Stayed in a superior room with a view of the harbour. The hotel is centrally located for all the attractions of Alicante. The room was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable

It's pretty average. Aside from being next to the sea and in a relatively central location, there's nothing else I can recommend.

Even though we only live a half hour drive away we will be back to stay here regularly

The location is perfect and the service is professional. However the facility is a little bit old. The bed is also not so comfortable enough for a 4-star hotel.

Couldn’t believe the size of the suite and the bath in the window was an added luxury. so easy to walk to the centre. All of the staff were outstanding especially the lady at the restaurant Nuria

we were treat like royalty and had the best time. Breakfast was another level … nothing at all could be faulted even cava and we had our own little vip area. highly recommend staying here

Just returned from a girls weekend in Alicante. What a beautiful hotel this is. On arrival a couple of the rooms were ready so we could check in

The breakfast area that has been moved from the first floor where Suites Del Mar guests used to eat which has now been moved outside the dining area on the ground floor again does not feel exclusive even if there is a small menu on the table which allows you to order an omelet or the choice of another few items

Don’t think it was worth the extra cost for the room at Suites Del Mar when the equivalent room at Spa Porta Maris costs a lot less. It would have been nice to be informed about the changes prior to our visit this year

The smaller pool and sun bathing area is now not exclusive to Suites Del Mar guests and now feels crammed and is hard to get a sun lounger which meant we ended up going to the beach most days

Location is perfect, central to the restaurants and old town and a mere stroll from the beach

A perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. We would like to specifically mention Cristina Uriel’s outstanding service and support, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect

We ate at two of the recommendations and they were fabulous. Perhaps the guide makes one less adventurous, but when every other storefront is a restaurant, it’s helpful to pare down options

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the staff were so helpful and friendly - everything was down to an excellent standard. The hotel is very luxurious and high quality and yet maintains such a relaxed and chilled out atmosphere

Location is unbeatable even for a manageable city like Alicante - walkable to the water, the cathedrals, art museums and the castle. Other amenities - Pool is a good size with plenty of loungers

This was my second time staying here, but perhaps because of the type of room, I had to climb a small flight of stairs after getting off the elevator, so it was difficult to carry my luggage

Location was great and the room was clean. However the heating in the hotel is too high. Even if the heater was not turned on, the room was too warm. It got better when they switched to ac instead

A large hotel with a very good location. The rooms and the hotel as a whole were clean, but untidy - there are quite a few small defects everywhere, which make an unpleasant impression on the guests

They have continental breakfast, but on the third day, I am start to get bored with it. They don't have so much variety of breakfast. The bus stops from the airport just minutes away from the hotel

This is a typical corporate business hotel with expected standards and a nice rooftop pool - if sun is out. However it is not sufficiently near the centre for tourists on a short break to Alicante

Not my first stay in this hotel, but first time booked with the trip app because of the price difference. Before I used to book directly with the hotel

Friendly staff, 2 mins from the beach and harbour. A few mins from all the good bars and restaurants. The rooftop pool was great to relax in. Modern decor throughout and even free popcorn in the afternoon in reception.

Also the bar upstairs had such fun drinks! Breakfast was great every morning, we especially loved the fancy Nespresso machines and the chocolate donuts hehe

First time in Alicante we weren’t sure what to expect but this hotel was great! The staff were so nice and the room was perfect

The buffet breakfast was tasy and plenty of food to choose from. It is located in a very quite neighbourhood but very close to everything. The beach is just down the road and also the city center is really close too

Great hotel in great location with great staff. The hotel is absolutely spotless as well. Rooms are a little small but that tends to be the case in city centre hotels and not a huge issue really

I really liked the view from the 15th-floor window; it was a beautiful panorama. We were surprised that the bathroom only had soap, shower gel, and shampoo in large jars, no slippers, and no drinking water

We are very happy with this lovely hotel. The position beside the marina and old town is superb. The view from our balcony on the 23rd floor is amazing, looking straight at the castle and marina

The hotel building is one of the few tall buildings. The room is very clean and large. If you stay on the 24th floor, you can see the whole of Alicante and have a beautiful sea view

In the morning, the sun ☀️ climbs into the room and the air is filled with the fragrance of the blue sea. I will stay again next time live here

The location is fantastic! You can get here directly from the airport on the C6 bus, and it's super convenient for getting to all the attractions because they're so close by.

It takes about 18 minutes to walk to the city center, and you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea and the beach along the way. The staff are polite and the breakfast is very rich

My room was located high up with a view towards the castle. Good overall location however it is around a 20-25 minute walk to the center and promenade

Old fashioned but very central hotel. Its not modern but aircon worked , toilet was spacious and fine, single beds apringy but ok and its very central

The staff were very helpful whenever I needed assistance. I chose this hotel for its location near the train station and the tram, and it couldn’t have been more convenient. The breakfast add-on is inexpensive too

This is a budget priced hotel and people need to set their expectations accordingly. If you are looking to spend a lot of time in the hotel then this isn’t the place for you Because it doesn’t have those amenities

The hotel was clean and nice, greatly situated with all the facilities nearby. The only thing that bothered me is that the room was really small, like a closet, all the space was in the bathroom

I’d say the Marina is about a 10 minute walk, Perhaps 13 or 15 minutes if you are taking your time. But it’s priced accordingly, and I think a four star review is about right

I’m a little bit surprised with some of the other reviews on here, Perhaps they were expecting steak, but only willing to pay for McDonald’s

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the airport bus stop at Puerta del Mar and in the centre of everything. Clean rooms, nice toiletries and classy decor. Quite a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet

The location is prime being so close to the beach which takes about 3 minutes. The C6 bus from airport takes about 20 minutes and then takes about 3 minutes to get the hotel. Lots of choices of restaurants nearby

The hotel's location is also superb; there's a Carrefour convenience store just 50 meters away, the bustling harbor is 200 meters away, and Balala Castle is also 200 meters away

Everything was perfect. We were traveling by rental car, so the parking lot was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it was a great hotel.

Giving 5 stars here because we actually had to move room twice but it was dealt with efficiently and exceptionally well. Staff friendly, rooms lovely, breakfast lovely.

The bed was very comfortable, with soft and hard pillows. Although the breakfast was basic, meat, vegetables, cereals, cheese and drinks were also provided

Stopping at some fantastic beaches and coastal towns on the way. The bus to Alicante airport stops almost just outside the hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating with your requests

This is a nice little hotel in a great location. We were able to walk to the port, old town etc. Street parking was easily available, not free but 1. 80E for two hours plus after 8pm to morning was free

It is easy to get here from Alicante airport whether by bus or taxi. We love the location as everything we need is walkable and it is very close to the centre of Alicante for cafes and shops

i stayed here with my family in april and we enjoyed our stay. the hotel is comfy with excellent wifi in the rooms , comfy beds and plenty of hot water , 5 minutes from the beach and 1 minute from bars and restaurants

We stayed there for a couple of days. The staff is very friendly and will help you with whatever you need (calling a taxi, printing stuff, tips etc). We had great AC and the room was very comfortable

Also the price is very good for Alicante. The hotel is in proximity to everything. Bus, restaurants, beaches, supermarkets etc are within 5-10 min walk

Excellent location, but don’t expect any views as the streets are are narrow, also beware of local restaurant staff depositing bottles and rubbish late at night

The room was clean, nice personnel, good location in the center on Explanada, very close to the beach. Loud though because of the active traffic right in front the window

The castle is in walking distance as is the central market and the shuttle bus from the airport drops you minutes away from the hotel. Perfect for a short break in this lovely town
