We spent 3 nights here and was really welcoming. We had a small.terrace. the cleaners were great and even folded my pyjamas neatly after making the bed. Fresh towels were given daily. It was homely and the reception staff were very helpful and take the time to find out guest requirements. Breakfast was a mix of continental and Turkish cuisine. The catering staff were friendly and helpful. Yes I would recommend as located centrally and easy to walk to different attractions.

Super good location. Good breakfast. Room a bit noisy, close to the street and we could hear the mosque for every prayer. Welcoming staff, overall good service. there is a spa but only allowed to use for the extra charge - that's not written on the booking.com. There is a gym in the basements. Small but functional. We would come again.

There is a reason why this hotel is highly rated and its not possible to write out every little thing. For me, the best part about this hotel is the staff, everyone from the front reception, to the chauffeur, the attendees at breakfast, and even the housekeeping staff. They are all so very nice and take the time to ensure that your stay is going well and ensure that you don't need anything else. We asked for some information on check in and the front staff took 15 min to explain everything in the area, all the closest attractions, and give us information about excursions that could be booked through the hotel.

I've just had 2 of my 5 nights at the Aprilis up to now, I can't believe how lovely the hotel is, the staff must be some of the best I've met..and believe me, I've done some travelling. The rooms are spot on with everything you need. The breakfast is great...could do with a better choice of fruit, but that's my personal opinion..not everyone wants fruit. The room top terrace is so relaxing at the end of a busy sightseeing day. I've noticed quite a few are stopping of the cruise ships. It's about a 10 to 25 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and right in the heart of umpteen bars, coffee shoos and restaurants.
Hand on heart it's a fantastic hotel.
I'm just sat in the Mar Kebab restaurant across the road from the hotel....gorgeous decor, very reasonably priced and the food...very tasty served up by Hamza....wow.

Location is perfect. Steps away from the tram stop. Short walks to major sites. Incredible breakfast. The staff could not be more attentive and helpful. They go over and above basic service. Shower is small. Beds very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet. Highly recommend

Great location!
This is a smaller hotel conveniently located in the old city. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They gave us great information which made it easy for us to make our plans on what to visit and where to eat. We could walk to most everything including the Blue Mosque.
The hotel is clean and nice. There is a wonderful bar upstairs with great views. The rooms are good size and quite comfortable. We loved having a room where we could look out on the street and feel connected to the area.
We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff in an excellent location: just a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. Fabulous breakfast buffet with a range of Turkish salad options etc. - and a lovely roof terrace where we could enjoy the sunshine in the late afternoon and look out over the sea. Only (small) problem was that the single beds were a bit narrow! All in, extremely good value.

We had a really great time staying at the Aprilis Hotel. The staff looked after us so well, with such courtesy and kindness. The rooms were very clean and comfortable; the hotel was very central for all of our sightseeing; the breakfasts were plentiful; and the views from the rooftop bar were incredible. The hotel is on the main tram route, with only 10 minutes walk down the hill to Haggia Sophia and the Basilica Cisterns. We stayed here for 12 nights and found plenty to do in and around the city. The staff greeted us with Turkish tea on arrival,. and brought complimentary drinks to our room one night.The breakfast staff were super helpful, and the reception staff were a great help in helping us plan our sightseeing. I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is very good. 50 meters to the subway station, which you can use to get to everything. The hotel itself was OK. Nothing earth-shattering. Service is really great.

Less at the counter for late risers.
Shower is really very small, almost no space.
Acceptable for a few days. I advise everyone to book a room with a window facing the street.
The interior rooms are very, very small, no windows, dark and oppressive.
The hotel has a small roof terrace, not bad.
