Second time staying here, lovely helpful staff. Plenty to choose form at breakfast. We didn't have evening meal as ate out. Although couple of negatives was slow in setting up tables, and closing the pool early. Beach 5 mins walk, lots of surrounding bars on sea front, Walk or take a bus outside hotel to Old Town.

Easygoing hotel, with good access to amenities locally, short distance to beach, restaurants, good access for taxis and pickup locations for excursions. Room was clean, large and air conditioned. Standard buffet fare, with lots of different options for breakfast and dinner. Opportunities to practice Greek but for when that runs out the majority of staff are fluent English speakers.

Not quite a full 5 stars but worth a shout. Don't be put off by corridors, they are a little shabby but the rooms are fabulous, we had a suite thanks to a free upgrade. Fruit, wine and baguettes were left for us, welcome after a late arrival. Minos Aparthotels is such a great home 🏠 when you are away from home 🏠 the (new apartments) have such modern large showers and bathrooms, the spacious balconies are amazing to have evening cocktails and dinners. Was here 3 years ago and it was amazing unfortunately on return this year we have found the evening meal to have gone down hill rapidly , not much choice , doesn't taste of much. We are half board and seriously would not do this again as we've found it a waste of money. The place is clean and staff friendly and the facilities are good . The spa services was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and professional. We had a pleasure to meet Evdokia (Spa Manager), Poppi and Konstantinos (Therapists) who provided an exceptional service. It is worth to visit, I highly recommend it.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Several rooms have a convenient little kitchen. Unfortunately the pool closes at 6. The stay in the hotel was amazing and I really enjoyed getting a massage in the hotel spa. Evdokia is very friendly and helpen us with the booking. Dina did the massage and made me feel relaxed. Excellent trip! We were 7 days in paradise! The SPA was unbelievable, with Evdokia- the friendly , beautiful face at the reception, Dina and Constantinos at the massages...We had very clean and tidy rooms, the mediterranean views are from another world and all the personnell was exceptionaly profesional and friendly! The stay at Plaza Beach was a fantastic experience. The staff were polite and the room was cleaned regularly. The staff were approachable and provided a professional service. Thank you Axos team! We had a fantastic 5 days right at the start of the summer season. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Whilst it’s definitely the people who make the place so fantastic, the rooms were bright and clean with everything you could want for a self-catered holiday. Breakfast included was also a very welcome addition!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool area was awesome. The location was near to the beach and there were plenty of shops and eating places nearby. After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport.

This place is perfect in many ways. Voula is a very nice host and makes you feel at home. The rooms are very complete and have comfortabel beds. Very good breakfast! The location is the best in the old city, close to everything. Parking is included on a private parkinglot. Great stay! Crete is wunderfull.

We just stayed there for the last 4 days and it was wonderful. Georgios is a great host and we felt like home at Olympia. The location is perfect, 2 min by feet to the sea and to many nice restaurants. The pool and pool bar are very cozy. The beds were also very comfortable and the A/C is working perfectly, we could sleep very well with 35 degrees outside. Thank you for having us!

We stayed here for five days and all the staff were so welcoming and eager to please, we felt right at home. There is a beach right across the road which was lovely. Our room was basic but clean, the showers were quite cold but with the hot weather this wasn't much of an issue! I stayed there for 7 days. It was a pleasant stay with minor problems, for example wifi was terrible - signal strength and reach was weak. Food was tasty and diverse for this standard. The best thing about the place were the people working there, mutual respect goes a long way :)

Came with my partner to stay for one night, reception is very professional and nice, the rooms are very clean and well equipped. We stayed for 10 days end of June and booked a sea view room 9th floor. Views were amazing however you do need to catch 3 different elevators or take stairs so you need to weigh up if its worth it for a view as to be honest lots of lower floor rooms seemed ok however the lower you go the more likely to have shade on your balcony and less of a view but I would say maybe floor 4 upwards would be a good...
