Hotel is very new and stylish, and room was a good size and comfortable.
Amazing view from the room on the 18th floor.
Indoor pool was a good size and warm, and jacuzzi outside was great.
Breakfast was very good, a wide selection of food, likewise the dinner buffet was very good quality.
Will definitely stay here again.
Only downside was very rarely any baked beans on the cooked breakfast section.
The staff were very friendly, the rooms were always made up promptly everyday.
I arrived Tuesday because i had forgotten my own bath soap, i used the Hotels, i left a very small piece of soap (2mm) on the side of the bath. The next morning i tried to have a shower, the bar holding the shower head was broken, and had been for some time as it was very dirty, and would explain why the shower head was on top of the taps. Reception had it fixed that day, the bath and wash basin were still dirty. On the third day Thursday, only my bed was made no cleaning, my bathroom mat was dirty and very wet, the room maid had just put it over the side of the bath.
Friday the maid was three rooms away from 1501 i waited 30 minutes for her, in the end i went looking for her, she was further away, so was never going to go to my room, i gave her a bin full of rubbish, mainly Mc Donalds bags from the store next to the Hotel, and i left the room, she did not return to clean or make the bed.
Saturday the bed was made no cleaning, there was two chips that i dropped on the balcony on Thursday night i was unable to pick them up, because of a back injury, yet the maid made my bed, and left my balcony door open. Sunday the same. I had complained every day, but on Monday afternoon i let things get to me, and i took both pictures and video of my room and bathroom, it shows the bath, surrounds and taps dirty, the small bit of soap still there, dirty wall tiles and dirty floor, where room cleaners had just moved a mop around the middle of the floor, i showed it to reception and told them that as i had complained every day about this i considering showing these both on Facebook in English and French, also on Trip Advisor and other companies in the Travel Trade. After seeing my pictures cleaners were sent to my room, but i was leaving the next morning, why should it take this before someone takes notice.
The reason i was using Mc Donalds food next door to my own 4 * Hotel was quite often your hot food was cold, plenty of choice but cold, getting back to Wednesday, at the bar, i was the only person at the bar, the barman asked me what i wanted and he went to get my drink, before he started a Spanish couple arrived at the bar, he started to serve them leaving me standing, this happened twice, i reported it to reception, to a very nice man wearing glasses, i do not know his name, he is the same man who got my shower rail fixed,you may be able to check your duty rota to see who he is. Something must have been said to the bar staff, because after that, they showed more politeness, while i was talking to this male receptionist, an older lady in reception, shouted over, "we have had no other complaints, this maybe the case, but i can tell you as i did her, i know of others, also you had a number of guests from Belgium, who were just picking at your food, and found the bar staff unhappy, then they were going elsewhere to eat and drink, i was going to the RH Victoria Hotel, where the staff were pleased to see you and tried to speak to you.
My last day Tuesday 13th, i was leaving early, and i was told by a young lady in reception, i would be allowed into the dining room but can have Coffee and Biscuits, from a 4* Hotel, at this time 5:45 am there was already hot food on trays, not on hop plates, so when the room opens at 8 am, this might explain why the food was cold.
As i have said i have stayed at your Hotel before, and i was looking forward to staying again, my room was in a good position, where i could see the sea, it was dirty, the food at best was cool to cold, and i found myself eating at other locations, i paid over 600 euro for my stay, and to be honest could have got better from a 2* Hotel for 300 Euro.
