Hotel is well worth the four stars ! Had a lovely warm welcome and a glass of cava . Room wasn’t ready on check in for a few hours which was a pain as arrived at 1.30pm. Rooms were lovely but a bit too small for us not enough storage. Shower was amazing best I’ve had in a holiday hotel. Breakfast was fantastic great choice of food.
Only negative was getting a sunbed was impossible even with signs saying towels would be removed the beds where still reserved early so went to the beach everyday

The hotel was nice in the reception and food areas and located on a quiet street just 5 mins from the beach. Carpets in communal areas were stained and old. I was on floor 6 and they were terrible. Room lovely but if you like privacy the toilet is pretty much in the bedroom. Shower room in a cubicle so there is no where to get dressed other than the bedroom. Not ideal for friends sharing. Room service made beds but didn’t replace milk after day 1 or have mugs in the room, which I expected from a hotel. Also didn’t sweep balcony so constant sand through the room. The pool area is nice but plants over grown and next to no sun most of the day on 90% of the beds. Breakfast 6/10 on selection. Our view was that this wasn’t aimed at the English at all, and we felt the staff didn’t really like the English. Perhaps a personal view. Overall it was a nice hotel in a good spot in the quieter part of Benidorm. Wouldn’t go back but certainly one of the nicer hotels in the area.

My husband and I had a lovely time at this hotel.
It was extremely clean and tidy.
All the staff were very approachable and friendly.
The pool area was clean and plenty of availability beds.
The staff at the pool bar were very friendly and cheerful especially Alberto. He was always professional and friendly.

The overall decor of this hotel is brilliant. All the areas were clean and fresh. The rooms are a good size and well decorated.

The food could do with some improvements as it was a little basic with limited choice from the buffet (half-board) aspect.

The pool area is absolutely the hotel's best feature but the sunbeds do get taken up very quickly from 9am so you have to get there quickly.

They do offer parking which is directly across the road from the hotel at €17 a day which was handy as there was very little parking.

The location is also great as it's only about 1km from the old town and just over 2km into the benidorm night life.

Our stay at the Mercure Benidorm was a great experience from start to finish. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was good. We stayed in a standard double room with a balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The room size was fairly standard, not huge but certainly not cramped and was adequate for a relaxing stay. The public areas of the hotel were tastefully decorated and there were plenty of places to sit and relax. The pool and the garden areas were fantastic with plenty of sun loungers and seating, providing a serene oasis to escape the bustle of Benidorm. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Benidorm.

+ Really great location, in the middle of everything and in between new and old town. Hotel is stunning but please note it's not too child friendly we took a 1.5 year old with us. However some of the staff were lovely towards her it's just that the pool and hotel in general/ food is very much catered towards adults. Really nice rooms and balcony's, food was fantastic and sooo much to offer every night and morning, Buffett was always changing too which was nice. Great drinks and cocktails on offer. Would definitely return on a couples cvacation but would book elsewhere next time with children. Lovely and so much to offer Fantastic room very spacious and clean Sonja was amazing in the restaurant so friendly and welcoming. Had an amazing massage from Maryanne would highly recommend one of the best.
