Short break booked here in July 2024. Great little hotel, rooms were small but clean and serviced daily. Problem with the shower was fixed as soon as mentioned and staff were all super friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a reasonably priced stay in a great city, super location close to local shops, bars and attractions.

The place is really bad! The rooms are NOT what they put in their pictures, location is really good, but, the beds are really hard, walls are extremely thin, you can hear people having their thing next door and human gases in their toilets! Our door was sooooo thin that you can basically open it with a little push! Is the worst hotel in Rome, for the price we pay I’m pretty sure you can get another way better than this one! Staff are awesome people!

This place is great for a one-star hotel, or maybe a cheap hostel. But we paid good money for an allegedly three-star hotel where we arrived with nobody to receive us (during the day!), and then finally sat down at a room with chipped paint, distressed furniture that looks like it came from a thrift shop, a moldy shower, stained towels, and no AC, not even a ceiling fan.

We called Chase Travel to make a claim against them, checked out immediately, and booked another hotel of the same stars and rate and that started us off with an excellent experience.

The concierge, the only person running the hotel, looked at us dispassionately and lacking desire to accommodate us as guests.

I'm not sure what happened to this hotel in the past few months - maybe a change of management or a stroke of bad luck - but I don't see this as a trustworthy hotel. This could be a great hotel considering its location and rooftop terrace, but if you need any further evidence at the mismanagement of this hotel, look at previous owner responses to reviews here. Stay away!

Update to response: We did not stay five minutes - we stayed in the room an hour or so. The owner's snarky response to us and other guests proves our doubts about this business, and their retorts and assumptions about their customers could constitute as libel. Why would we have booked another hotel ahead of time when this is the one we had wanted to stay at?

I’m shocked at the good reviews, this hotel is nothing like the photos. A few things that stood on in the one night we booked:

No soap bar (had to use the shower body wash to wash hands).

Thin duvet, similar to gift tissue wrapping.

Not like the photos at all to the point that I wonder if those were just pulled off Google. Based on the other reviews, others think the same so I’d be curious anyone stayed in a room that looked like the photos.

I understand there are different types of rooms, but the property should post all types of the rooms so you might expect a variety as opposed to expecting an upscale boutique look and then getting what appears to be a dorm room.

Could hear our neighbours toilet flush very audibly against the wall and heard them dying their hair in the bathroom and moving objects around on the counter. Could also hear laughter and conversations and nose blowing..?

We were only staying for one night, but if we had booked more, I would have likely disputed the chargeand found somewhere else to stay.

The wifi in room 4 doesn’t connect, not sure if it’s because it’s at the end of the hall but that was frustrating for travellers from out of the country who depend on wifi.

This hotel has a 4 star rating which is suspiciously high for all the reasons I listed. Do some research before you book this hotel.

Added in photos of what the listing looks like, compared to what we got. I’ve looked at a few of the responses that the hotel owners have posted and them saying that we should be posting in the comments what kind of room we wanted but when the only photos they show are beautiful rooms I would not think that I would have to specify that I would like my room to match what is in the listing.

Edit to add: you can see from the owner's responses to not just me but others, that they truly don't care about their customers or being professional, so that should be reason enough to not book here when there a plenty of hotels in Rome that are incredible.

Hotel was perfect for 2 nights sleeping. We basically used the room for resting and sleeping. We also used the included continental breakfast. The elevator is very tight maybe one person and their bag can fit. The beds are par for Europe and were relatively firm. Balcony and rooftop were both super nice. The staff in the front was very helpful and friendly. This was also super close to the trains and not in a super touristy area.

This place is a complete dump. Dirt all over the walls and floor. Black mold in the shower. Human feces on the wall behind the bidet. This place has it all! All the things that will make you run from their establishment. Once the staff knew we were unhappy, they completely ignored us instead of trying to work with us. Oh, and lets not forget it is an hour walk from any of the ruins or stuff you really want to see. They suggested we take a 30 minute metro ride where you need to jump from one train to the next. So, in recap the room, service, and location were all hot garbage.

To the owner: Do better! Pictures do not lie. Maybe stop focusing your attention on attacking reviewers and start putting some of that energy towards cleaning your disgusting establishment.

We just got back from our first trip to Rome. We booked The B place through our travel agent. The photos online looked beautiful so we chose this one!
Very soon after checking in we realized how bad this place is. The room smelled of mold. The walls were so so dirty. The shower was covered in black mold. The wall behind the bidet had human excrement on the wall.
Our travel agent called the people at the front desk to tell them our concerns and when we got back it’s speak with them about it, they looked down, didn’t not greet us and ignored us. Now they are telling the travel agent that they tried to fix it for us. Which is a complete lie!
We ended up packing and finding a new hotel and it was the best thing we could have done!
Not to mention if you want to be anywhere near the coliseum, this is not the place to stay! Not that you’d want to sleep in a place as dirty as this!

Close to the metro which makes everything accessible. Rooms are 'ok' but comfortable enough. Fantastic and very helpful staff! And offers really good breakfast. We will for sure stay again.

This hotel is an example of SHAME on customer service, in best words, a TOTAL DISREGARD. I made reservations by mistake for the next month, and my trip would be this month... I noticed my mistake and soon after and requested the change, however, the hotel's response was:

"We can't accommodate you, because we are fully booked on ONE of the FIVE days you requested".

I asked if it would be possible for them to receive us on the other days available, the hotel's answer was “NO”.

I called them to try to solve my problem, I even suggested paying more, if that was the case. But I only got one answer from the hotel: NO, NO, NO. And of course, they do NOT want to refund my money.

TOTAL DISREGARD!!!

Great location and nice staff, but the breakfast was terrible, the beds were super uncomfortable and the rooms were completely different from the pictures. And extremely thin walls, we could hear everything 🥲
