We stayed at the Steigenberger Golf Resort in El Gouna for 9 nights (10 days) with my wife and our little boy, Leo — and it was truly an unforgettable family vacation! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect

A special mention to the restaurant team: Ahmed Anas, Ahmed Fawzy, Ibrahim (“Miam Miam”), Abanoub, the manager Mohamed, and of course the talented chefs. They made us feel at home every single day

Also, huge thanks to the lifeguards: Mossad, who played football with Leo; Tarek, who built pyramids in the sand with him; and Mohamed, all of them always there when we needed help

Our room was spacious, beautifully clean, with a super comfortable king-size bed, a small terrace, and an incredible view over the lagoon. Every morning felt peaceful and relaxing

We got there quite late at night, but the staff still welcomed us with a smile and offered us dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was a lovely surprise after a long journey

The staff at the hotel were simply outstanding — always smiling, friendly, and genuinely caring, especially with little Leo

The soundproofing and heat insulation of the room are very good, each area has an independent swimming pool, turn off the air conditioner before going to bed and it's very cool all night, the only downside is that the air conditioner is very noisy, there are some mosquitoes in the room but there is no mosquito repellent

All this combined with the great weather results in a great vacation experience. And so much pool with so much fun activities and parties

It was greatly stay, clean rooms in the new building, there are more than one pool, food was nice all staff were cooperative.

In February, there were a lot of Russian tourists, most of them were families, especially children. It is not recommended for couples to come, it is suitable for families with children

The restaurant is also excellent, except that the restaurant we reserved was very bad. The buffet is very good with a lot of variety. I want to praise the staff of this hotel

They are all very enthusiastic, full of emotional value, and the experience is full. Moreover, this price is very cost-effective

Lovely clean hotel, the waiters and lifeguards can’t do enough for you. The animation team are really pleasant and happy with plenty of activities to do. Food is lovely with plenty of choices.

Animation team are amazing especially Marco! All the staff are very friendly! Family pool and water slides for all ages and also an adult pool for over 16’s if you come without children

Good Location. Clean and Comfortable. Lying on the sun-bathing chair at night to see the stars there is really cozy. Need to be aware that the shower facilities is just soso, the water pressure is not strong enough

Beautiful rooms, lovely pool and area right next to Nile. Good service. HOWEVER the room I was in had a clogged sink and my shower did not work. The knobs fell off. Was only there one night so I didn't raise a fuss

Nice hotel with quaint rooms and the service was friendly. We had dinner here and the food was okay, but it was nice to sit by the pool and have a few drinks.

the four pools are great, we personally used two as the ones on the roof were a bit too warm as the sun is obviously more present! the hotel is located in a great area, there’s plenty of shops and restaurants around if you fancy a walk about which we did a few nights

The swimming pool team is excellent, and the reception staff were helpful. However, we had to wait for about an hour and a half to check into our rooms, and once we did, no towels were provided

the room was large and spacious, cleaned everyday and a different animal made of towels! food is lovely, big variety and chefs are present during meal times which i think is a lovely touch

In addition to the water park which is a paradise for children, there are three swimming pools in the main building of the hotel, two of which are on the roof

A big plus deserves service mainly waiters, especially Ahmed Samir and manager Ahmed bad Alfatahe who greeted us every day with a smile always helpful, really full professionalism please appreciate it because it really rarely happens

Personally, I didn't notice them imposing when we were relaxing and on the contrary I had to hook them myself as I had a red ribbon. Unfortunately a bit boring and repetitive menu

The wine I had the impression was diluted with water served only with meals in the restaurant, so we spent a little extra as we bought some and a bottle of wine is $24-35

The rooms are spacious, and the view of the pool is wonderful, apart from the life guard who are there all the time and are always watching people, especially children. The stuff is very classy and easy to deal with

One small point only , i didn’t like the way of service i had yesterday from the lady in the lobby’s coffee shop, her name is Sara , she was not hospitable at all with bad attitude comparing to the other ladies who were so polite , like Jihan a very sweet lady

We had an event today at the palm ballroom, the view was amazing, green areas all around, spacious and super clean. Also the service was amazing (Mohamed El Gazzar) was so helpful and attentive to all our needs

