Set in a quiet residential area, the NH Alicante is conveniently located within the Babel district of Alicante. There is a bus stop within easy walking distance and the Alicante train station is just 2km away putting guests within easy reach the Terra Mitica and Terra Natura theme parks and the main tourist attractions. Our modern, welcoming rooms feature contemporary amenities such as free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, and minibars. The upgraded suites offer a relaxing balcony or terrace, a sitting area, and sofa bed. Each day we prepare and serve a fresh breakfast buffet. Made-to-order hot dishes and early bird breakfasts are available upon request. Our in-house restaurant, Nhube, serves delectable, homemade Spanish dishes in a relaxing atmosphere. Guests can work out in the fully equipped gym or relax in the sauna and Jacuzzi. Our refreshing rooftop pool is perfect for cooling off after a long day sightseeing and is open from June - September. At the NH Alicante, there are 7 meeting rooms which can hold a maximum of 300 people. Otherwise, the room is OK, and breakfast is quite OK for short stays but thends to be repeatable.
The room cleaning service is not that good. We found our pajamas tossed over a bag, though we left them on the bed. And a pair of pants on the floor. Unfortunately, this left a bad mark on otherwise pleasant stay.
Coffee machine in the room is a bonus but I would suggest more coffee capsules, milk, and sugar is left for guests.
We would definitely return to this hotel.
Re the parking: there is free street parking at the back of the hotel.
And the hotel brought us a lovely bed and bowls for a dogs which was very kind.

It is a 20-25min walk to the city center but the was is well lit and safe. You are close to the port and running trails.
The gym, sauna, and jacuzzi is create for relaxing during the day when it’s too hot out.
The safe is great and they accept luggage hold when you check out of the hotel.
Clean, luxury and great hotel pretty close to downtown. 25min walking distance. For doing business is very convenient because the highway is right beside it. It has an amazing rooftop pool with stunning views. Every time I come to Alicante for business I repeat the hotel. Highly recommendable!
Outside the main centre a little but also a great Italian restaurant by some locals around the corner. Perfect spot for a rest and walk!
This hotel is located in a calm and tranquil area.
There are lots of buses taking you downtown.
Hotel is 15 minutes away by car from the city centre. But this I knew even before booking, so it's ok. Point is that around everything is so.... suburban.
Going for a walk around is not an option.
Rooms are nice. Big. Pity for the persistent smell of mold. Parking is costing 15 euro per day and every time you want to go out, you just pass to reception the new ticket that every single time you just take when you go in. You go out 3 times a day by car? 3 new tickets and 3 pit stop at the reception.
Pool is dirty. And small.
Best is to pay 20 euro for 2 Spritz that you must bring by yourself to the pool (because they don't allow any drink not coming from the hotel) from the bar. Drink with the straw that the "bartender" is touching with his fingers exactly where I suppose to put my lips to drink.
Plus for the breakfast. Good quality and variety.
Considering the price, I would honestly expect a bit more.
