Beach: sandy beach lagoon, a private beach and adjacent to a public beach Zaytuna 3 km from the hotel, next to corals, there is a sandy entrance to the sea. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, beach towels – free of charge. There is a Shuttle service to the beach by boat. The length of Laguna beach is 120 m, the length of the beach at Zaytuna 100 m.

From the start, my group and I were subjected to incessant questioning about our origins and required to provide our room numbers every time we entered the restaurant. This relentless scrutiny felt invasive and unjustified. The staff’s manner was often abrupt, lacking the basic courtesy expected at an establishment of this reputation.
The most distressing incident occurred when a member of the staff made an offensive remark in Arabic: “هوما الجماعة دول جات ثاني على الصبح.” The translation implies an unwelcoming and disrespectful sentiment, conveying that our presence was unwelcome. Such language is completely unacceptable and indicates a troubling attitude towards certain guests.
I urge Steigenberger to address these serious issues within their team and provide immediate training to ensure all guests are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background. No guest should ever experience such discomfort and humiliation during their stay.
To be fair, we did raise these issues with the restaurant managers, who were very kind and sincerely apologized for the behavior. They even offered to make it up to us with a complimentary dinner as a gesture of goodwill. While their response was appreciated, it does not excuse the unacceptable conduct we experienced from other staff members.
Overall I can’t say I would recommend it, sure it is a beautiful place, but the five star price is not justified in the services and care they give you.
A special mention goes to Abdel Salam from the restaurant, who made our dining experience especially delightful. The staff at both the restaurant and the pool were consistently kind, always smiling, and even cracking jokes with the guests, which added to the overall pleasant vibe. They were incredibly helpful and always on top of their work.
Our only suggestion would be to add towel hooks in the bathrooms, perhaps behind the door, for added functionality.
The architecture is beautiful. Very well designed. Hats off for the late michael graves who’s the architect behind the magnificent design. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is top notch.
The hotel receiption accepted the postcards and put them in the table drawer .
We have not receive the postcards until today almost end of July 2024
Not sure if the postcard send out or the receptions completely forget to help us Mail them
the spa was a different case everything was amazing.
