DoubleTree By Hilton Istanbul - Old Town

Amazing location, right next to the train station that made the entire city so easily accessible.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the terrace room so the morning views were beautiful and it was great to experience the city right from the room!

The best part by far was the service, which is what made the entire stay. Murat at the front desk made sure we knew how to work the trains, I made a mistake with the booking and he worked with us to fix it, and was so cheerful and kind for the entire process. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, Murat!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. A special thanks to Gonca and Mehmet, kitchen employees and room Service that I didn’t catch all their names but their hospitality made my stay even more memorable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and I literally said “wow” when I saw the variety and quality of the spread. Meanwhile, the hotel’s location is fantastic, as it’s within walking distance to many of Istanbul’s iconic historical sites. Love from 🇺🇸

This was the first time to stay at Double Tree by Hilton and I really enjoyed my stay for many reasons. Rate was very reasonable for the room and bed size, location, facilities and quality of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they were also flexible and tried to solve a couple of issues promptly. Tram station was just opposite the hotel, wifi was very good, toilets were clean, two lifts were available. So, overall I’m very satisfied with this hotel.

The hotel location is just amazing close to all the touristic sites, the rooms are comfortable and very clean.
The breakfast is WONDERFUL and the restaurant team are all great.
The FO staff are all great unfortunately I did not catch all the names however they were all helpful and willing to provide the best customer service.
Gonca is an AMAZING person, she is always smiling, very professional and willing to provide any help or support.
Her customer service exceeds the expectations.
I need to mention Murat from maintenance team who was very helpful and fixed the issue we had in the room very quick and professionally.
This hotel will be always my first choice whenever I am visiting Istanbul.

I’m going to give this a bit of a different review, as no one ever talks about tbe gym in the hotel, so for all you gym rats out there, this one is for you.

The gym is located on the bottom floor of the hotel (3 floors underground). It contains three running machines, and two cross trainers. There is one bar bell (has a slightly weird clamp), which I estimate to weigh about 15kg, there is only 7.5kg and 5kg weights for the bar bell, so makes it hard to do weird smaller weights in the gym. There is a good collection of free weights, starting at 2.5kg, going up in 2.5kg intervals to 20kg (aka, 2.5kg, 5kg, 7.5kg, 10kg, 12.5kg, 15kg and 20kg). There is a bench for the bar bell and another free standing bench, which can be moved (it was insanely tall but worked).

Overall this is a good hotel gym for maintaining some training away but not the place you are going to make gains.

The best bit is the gym is open 24 hours a day and I genuinely don’t think many people actually ever used it.

The hotel is great, well located, the staff are lovely and the food was good. My only small complaint is it’s very dark, not much natural light getting in, but not a deal breaker!

Gym goers, would recommend some time in this hotel.

What a lovely trip I had in Istanbul especially at this hotel. The service, rooms and food were amazing. I had such a comfortable stay at this hotel in Istanbul, and I will definitely book at the hotel when I come again. Gonca who was one of the staff at the reception was of great help. She really helped us with anything that we needed and understood English properly which was of great help. She was friendly and assisted us whenever in need. She was as great as the hotel.

If you want a clean and comfortable stay in Istanbul which is close to all the main attractions then this is the hotel I would recommend. The rooms are spacious and toiletries and water provided. The breakfast was also good too!
A special mention to Gonca Karahan and Murat for making us feel so welcome when we first checked in and at breakfast. Thanks for your hospitality and smiles. Also the Rooms Manager Serkan Duygan was fantastic when we needed an extra night stay, he sorted it immediately and was just so helpful! I will definitely be back!

This hotel is excellent and is in a great location! The staffs are all mostly very kind and friendly. A special shout out to Gonca and the breakfast team they were all amazing. I will surely be returning back with my family.

This hotel truly represents what Turkish culture is about, the staff are incredibly polite and helpful in any requests that were made even if it was inconvenient nothing was ever a problem, from the housekeeping team, reception, barber & security staff it was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Location is brilliant, all the main attractions within walking distance, tram lines, e scooters etc. Breakfast is one of the best I've had with a perfect mix of foods, best honeycomb I've ever had. Special shout out to Gonca K who would always somehow know what you're after before you ask! She's a star. Also the night supervisor Ugur S is an incredible man, he is an asset to this hotel with his great attitude and willingness to speak with guests and make great suggestions even in the middle of the night! He's an absolute gentleman. Thank you all the staff for making our stay incredible and see you again in the future!!

The hotel staff was exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Gonca Karahan with guest relations was especially nice and helpful. They make you feel special and welcomed. The location was great. Easy to walk around and the tram stop was right outside the hotel. We had a corner balcony room. The balcony was big and the view was very nice.
