The best place to stay in madrid. Location very strategic in central madrid near to metro station.

I went with a friend for a four day visit to Madrid and needed a hotel that did single rooms and was central. This hotel is located perfectly with nearby access to Atocha rail station  and the express bus from the airport, and with Estación de Artes the Metro line also nearby and only 3 stops from Sol.
The reception is staffed with very helpful individuals with infinite patience, which we nearly tested whilst trying to get out. Larding cards into a format that could be printed. We arrived bonfire our rooms were ready and after checking in they were whisked away to a secure room whilst we went to explore the Prado
The rooms are very well appointed with a mini  fridge, many electricity outlets at waist height, reasonable lighting, a large wardrobe with secure safe inside, and sufficient hangers
The en suite was small but sufficient, the shower was powerful and hot, and the complimentary shower gel pleasant
The bed was comfy, a spare blanket available if needed, and the bed linen and towels changed frequently during our short stay.
Both rooms had small balconies, sadly due to the constant rain we didn’t use them
We will be back!

There are numerous museums, restaurants and food stores nearby. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were updated and large.
A good location. Close to the train station to and from Barcelona. The room had a nice balcony - in our case over the plaza.
Recommended.

I stayed at this hotel last weekend (27 to 29 sep) and i was very satisfied. Very clean room and bathroom; they also provide daily cleaning. The guys at the reception were professional and kind. Location is perfect cuz it's near the metro station and Atocha station. It's surrounded by restaurants, bars and fast food chains such as McDonald's, Kfc, dunkin donuts. There's also a pharmacy nearby. The only downside for me are the walls, they are not that sound proof: you can hear your neighbors and people outside.

Very convenient to walk from train station. Staff polite and helpful. Good location to dining and night- life. Room was VERY small with no view but but worked well for our 1 night stay

Reception staff is not welcoming. Construction was on going at hotel during summer season while we were staying, was so loud.
Excessive bleach was used in room, there was a heavy smell in washroom. We asked reception if we could leave our luggages at reception until our evening flight, they said yes but they did not show up and respond to us.
This hotel will be your worst stay in Madrid if you decide to book here. Our first and last stay at this hotel and city.

It was the worst hotel we've ever been to. The staff was very rude and dangerous. We had a terrible and scary experience when we just asked for extra towels. We were 3 staying in one room and they only gave us 3 small towels, which could not cover the whole body. We explained our problem and asked for 2 more towels. Instead of saying they could give us extra towels right away, they denied our request. They said that they had already put the towels in the room and could not give extra towels. We insisted on extra towels because the other towels were really wet and one of us still needed to shower. We called the reception 3 times, they refused. Upon our insistence, two people came to our room and wanted to check whether we were telling the truth or false. Since my mother and father were not dressed, i denied their request and said they should bring us extra towels because this is a hotel and we are customers who deserve to at least take a shower. I also tried to explain how those small towels would be enough for 3 people. And I wanted to close the door because we were not convenient. And suddenly a bald and swarthy man, whom we always see at the reception, punched the door of our room and didn’t let me to close to door. he pushed and opened the door again while he was shouting. I was really scared. If my father had not come out of the bathroom, he might have attacked me. After their very bad attitude we left the hotel immediately, even though we had paid for 2 more nights.
We went through a really difficult situation, we were literally stuck in the middle of the road with our luggages. Fortunately we were able to quickly find a great family room at a very close area and get through this disastrous experience.
This is not a hotel that tries to please its customers, it is a hotel run by people like the mafia. Never come here, they really don't know how to manage a hotel.

Close to the train station and to some touristic areas where you can go by walk. Good service, reception available 24/7 but there is stairs at the entrance which make it difficult with the luggage. The rooms are a bit old fashioned for the price I paid and you can hear everything from the rooms next door. Overall the stay was good.
