Hotel is run down and feel old. However it is quite clean.

We had dinner at the restuarant and food was horrible. I ate few bite and stop eating.

Very clean, the room recently renovated reception instead remained as it once was and at the entrance it does not make a nice impression staff helpful and polite.

It's old, but the facilities are sparkling clean and the staff is friendly, so it's more comfortable and better than a 4-star hotel. I recommend it.

We loved staying at this hotel, we visited for a week in August (me and my two older boys) and we loved staying here, the hotel was also very reasonably priced. The hotel staff were truly helpful and professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There was room service every day and the breakfast was varied and enjoyable. The only down side was we didn't have tea and coffee in the room but tbh it wasn't that much of big deal since everything else was great. The room was clean, had air con, a safe and wifi. The location was great too, only a short bus ride to the main city centre and there is a supermarket about a ten minute walk from the hotel. If we visited again, I would happily book this place again. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was good, but I would try to find somewhere else to stay in Rome if you can. A few issues: a fire alarm went off frequently during our stay, several times during the middle of the night which woke us up. It was never a real emergency, and we never had to evacuate the building, so we’re not sure what was going on. The beds are very uncomfortable, and in our room, the bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together. One of our rooms had an air conditioner that simply did not work, and when we asked for maintenance on it, the front desk was totally unhelpful and we were told, “that’s just how it is.” After three supposed visits from mechanics, they finally determined the AC was broken and we were moved to a different room. Finally, the WiFi was fully unreliable. Overall, the stay was not pleasant.

Going to Hotel delle Muse is like going back in time. Everything in the hotel is old and a bit outdated. It has a certain charm, but it’s not very practical or appealing. We were in 10 other hotels in the past year, and in comparison this was by far our least experience. If you are not into pastry, breakfast is very limited. And although the hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, it’s very poorly reachable by public transport. The staff is friendly, but they can’t make up for the things that are below standard.

Fabulous find Hotel ,All Staff very friendly Head waiter such a lovely guy ,in fact all staff friendly and helpful. We had a four night stay and had bed and breakfast included. After exploring Rome daily we had our evening meals in the hotel.fantastic meal deal 22euro for 3 courses fantastic steaks,Pastas, Amazing Pizza so much to choose from ,drinks so reasonable, 330ml can peroni 2.00 euro, house red wine 6.00 half litre delicious. Breakfast good selection pastries , fruit , pancake machine, you name it they got it covered.
Found it took an hour walking to most sights following Google maps.
Public buses from hotel easy to find.
All in all if on a budget it's a fantastic hotel for a holiday in rome
