Porto Kalamaki Hotel

Hotel Porto Kalamaki is a place I will definitely return to. I spent an unforgettable vacation there with my family, and it was all thanks to the wonderful people we met. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like we were among friends.

The time spent at Porto Kalamaki was filled with joy and positive experiences, so I won’t hesitate to go back at the next opportunity. It’s a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who values a warm, personal touch and a memorable atmosphere.

We had swordfish and lamb chops. The portions were huge and the food was excellent. Such a great location and very cheap.

I stayed here one week with two friends: the place is nice, the value for money great and the staff kind, helpful and happy to share excellent advices about what to do in Crete. You can't go wrong with Porto Kalamaki Hotel!

Perfect Vacation!

My first time in Greece but definitely not the last one.

Together with my parents we spent 7 wonderful days. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. Even though I am living on Dubai for the past 10 years and let’s say I am used with a high standard of accommodation and service, this place was top. Very modern rooms, extremely clean place, very delicious food, amazing views, there is a shop right next to the hotel and few beaches nearby and the most important factor that made our stay so memorable are the people!! They are just soooo kind and hospitable!

From the moment I arrived, Georgia gave me a warm welcome and I had a very smooth check in. Throughout our stay Iro gave us the best suggestions where to eat, what to visit and helped us to book everything; like she was our personal concierge even though this is not her job, so blessed that we have met her. Every morning we got served breakfast by the lovely Ana and Maria, so accommodating and kind. In the evening, John and Stelios served us delicious food and amazing cocktails. Nonetheless, Mr. Andreas is one of the kindest and hard working person I met! And the one who cleaned our room daily, Efi, took care of the smallest details which made our stay more comfortable.

Both myself and my parents felt like we are part of the family and were very sad to leave this place but for sure we will be back!

Wonderful staff, always friendly and helpful. Extremely clean. Quiet and peaceful. Only a 20 minute trip on the 21 bus into Chania Town if you wanted to go into noise.
Summer has a wonderful fun Greek night to join in.

Just come back from a fabulous 10 days staying here (2adults, 2 young kids). Everyone working at the hotel was super helpful and friendly. The apartment was a good size and kept spotless by the cleaning staff. Location is brilliant with a bus stop right outside straight into Chania. Five minutes walk either way are gorgeous sandy beaches.
We normally like to eat in different places every night when we're on holiday, but the food here was so good (and reasonably priced) we ended up eating dinner 4 nights, as well as having a few lunches and a couple of breakfasts!
Only very slightly improvement for me (and it really is slight....) would be to have a little cupboard in the lounge where the kids were sleeping on sofa beds- just so they have a proper space of their own.
There's also a little supermarket on site where you can pick up all the basics, and again, quite reasonably priced .
Definitely recommend!

Really great stay ! All the staff was really kind and helpful. The room was extremely clean. The restaurant and pool bar are a very good option when you’re on the pool. The bus stop near to the hotel is convenient and the shop had all the stuff we needed. Lovely and calm surroundings. Hope to get back here someday!
