Ramada by Wyndham Old City Hotel

We had the pleasure of staying at Ramada Old City Istanbul for about a week and a half, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with everything you might need for a pleasant stay. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping our room spotless every day, and we always came back to a fresh and cozy space.

What truly made our stay special, however, was the staff. Everyone we met was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming — they really made us feel at home. A very special thank you goes to Samet at the reception. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with a smile and helping us with any questions or requests.

We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and great service, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. We’ll be happy to stay here again next time!

Stayed in Istanbul for a few days - this qas an excellent choice.

Location: Relatively close to Grand Bazaar and Hagia Sofia ( couple of tram stations -6-7)

Facilities: excellent - the matresses got me sleeping like a baby.

Parking: either at the hotel (a few spots) or in the two parking lots around the building (extra fee for that).

Book without hesitation..

The front office staff is excellent and very efficient. Especially, the front office manager Fatma and Ahmed ensuresd that everything went smoothly. They were very cooperative and we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.

This is my second time staying in this hotel because of how wonderful it is! The location is wonderful and right beside the tram station which allows you to reach the downtown. The rooms are nice and clean and very fresh. The staff is also amazing, they are very kind and helpful and most definitely welcoming. A special thanks to both Semet and Saut for their kindness and welcoming, as well as housekeeper Mediha for how sweet and helpful she is. This stay was beyond amazing and it is definitely worth it.

I stayed in a standard twin room and overall had a comfortable experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and fluent in English.

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The bed is very comfortable. However, the gym/fitness area was closed, which was a bit disappointing since it was advertised.

I had breakfast with my room, but it was very basic and nothing special in taste, definitely not the highlight of the stay.

The location is great for public transport, though it can get a little noisy if you’re sensitive to that.

Value for money is slightly below expectations due to the closed gym and basic breakfast, but otherwise, the stay was satisfactory. Some issues with room service included not refilling shampoo/conditioner and some stains in the toilet that weren’t addressed even after multiple room service days.

Overall, the hotel has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, and I would recommend it if the price is reasonable. For higher-priced stays, they should improve breakfast quality and ensure the gym is operational.

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, great location. Special shout out to the staff, particularly Semih and Abdullah, who made sure our stay was hassle free. Kind gentlemen with excellent customer service.
Location is literally in front of fendikzade tram station with a lot of bus options as well. Travelling on public transport was a breeze. Good food options in the area.
Housekeeping was excellent. Cleaned the rooms daily, and it was thorough.

the ironing board is broken, the ironing surface is burnt - the iron stained the shirt, the breakfasts are poor, there is no soundproofing in the room - you can hear everything that happens on the street

booking process was very easy. hotel is amazing, staff is very good and cooperative. House keeping is exceptionally great and specially the house keeper Ms Seher did an excellent job. she keeps the room nice and clean and very friendly and respectful behavior. Highly recommended

We really liked our stay at the hotel. The restaurant was very neat and clean. We enjoyed the large breakfast, full of nutritious elements like fresh veggies and a bunch of dry fruits and nuts. My family enjoyed our time here. Special shout out to the staff who were kind and helpful throughout our stay! The manager dincer and berna were very helpful to us! Would love to stay again!
