The welcome was wonderful — we were greeted with a cold towel and a delicious hibiscus drink. The lobby always smelled amazing, and the rooms had a lovely scent too. Every day, they offer free light snacks from 3 to 5 PM, and they also provide free shuttle service for hotel guests to Patong Beach and Central Patong Mall.
The rooms are very spacious, clean, and bright. The hotel building itself is new, modern, and very clean. I didn’t try the breakfast myself, but my 6-year-old daughter did and told me there weren’t many options.
As for the staff, I found them a bit cold and lacking in hospitality. They don’t seem to have the skills to engage with guests — it felt like they were just following instructions like robots. I requested a late checkout until 3 PM since my flight was at night and I had booked two rooms, but unfortunately, they refused. After many attempts, they finally agreed to let me keep just one room.

Mövenpick Hotel is in a perfect location in Patong, Phuket — just a short walk to the beach and super convenient for getting around. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with detailed housekeeping every single day. Having both a bathtub and a shower in the room was definitely a plus!
The pool was clean and relaxing, and the pool bar was a great place to enjoy some downtime. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had an issue with our flight tickets, and the team kindly made the calls for us and helped solve the problem — we’re really grateful.

Rooms are nice and food served were all plated beautifully. Given a room with a good view of the entire hotel with pool access. Very popular pool it seems with afternoon crowd and drink parties.

The hotel location was good and the service overall was good too. My partner and I really enjoyed the breakfast menu and especially the fresh juice section plus the daily chocolate hour.

A good hotel, located within easy reach of central Patong. We stayed here as a family of three. We booked the Family Room, which has two bedrooms. The room was great, two bathrooms, really comfortable beds. The only issue we had with the room was that we found it a bit noisy. I think initially we were unlucky with particularly noisy neighbours, but we could hear people walking past our room very clearly - nothing major, but a good soundproof door would help.
Pool was lovely, it does have limited beds, but there was only one day during our stay they were all taken. The Kids Club is small, but was never very busy - the lady there, Pang, was lovely and really good with our son.
The majority of staff were very friendly, and greeted you with a smile. 3pm chocolate was a nice touch. I also read a few reviews about check-in being a bad experience - we arrived early in the morning and the staff checked us in quickly and were able to get our room ready for us before the official check-in time - thank you. After a long flight, that was very much appreciated.

Hospitality at its finest. The efforts and hearts of every single staff member at the hotel, from the security guards and reception staff to the kitchen crew, made us feel so welcome every time. The breakfast spread was wide and delicious, and I loved the ice cream counter! Your chef(s) made an eggcellent Benedict! The room was clean and spacious, with beautiful interior design. I also loved the tub, as the water was hot and filled up quickly!

Unfortunately, I experienced very bad service. The power circuit breaker in the room was disconnected late at night for a long time without any clear reason the issue was not addressed properly due to delays in the time and unprofessional handling by the
