We had a very nice stay, the staff was great however we feel as if the hotel was a bit dark, and not much room in the lobby. Other then that we had tons of fun.

I don't consider ibis to be in the ultra-budget category so I was surprised that this particular property behaves as though it were. Room totally bare: no coffee, no kettle, no glass, no spons, no bidet spray, bare walls. Receptionist either absent or buries head in phone or computer. The only reason I booked here was to be close to the bullring. For that, you would be better to stay in a proper hotel then take Metro Line 2 (the red one) direction Las Rozas and get off at Ventas.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to sleep in a storage closet with jailhouse charm, this Ibis is the place for you. The room, bathroom, and toilet compete for who can be the smallest—and the dirtiest. Bonus feature: a broken AC to really complete the ‘inmate on vacation’ experience. A true masterclass in minimalist discomfort. ITGS indeed.

Let’s talk about the toilet. Calling it cramped would be generous — I’ve seen airplane bathrooms with more space and dignity. You basically have to perform a yoga pose just to sit down, and if you dare to close the door, good luck moving at all. And speaking of the door… why even bother? There’s virtually no privacy. It’s the kind of setup where you hear everything, and let’s just say it’s not ideal when you’re sharing the room. The cleanliness? Questionable at best. The entire space feels neglected, with the ambiance of a badly lit train station restroom. Honestly, it felt like punishment. Smh

The room was an absolute triumph in the art of disappointment. Tiny doesn’t even begin to describe it — you open the door and immediately bump into the bed, which somehow takes up 95% of the space. No room to walk, no space to breathe, and certainly no thought put into comfort. The décor? Think bland meets budget prison cell, with lighting that screams “interrogation room” more than “relaxation.” As for the AC, it was either broken, haunted, or just staging a silent protest — either way, the room was a sauna. The window barely opened, which is probably for the best because the view was equally depressing. It’s almost impressive how quickly the vibe went from ‘budget hotel’ to ‘low-security detention facility.’ Honestly, I’ve had more restful nights on airport floors.

It's a decent hotel. The bathroom comes with soap and shampoo. The room has the basics: a bed, shelves, and a TV. In our case, the view overlooked the inns. Just downstairs is a Carrefour that opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 2 a.m. Across the street is a Vips/Gino restaurant, along with several breakfast places and bars. Excellent value for money.

The staff was incredible, speechless. We did the reservation at the front desk and everything was paid and ready to go, when unfortunately we had a personal problem and we asked if we could cancel the reservation. The 2 guys that were at the front desk on the 3rd of June around 1pm (I wish I could remember their names) were incredible! They immediately grabbed 2 glasses of water since we were pretty sad and stressed out and they explained everything that we needed to do in order to solve the cancellation and refund. I wish all customer services were like the one that they provided. Wish them all the best in their careers.

If you consider sleeping the main activity in a hotel like this, then don't go here. The rooms are airless and warm, also because there is no AC. In winter, that lasts until May at this hotel you can only make warmer, and in their summer colder.

Location is ok if you want to go for bull fighting, otherwise it is not really close to anything.

Another great stay at this hotel. Staff were brilliant, spoke perfect English and answered any questions we had. Perfectly located, far enough away from the city centre to be quiet yet only 10 minutes on the Metro to get there - with a Metro station literally outside the hotel. Cafe's, bakeries and shops all on the same street. We always stay here when in Madrid.

This hotel is really top-notch quality, from the staff to the rooms the hotel is really a blessing for a vacation in Madrid, the receptionist all were super kind and helpful all the time! I had a room with a terrace (705) and the view is amazing, the terrace super big and bright with a GREAT noise isolation, you couldn’t hear anything from outside, also the beds are probably one of the best we ever had in a hotel, truly a blessing if you a looking for a place to rest.
The area is super close to the center, 35 min by walk to the retiro park, 2 min by walk to the metro and many many shops around.
The breakfast is a bit simple but still good for the price.
Overall a great stay in Madrid. Special mention to Cristian who helped us with our reservation, to the guy who works during the mornings in the reception and breakfast and to the lady who was during the weekend in the afternoon, all very nice and helpful.
Looking forward to come back soon!
