Reviews
During our stay we weren't able to have breakfast due to early visits but the host offered us coffees and croissants to go which was amazing!
The room was very spacey, bathroom was very clean and functional.
Breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast and was very good.
We especially appreciated the service provided by Harrison who manned the reception and served breakfast.
Thank you Harrison, it was a pleasure chatting with you every morning.
We absolutely recommend this place, we will certainly come back!
The location of this accommodation in Rome is truly its only major advantage, it’s conveniently situated for exploring the city. Unfortunately, almost everything else about the stay fell short of expectations.
Getting into the building was the first challenge. The entrance requires a long code, and retrieving the key felt unnecessarily complicated; it seemed as though they assumed guests were already familiar with the layout of the building. The elevator is so narrow I felt a semi-panic attack trying to use it, and once you exit, you’re met with a steep, narrow staircase leading to the attic room.
The room itself was incredibly austere: just a bed, a wardrobe, and a desk, all furnished with cheap pieces that offered no comfort. The bathroom was unremarkable at best. What really disgusted me was that at some point, a big fat bug crawled out from under the bed, absolutely unacceptable and left me feeling very uncomfortable for the rest of the stay. To make matters worse, I could constantly hear birds through a crack in the ceiling, a gap they generously call a window.
Breakfast was underwhelming: a pile of croissants, a stale crostata, some cold cuts that were unappetizingly warm, and coffee that you could only get by asking the receptionist. The setup for breakfast, awkwardly placed right next to reception, felt more like an afterthought than a welcoming start to the day.
On the positive side, the receptionist was kind and helpful, and I appreciated that they arranged a taxi for me.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation, especially not for families with children, older guests, or anyone who is even slightly claustrophobic. There are certainly better options in Rome for a comfortable and stress-free stay.
Generous breakfast
All round a great place to stay