I have stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Honestly it was outstanding especially after visiting downtown 5stars hotels. Dusit is your choice if you’re looking for luxury, relaxing and away from the crowds

this hotel has a swimming pool and a gym and after a day and Cairo you need to kind of decompress in a pool. I would stay here again this is my go-to hotel in Cairo. I paid $125 a night including taxes with breakfast

I like the staff the rooms are good but some of the views are just terrible. If you can get a view of the Egyptian museum or the pool. The views can some time kind of depress me

I stayed at this hotel five times. Family for the location the fact that it has a swimming pool. Food here for breakfast was not too good because it upset my stomach

The hotel is located on the edge of the city, not far from the city of Hurghada. The facilities are a bit old, the environment is OK, the all-inclusive meals are not very good, and the soft drinks are diluted with water

He has trained his assistant zied who now does his own show too. Saied is a brilliant dj who loves music. I saw him at another resort and he was so amazing I came to see his show at la playa

There were plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, offering a wide variety of food options. These facilities were spaced out well, so you didn’t have to walk far to find a counter to order a drink

We didn’t participate much in the daily activities and spent most of our days near the beach snorkeling. The reef is healthy and very well maintained, which pleasantly surprised us

There’s a lifeguard on duty from morning to sunset, which added a great sense of comfort. Food variety and quality was great, we've never were hungry or unsatisfied with our meals

Juice from the automat machine. Good coffee, Mayada from the coffee corner is a wonderful person. The beach is ok, but you have to fight for sunbeds

The hotel is placed on Sheraton street, with lots of restaurants and shops arround. It has very beautiful gardens, pools and a small aquapark

The staff should not permitted to reserve with towels and never go to use them

Every day cleaning, the guy Ishan was very hard working and kind. The food in not so good, same every day, not very tasty but you have what to eat, you are not starving. Alcohol drinks ordinarry, the beer is ok

And last but not least, our main reason for coming back: the food! Loads of options for restaurants, and so much choice of hot and cold dishes in the main restaurant, which changes three times every day and with every meal time

Location is fantastic, it is on a wide stretch of beach with plenty of comfortable sun loungers, loads of gorgeous fish in the water to paddle with, and regular boat trips to a nearby reef for snorkelling with tropical fish

The staff were excellent, really friendly and always helping when required. The cleaning staff were also excellent. Karim who cleaned our room during our stay was really friendly and always provided excellent service

The food is personally one of my favourite things I look forward to when coming back here, and most importantly, it is wonderful to see that the chefs and staff also eat and enjoy the same food as the guests

The hotel itself is lovely and has everything you need from a holiday resort. The beach is superb for Sharm as you can access the water directly from the beach and the water is generally calm and very warm

The staff can not do enough for you and will cater to you every need. The entertainment staff are engaging and full of life but not pushy. If you are up for a laugh then join in with their fun

Finally the beach/sea - I have never experienced such a beautiful and healthy reef abundant with so much wildlife just a few steps away from the shoreline - we saw so many beautiful fish, could have stayed snorkelling in the sea all day long! I will definitely return!

Not normally the sort of place or holiday I choose. Layout of the resort very good. Beach was beautiful and in a small bay nicely secluded from some of the wind. The orangery and alfresco restaurants were very good

I was disappointed with the seagull restaurant. Food was very average which surprised me as setting was beautiful. Rooms very if the highest standard and beds where comfortable

Arrived home last week and we’re still not over our time back at the hotel. Everything was exceptional, from location, activities, food, service, to hotel itself and amazing staff working there

I thought the spa prices were very expensive and did not seem like they had many clients. I would have liked a massage but not at 80 to 100 euros

However, the customer service and communication weren’t the best. At check-in, the receptionist told us that breakfast was not included, which was not true — I had specifically booked the option with breakfast on Booking

Breakfast was top grade, with an adequate professional team to our disposal. Concierge very knowledgeable and helpful

I booked a superior room with sea view for three nights, and was given a room in the corner of the second floor. The view from the balcony was blocked, and I could hardly see the sea
