Amazing amazing amazing. Villa Ermis is incredibly beautiful, and so thoughtfully decorated and equipped. It had everything we could have hoped for and more! It’s such a great place to relax, cook, etc and only a short drive from town and beautiful beaches. The owner Georgios is the most helpful person we’ve come across. A beautiful villa in a lovely village just minutes from Rethymno. George is an excellent host and made us all feel very welcome. We had a wonderful time at Atsipopolou villas this Easter. George is a great host, the villas are really well-appointed and the village is charming. There are three villas so it would be perfect for an extended family group. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Villa, George and family make everything so handy for you and his mothers desserts are delicious. Really quiet spot for relaxing but also only 5 mins in taxi to town. The pool area is great and perfect for families or groups. There is a bakery and coffee shop next door which are perfect for breakfast and lunch.

Me and my family love this hotel. It is probably the best family vacation we have had so far. It is a little pricey, but it's totally worth it. The food is delicious and the location is excellent! Lovely service, great space, beautiful view. The beach/sea isn’t the nicest for Greek standards but it’s still quite lovely. It’s deep so not ideal with toddlers/ young kids. For a Hotel that claims to be 5 star, the rooms are simply not good enough. The inside of the hotel, especially rooms could use some work. In addition it was zero sound isolation both from the hallway and street so I cannot recommend this really. Service, breakfast and pool area was decent.

The rooms were very clean, cleaned everyday after leaving the room. If needed service was given to satisfaction. The location was the best part of the hotel, around a one minute walk to the entrance of the old town, and very close to the beach. We were upgraded from the Minos Hotel to the Ambassador accross the street. Everything is new, the staff is great and the location is nice. Rooftop bar and restaurant. A wonderful brand new hotel in the center of Rethymno city. The staff was friendly and accommodated every request that we had during our stay. They provided us a free upgrade in a 60 sqm suite which was beautiful. The decoration of the hotel is really nice. We had a delicious dinner in roof top restaurant where breakfast is also served. The stay at Plaza Beach was a fantastic experience. The staff were polite and the room was cleaned regularly. The staff were approachable and provided a professional service. We had paid for half board so we saw them twice a day at least. Reception staff were helpful when the transfer was not confirmed by my travel agency.

The apartment we visited was nice. The kitchen had a dishwasher, oven, stove, and a microwave oven. The dining table was a bit small, but four could eat around it quite well. Nice hotel - BUT when the key for room 218 can open room 219, something is wrong. There is no refill of soap. When you arrive there is 2 water bottle in the fridge. Nice hotel with good breakfast. A 5 stars hotel probably needs to save money otherwise it is hard to understand why on the TV the CNN and BBC are blocked and all other TV programs are in Germany. In the room they give free coffee capsules and water only for the first day and no tea bags at all. The water in the shower are not hot enough. Besides all this we enjoyed our stay.

Good hotel though some things could be better. Not all reception staff was helpful or particularly kind, felt a bit rushed. We were told to go out and wait for welcome drinks, after 30 minutes we found out that the bar had never been informed to make these. In addition, I found a long hair from a previous guest in my room on the soap, which hadn't been cleaned properly.
