The hotel offers a modern, clean, and well-maintained environment with a pleasant and professional atmosphere. Staff were consistently friendly and attentive, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable stay. Meals were of high quality, with fresh ingredients and a good variety of options.
The golf course is in excellent condition and suitable for players of all levels. A particularly memorable addition to the stay was the well-organized snorkeling excursion with dolphins, which was conducted safely and professionally. Overall, highly recommended.

Excellent! We really enjoyed our stay at Steigenberger. Beautiful landscaping, great food, and spacious rooms. Service is impeccable as well. Nermeen at the front desk was very helpful during our stay. Hotel is also very clean. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at recently.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable. Be advised that the exceptional, abundant, and high-quality food options may contribute to weight gain. I plan to return for my next vacation; this resort has set a new standard of excellence that I am unwilling to compromise.

Disappointing experience at Steigenberger. The service leaves much to be desired and that’s the key issue. The hotel itself is a nice space and it’s been recently renovated, but you are often hassled by spa/boat trip staff and the atmosphere does not feel five star! The gym was filthy when we went and the TVs in the rooms didn’t work despite numerous calls to reception… would recommend looking elsewhere for a relaxing stay!

The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the rooms are new. However, the service does not match the price. The staff does not seem well-trained for a 5-star hotel, especially the team by the pool, except for Khalil and Bassam, who were very kind and helpful. The rest need training in customer service. On the positive side, the dining experience was one of the best among hotels in Egypt. Despite this, I recommend this place if you need a comfortable and quiet stay.

I recently stayed at the Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna, and I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. What was supposed to be a pleasant stay turned into an unsettling ordeal due to the staff's inexplicably rude behavior and discriminatory treatment.
From the start, my group and I were subjected to incessant questioning about our origins and required to provide our room numbers every time we entered the restaurant. This relentless scrutiny felt invasive and unjustified. The staff’s manner was often abrupt, lacking the basic courtesy expected at an establishment of this reputation.
The most distressing incident occurred when a member of the staff made an offensive remark in Arabic: “هوما الجماعة دول جات ثاني على الصبح.” The translation implies an unwelcoming and disrespectful sentiment, conveying that our presence was unwelcome. Such language is completely unacceptable and indicates a troubling attitude towards certain guests.
I urge Steigenberger to address these serious issues within their team and provide immediate training to ensure all guests are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background. No guest should ever experience such discomfort and humiliation during their stay.
To be fair, we did raise these issues with the restaurant managers, who were very kind and sincerely apologized for the behavior. They even offered to make it up to us with a complimentary dinner as a gesture of goodwill. While their response was appreciated, it does not excuse the unacceptable conduct we experienced from other staff members.

The hotel facility is excellent. Btand new rooms. However, the service you get is not worth the price. The staff doesn't seem to be trained for a 5-star hotel. Checkout experience was not up to the standard. They were very kind and helpful, though, but may be more organization is needed. The food experience was one of the best among hotels in Egypt. I would, however, recommend the place if you need a relaxing and chill stay.

The location and the architecture of the hotel are definitely deserving of the 5 stars but almost everything else is lacking. Check in was extremely slow, we arrived 40 min before our communicated time (5pm) and were told that it was slow because we were early… check out was equally a mess, there was not enough staff at the reception and it took us over half an hour to check out. We had forgotten something in the fridge and asked to quickly go back to the room and get it but were assured house cleaning staff would bring it, it never arrived in the 30 min we waited. When we complained the lady looked at us annoyed rather than apologising. The cleaning staff were extremely kind and so were the pool and the spa staff. The restaurant staff were nice but a bit slow and disorganised. Food quality was really varied, but breakfast was very nice. The pool bar staff were extremely rude, running to us screaming with the bill as soon as we stand up as if we are going to escape without paying. But the worst was truly the reception staff, they did not have any information on the spa treatments or golf services, not even a brochure. We were a group of friends and one of our bills included a buffet dinner we did not have. There were 10 people certifying that one person had not joined the buffet, there was also a in-room order for that person on that night. We are talking about a 20 min discussion with the reception about 25 Euros, when you pay over 200Euro a night a person this makes no sense. We gave up and just paid for it but it left a sour note at the end of our trip.
Overall I can’t say I would recommend it, sure it is a beautiful place, but the five star price is not justified in the services and care they give you.

We just left the hotel and wanted to share what a wonderful experience we had. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was inviting, and our room was both comfortable, beautifully maintained and clean.
A special mention goes to Abdel Salam from the restaurant, who made our dining experience especially delightful. The staff at both the restaurant and the pool were consistently kind, always smiling, and even cracking jokes with the guests, which added to the overall pleasant vibe. They were incredibly helpful and always on top of their work.
Our only suggestion would be to add towel hooks in the bathrooms, perhaps behind the door, for added functionality.
