I stayed here with 2 of coworkers, we got extra bed, staffs are friendly, food is excellent. location is not too strategic however, we have a car so it convenient. It is kind of an old building but it's clean and we enjoyed our 5 night stay there.

The hotel should make changes to there advertisements, not all rooms have a view of the Nile river. We were placed in a room facing the huge aircons. The room were also not cleaned daily or sometimes very late in the afternoon.

This was hands down the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Egypt. It was clean and had everything you’d want in a room and more. Huge bathroom too. Great staff. It was on a busy street but not loud.

I had a good experience staying at this hotel. Wassim at the front desk was truly awesome and professional. He upgraded me to a tower room, which was very nice. However, the shower had an issue with water pressure. The breakfast was perfect, offering great options. This hotel is an excellent choice for people with commitments nearby, and I highly recommend it. Thank you!

Great location, grand hotel, upon entering there are lots of security checks, no one can enter without going through scanner, this is fairly large hotel with a pool and swim up bar, there is a restaurant with live entertainment, and cafe on the main floor. Banquet halls as well.
Our room was basic but clean, the bathroom was clean and had a unique style. The staff was friendly.. we left our luggage there after check out. The check in and out process was quick.
The only complaint was that the bed was a tad bit hard.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful, egg station, plenty of fruits and other options.
Overall, pleased.

Good value for its price, suitable if you need to be nearby east Cairo. Rooms are clean but needs to be renovated. Staff are friendly and servicing tasty dinner and good breakfast.

Hotel was nice but the AC in room 440 literally blows hot air. And for some reason they decided to start doing work in the hotel at 2am, the on and off hammering noise was clearly coming from within the hotel because I couldn't hear it in the hall, but it kept us up for hours, I finally called the front desk and they clearly couldn't stop whatever work was going on because it continued for 3 hours more until 6am and I had to be up at 630am. Lastly we had submitted the card that was in our room to receive breakfast room service, we got a call at 10pm right after I fell asleep but before the hammering started letting us know we couldn't get room service and we had to come down, which was fine, but why leave the ordering card in the room, why did the front desk accept my order if there is no breakfast room service, and why call at 10pm and wake us up? We got a terrible night sleep between the hammering/knocking noise for 4 hours, the middle of the night wake up calls to inform us our breakfast was cancelled and the broken AC blowing HOT air. Terrible night sleep.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta Hotel in Egypt, and it was an exceptional experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, offering great comfort. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of tasty options. The staff went above and beyond, especially Heba, who was incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The warm hospitality and high standards truly made it a memorable visit. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. Will definitely return in the future!

We've been coming here for years, not as hotel guests, but to use the pool. This is a very good hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good. There's also an excellent patisserie.
Unfortunately, standards at the pool have slipped since Mr Nader left. There are 'No diving' signs all around the pool, however, adults and children are constantly diving into the pool, which makes it difficult to enjoy a relaxing swim. Moreover, when you ask the 'lifeguard' to enforce the rules, he just ignores you and was diving himself today!
It's a real pity, because this was our favourite hotel pool, but I would find it difficult to recommend to anyone now.

I can not recommended this hotel enough. We travelled to Egypt for our wedding and brought 40 Irish with us. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the experience is top glass the deluxe rooms are so clean bathrooms are spotless and room is cleaned daily. Mr Mohamed oraby and mr Amir Nabeel are so friendly and professional and they are extremely personal to each guest. The facilities in this hotel is amazing you don’t ever have to leave it if you chose not to. The pastries shop and Italian restaurant is excellent quality food.. the bazar shop is reasonably priced. there is pubs nightclubs and restaurants galore.. and even a bank to exchange your currency on sight.. the pool is absolutely stunning and they serve food and drink to guests . I have made amazing memories here in sonesta and beautiful friends. they have made my wedding trip so special for me ,and I can’t thank them enough. if you are coming to Cairo this hotel is the one to stay at ,as I’ve stayed in lots of hotels in Cairo and none of them beat sonesta
