinks here are spot on - high quality especially for being all-included. Most of the staff are lovely and inviting.

Not a single complaint, excellent Service and resort bar none.

Several all inclusive Premium Restaurants and Bars, Pools, Activities and a personal butler assigned to all your needs. Daniel, our butler was very professional, Friendly and would meet us every morning of our stay to ensure all was well. The bar tenders know us by now..

I recently stayed at this resort with my family and we had a wonderful experience overall.
The highlight was definitely the great beach—pristine sand and clear waters made for a perfect setting.
Josmy, Elvis and Carol provided great customer service whenever we needed anything. The resort is incredibly family-friendly with plenty of activities and amenities for all ages. However, the food options were a bit of a letdown. While the service was attentive and friendly, the dining experiences didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of variety and quality. Despite this, the beautiful location and welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable stay. I’d recommend this resort for its fantastic beach and family-friendly environment.

This resort is amazing! All inclusive here really means all inclusive, you don't have to worry about anything unless you want extras but that's totally optional. The rooms were clean and the AC nice and cold. Our room was cleaned daily as well which is always nice. The beach area is amazing, literally within a 2 minute walk you could leave your room and go into the beach area. And boy was the water beautiful, it was a picture perfect turquoise color :D. True paradise here. The employees were the best as well, try to brush up on some Spanish and you'd do fine, although English speakers were plentiful it's always fun talking to them in Spanish. Love it here!

Checking in now. I’ve been standing waiting for my room for over an hour. It is now 3:30 and they told me my room would be ready at 3 and then 3:15. 10 people behind me in line are already in their rooms. My kids need to sleep, they’ve been up for over 24 hours. Unacceptable. I would be charged to check out this late. I will update this review, but right now… not off to a good start. UPDATE… well we just went to a terrible dinner at “under the sea” - we got no bread. The order was messed up three times and I got served regular coke instead of Diet Coke and I’m a diabetic. For dinner, I did not close my safe because housekeeping was already in my room today so no one should be in my room. When we got back, the do not disturb sign was on my door but I did not put it there... and a floor maid came by and told me that the safe was locked by security because it was left open. I don’t know why they were in my room in the first place. I called the front desk to come open my safe because my passcode did not work. After one hour, at midnight, no one showed up. I had to call and tell them to come tomorrow because my kids have to go to sleep. So I’m not sure right now if my passports are secure. UPDATE 2: passports are in the safe I still don’t know what housekeeping is doing in my room for a second time. On our fifth night the toilet clogged for the second time at 10 PM. I called down and they said they would send someone up to fix it. by 11:30. Nobody had shown up and My kids were ready to go to bed with no working toilet. I went to the front desk and they would not give me a plunger… they said someone had to come to fix it. I’ve been waiting 20 minutes for someone to come. They didn’t even know at the front desk that I had called earlier nor did they apologize.

This place is okay. Service was okay but we became friendly with a few of the staff while here. Staff wont speak English well so there is aways a language barrier.. Now the rooms are very small. Very small bathroom. .Coffee machine was not working. One night our sliding door came off the hinges and we have to make multiple phone calls for someone to come and fix it. Buffet food was ok… Not great food. The drinks are watered down. Overall we would never stay here again. Don’t waste your money I promise the pictures tell a false story. The front lobby appearance is like a 2 star motel. Once a year me and my family go to different resorts in different countries. Compare to that experience I cant give more than two stars.

We went for my sister's wedding and our first international trip. Staff at all areas were very friendly. Our housekeeper Eugenia was the best! We tipped her well daily. The food was decent. The beach was awesome. We loved the adult pool area being secluded with its own bar and hammocks. The wedding was beautiful and the staff involved were professional. I do wish they planned for an alternate for the reception since it rained. They had a few entertaining times, but i think more would be good. The casino was hidden and the sports bar. If we have any suggestions, it would be to get more towels and washcloths, get rid of sheets that aren't white, and continue to renovate. Oh, and there aren't any elevators, so make sure you request a room on the first floor if needed.

The resort itself was amazing and so clean. The food was average but still yummy and what you would expect at any resort you would to go in any country. The Italian restaurant was not the greatest but the hibachi was amazing. The lazy pool was where we spent most of our time and it was amazing to just relax and the swim up bar was a great addition. Our drinks were always so strong and it tasted great. We did do some excursions and we booked them with two different groups. One was with Costco and that was worth it. They took us to a cave and we got a chance to drive dune buggies and they also provided alcohol and dinner. The second one was booked through the resort and I was not a fan of it. It was the snorkeling excursion and it felt so rushed. I would not recommend it. We did have some issues with the housekeeping. Our fridge was not restocked daily and we had to keep reminding them, which was a hassle. My sunglasses were also stolen by the cleaner but thankfully it wasn’t something valuable. The beach area was also clean and spacious. I would definitely go back to this resort.
