Friends who drive their own cars can park their cars at SIXT next to the hotel and the public parking lot opposite. Then the Mediterranean restaurant facing the beach is really delicious

But the price of more than 2,400 per night is really not worth it. The bedding is average, and it still feels itchy. You have to use disposable bed covers. The hotel does not have its own parking lot

I would defo recommend this hotel and location to anyone as its the nicest and cleanest hotel I've been too ! Also when you walk into the door of the hotel there's an amazing smell over the whole hotel and since being home I can't get it out of my head lol I need to know what air freshener they use !!! Stayed at the Melia Alicante for a week with my friends for birthday celebrations. All I can say is WOW !!! Amazing hotel and staff. Hotel was spotless and perfect location to everything you need

Couldn’t believe the size of the suite and the bath in the window was an added luxury. so easy to walk to the centre. All of the staff were outstanding especially the lady at the restaurant Nuria

Just returned from a girls weekend in Alicante. What a beautiful hotel this is. On arrival a couple of the rooms were ready so we could check in

The breakfast area that has been moved from the first floor where Suites Del Mar guests used to eat which has now been moved outside the dining area on the ground floor again does not feel exclusive even if there is a small menu on the table which allows you to order an omelet or the choice of another few items

Don’t think it was worth the extra cost for the room at Suites Del Mar when the equivalent room at Spa Porta Maris costs a lot less. It would have been nice to be informed about the changes prior to our visit this year

The smaller pool and sun bathing area is now not exclusive to Suites Del Mar guests and now feels crammed and is hard to get a sun lounger which meant we ended up going to the beach most days

We ate at two of the recommendations and they were fabulous. Perhaps the guide makes one less adventurous, but when every other storefront is a restaurant, it’s helpful to pare down options

We stayed in a room that you had to take the elevator up two floors, then take stairs up to our floor - a little odd and harder with 100lbs of suitcases to carry. But the service was very courteous and helpful

They have continental breakfast, but on the third day, I am start to get bored with it. They don't have so much variety of breakfast. The bus stops from the airport just minutes away from the hotel

The hotel is a franchise, so the decor is old; it just rebranded. The facilities inside are very basic. Plus, there are very few parking spaces, so we had to park on the street, which was inconvenient.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The good : It’s very central. It has the hotel parking, even though that car park is quite small, if it’s full there’s a public car park next door

I was running the marathon in Valencia and needed to keep my diet plain and clean, for anyone else doing something similar in the future I would say that the breakfast and the dinner are sufficient to correct carb load if that's what you need to do

Make sure to choose a room with a terrace to be in the new building, which is much more pleasant than the old one that has no balcony and is a bit out of the way

It's not suitable for tourism; it's quite far from the city center and tourist attractions, and it's not the kind of large golf resort I imagined.

Great hotel and convenient for transport to Alicante and Benidorm without the commercial bits. Very non tourist area apart from the golf.

The room was small but sufficient and the location is good. The pool was very busy and without much shade. The jacuzzi was much appreciated.

This is a typical corporate business hotel with expected standards and a nice rooftop pool - if sun is out. However it is not sufficiently near the centre for tourists on a short break to Alicante

Bar staff pleasant, prices reasonable as are in room fridge drinks good room service. Air con excellent, good beds , digital safe in room. Shower and bath excellent lots of hot water

If i lay in bed and have the shower door open it's like u have ur neighbour's inside ur room. And the breakfast is very basic but still OK

Get to see the sunrise at breakfast which is a novelty. The rooms are good, provided you get a sea view, although floors 2-3 are more desirable as there is a garage infront at ground floor level.

Simple but very nice and fairly cheap. Room is very comfortable, air con, modern good shower. It's a good 20 min walk to the centre we didn't mind this at all

Friendly staff, 2 mins from the beach and harbour. A few mins from all the good bars and restaurants. The rooftop pool was great to relax in. Modern decor throughout and even free popcorn in the afternoon in reception.

Also the bar upstairs had such fun drinks! Breakfast was great every morning, we especially loved the fancy Nespresso machines and the chocolate donuts hehe

The buffet breakfast was tasy and plenty of food to choose from. It is located in a very quite neighbourhood but very close to everything. The beach is just down the road and also the city center is really close too

Truly enjoy the stay in a well-maintained apartment with good amenities and in a good location. Double-glazing windows helped to dampen the street noise during busy period. Host is very responsive to questions.

We are very happy with this lovely hotel. The position beside the marina and old town is superb. The view from our balcony on the 23rd floor is amazing, looking straight at the castle and marina

The hotel building is one of the few tall buildings. The room is very clean and large. If you stay on the 24th floor, you can see the whole of Alicante and have a beautiful sea view

My room was located high up with a view towards the castle. Good overall location however it is around a 20-25 minute walk to the center and promenade

In terms of location, about a 30 minute walk from town centre, but very useful if coming from the airport as it's only 15/20 minutes away by car (taxis are relatively cheap from this location to the airport)

Perfect. Was treated with excellence by every member of staff that I met. Rooms are squeaky clean. This hotel is located in a calm and tranquil area. There are lots of buses taking you downtown.

Workers at reception were very kind and treated us greatly. Breakfast was delicious and had many alternatives to choose from

The hotel is easy to find, only 3 mins walk to city centre and staffs are friendly and kind enough to help you.

Not as bad as the reviews state I got a nice clean room and everything worked the bathroom was also clean. Lots of space in the single room for a single traveller

The only problem with the room was a small stain in the bath and a broken socket. They man working at the reception understood English well. The location is great as it is pretty much in the middle of Alicante

The staff were very helpful whenever I needed assistance. I chose this hotel for its location near the train station and the tram, and it couldn’t have been more convenient. The breakfast add-on is inexpensive too

This is a budget priced hotel and people need to set their expectations accordingly. If you are looking to spend a lot of time in the hotel then this isn’t the place for you Because it doesn’t have those amenities

The hotel was clean and nice, greatly situated with all the facilities nearby. The only thing that bothered me is that the room was really small, like a closet, all the space was in the bathroom

Nice budget hotel. comfortable and clean rooms. Quite good for the prices,. Very easy to connect to the city and to the airport. The only remark is that restaurant is not always open during lunch time.

Great place to stay close to the bus and Walking distance to the tren station.

If it had a buffet for all breakfast, lunch and dinner. This place would be perfect for a get away and stay. Even though the staff were polite and friendly

Service at the restaurant was a hit and miss with one arrogant male attendant we tried to avoid. Further the property is clean and parking garage is affordable and convenient indoors (payable) and outdoors (free)

15am this room is disturbed by the emptying of the large bins across the road. Throughout the night motor bikes are moved into the parking lot also across the road

It wasn't possible to sort so after two days we were offered a room change. Hopefully will be fixed for the next occupant. -Final night the toilet cistern stopped refilling so the toilet would not flush

Delivery vehicles stop outside to service the nearby shops. Every night we had broken sleep. -The room safe was not working on arrival at the hotel
