Disappointing Experience

My stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. The reception staff were unhelpful and barely communicated with us. They dismissed our requests and often told us to come back the next day. For instance, we were three people in the room but were given only one key. When I requested more keys, they told me to come back the next day because they were out of keys. The next day, they repeated the same excuse.

The room we were given was old and in poor condition. The door was cracked, the drawers didn't close properly, and the electric covers for the switches kept falling off. The safe worked intermittently, and we had to call the staff to open it manually several times.

We also had to request fresh towels, bed linens, and pillow covers as the ones provided were stained, appeared very old, and had an unpleasant odor.

The hotel was overcrowded, making us feel like sheep in a herd. The staff paid little attention to us, and we often felt lost. No one explained the meal timings or locations, and we had to figure out on our own which restaurants served which meals. This led to us having our tables cleaned before we finished eating because we weren't informed of the restaurant closing times. We frequently had to hunt for silverware as our requests were ignored.

The food quality was below average, and we often ended up eating bread and cheese for most meals. The lack of clear information and conflicting responses from the staff added to our frustration.

While the swimming pools were nice, the lack of hygiene was concerning. They allowed small kids to swim without waterproof diapers and let people swim in regular clothes. On several occasions, people were eating in the pools, forcing us to leave due to these unacceptable behaviors.

No one explained the entertainment schedule, causing us to miss most of the shows. On our last day, our room was far from the reception, and when we requested assistance with our luggage and transport to the lobby, we were told it would take 10 minutes. They showed up after 30 minutes and informed us they could only take the luggage, leaving us to walk to the reception ourselves. This almost caused us to miss our ride to the airport.

Additionally, we had to call the reception multiple times before they answered.

I had high expectations for this 5-star hotel, but I was truly disappointed by their lack of care and attention to important details.
