Grand Nile Tower

I am currently staying at the hotel and i was shocked with the cleanliness of the rooms, as the bed sheets and the pillow cases had hair on it as the photo shows!
And the bathroom floor was also not cleaned and had hair on it! Obviously the room wasn’t cleaned prior! So un recommended

I just finished my two night stay at this hotel; let's start with the positives; the best thing about this hotel is definitely its location; it overlooks the Nile River directly and without barriers and has a magical view of the Cairo Tower and the surrounding towers; also the breakfast was varied and the quality of the food was excellent; there is a revolving restaurant on the 40th floor with a fantastic panoramic view of all of Cairo; but I would not like to repeat the experience of staying there because of the treatment of some of the employees there; it happened in some places in the hotel that someone came to us and asked us to leave; and one of the employees asked us while we were sitting in the restaurant to leave and the breakfast time had not ended yet. We were also walking around and watching the view from the tower on one of the upper floors when an employee came and asked us to leave with the utmost disrespect and politeness; it was a very bad experience with some of the employees there and I will not repeat it again; The room was really clean but the furniture is very old and worn out but the good news is that I saw them changing the external logo on the building from the outside to the Hilton Hotel logo; and if that happens I think it will be good as they will definitely make a comprehensive change on all levels and I hope that these changes include teaching the employees how to really work in the hospitality field.

The entire hotel consists of smoking rooms. The travel agency informed me that there were non-smoking rooms available, but the room I was assigned to had a strong smell of tobacco. Upon checking with the hotel, I found out that there are no non-smoking rooms; instead, there are just separate non-smoking and smoking floors. Beware if you want to avoid smoking!

Not best in Cairo. The service is so bad. We waited so long to check in to our rooms. The rooms are modest. The cleanliness level is minimal. Food is not superb. Not recommended.

Hotel foyer very nice, rooms are dated , cigarette ends on the balcony, rooms not cleaned in the 3 days I’ve been here , left my room at 8am arrived to clean the room at 4.45pm which was too late, the service in the breakfast room is terrible, after asking for coffee 5 times and being ignored by the staff, also reported to reception that the lamps and fridge was not working this was also ignored and not dealt with until I reported it again, on a good note the concierge were excellent.
