Hurghada Coral Beach Hotel

I stayed at this hotel from 8th to 15th of May, with three adults, a 14-year-old child, and a 2-year-old toddler.
The room itself was neither good nor terrible. Torn curtains with stains, same mattress protectors, worn-out mattresses and chairs – this is the standard for a 4-star hotel in Egypt, so I wasn't surprised. Ants, although small, mostly roamed on our table. Given that we spent little time in the room, they didn't bother us much, but they exist, and despite reporting them to reception, someone came to exterminate them, but it didn't change the situation. We asked to change rooms, but what we saw in other rooms disappointed us completely, so we decided not to change rooms, thinking it would suffice. A piece of excrement lay in front of our veranda all the time we stayed at the hotel. Overall, the territory is very large, poorly planted with vegetation (mainly in areas close to the main building and pool), and there is a lot of trash in the corners and in the area between the bungalows (all rooms are separate bungalows, which was one of the main reasons for our booking there, so we wouldn't have to run around with a stroller). Housekeeping were working ok, and rooms were clean, additionally for small tips every days statues from towels - child happy!
No free wifi in the room. Be ready to pay 6$ per day! only slow wifi at the reception. Better to buy sim in the airport if you need a wifi. Safe for free in the rooms, same as kettle.
No any shampoo, shower gel, soap, body lotion. Only dispenser on the wall with all in one liquid.

All the shops, cafes, souvenir shops, and most importantly, the DIVING CENTER (which was another main reason for our booking there) on the territory closed down. All these structures are in terrible condition like sheds standing on the territory, and during our visit, a couple of such shops were being dismantled.

There are three slides by the pool that small children are not allowed to use, and two small slides for young children, but they are in very poor condition, rusty and dangerous, with holes on the surface. It's up to you to decide whether to let your child go there or not; my 2-year-old daughter rode them and was happy.
FOOD: Nothing special at all. Sometimes in the evening, they served fresh watermelon and melon. We liked the rice.
In general, food was just enough not to be hungry, but there was no abundance at all. You just need to try and stick to what you liked in the following days.

Morning bonus - freshly squeezed juices (FOR A FEE), and the same guys make fresh juices and cocktails on the beach (FOR A FEE), but the more you buy, the less you pay. Bargain, but they're worth it! I even met people who specifically went there for these cocktails and ate nothing else, they were on a so-called detox.

The beach is the highlight of the place, with a large semicircular lagoon where children swim, and then a long pier to the reef. The reef near the descent is terrible, but no one minded if we swam further beyond the buoys, and that's where all the beauty of the local reef is; this is why we go to Egypt, and it made our days! Talk to the person sitting there from time to time, and if you swim well, he will tell you where to swim. We saw rays, many different fish, slugs, corals, and shells.

Very cute little goats; my child really liked them. We learned about this place on the day of departure.
Very few people! It was just great! There are always sun loungers both by the pool and by the sea, always empty everywhere.
There seems to be a clinic; it says it's open 24 hours, but I haven't seen it working.
Friendly staff, and the animation team. 4 out of 7 days were very windy.

- Rooms are fine but far away from the sea & pool. Almost no rooms with good sea view. The rooms' size is normal not too big.

- Service is bad for room service and reception service while service in restaurant and on beach are good. The room service is too slow and poor tools with no towels in the toilet and very slow reply upon asking for extra towel. Also, the towels of the pool and sea is very bad, old & cut with very bad response from the reception upon sending a complain.

- Location : it is located in a good place on the sea with good sea view and sea corals.

My main concern is related to the service and very bad and slow reactions from the reception and responsible person to my complain.
