I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but never during the summer months. It turns out the hotel turns off the air conditioning at midnight and turns it back on at 7 a.m. When I asked the reception why, they told me it was because the noise bothers the neighbors. The problem is that you end up roasting in there. It was 34 degrees when I arrived, and I couldn’t sleep at all because of how hot my room was. If the AC units are too noisy, replace them—but don’t make your guests sweat through the scorching Madrid summers. The hotel staff is wonderful, and the hotel itself isn’t bad—but avoid staying there during the summer.

One night layover on the longer travel, the stay was very pleasant. Hotel is nice, calm and conveniently located.

All the staff are always smiling. And the bedding is clean. The water pressure in the bathroom is good. The breakfast was delicious. I will definitely come back here again when I visit Madrid.

Elegant and convenient.
I thought this hotel was off the beaten track, but it is across from a metro station, and the trains here run every 3 minutes or so, which meant I was not very far away from the art museums time-wise. My room was large, quiet and clean, and the front desk attendants were uniformly warm and helpful. The ambience was elegant without being opulent. There is a restaurant on site with a three choice menu. It is frequented by locals, which made me feel less of a tourist! Highly recommended!

Lovely building, clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast, and good proximity to both Madrid’s Chamartín train station and the airport. The property is beautifully maintained.

This NOT 4 star hotel. Absolutely outdated, fake, super noisy from the street and inside - can hear what people are talking in neighbour rooms. And for small bottle of water 0.2 ml they charge 2.20 Euro. (Usually water for free). So avoid this place!
