There was a woman crying, with a hospital wristband and only her passport. The story was unclear and may well have had complications, but I was surprised by how the manager handled it.
He refused to call the police or the embassy, even though she clearly needed some sort of official help. He simply said he would “wait for her to leave,” which didn’t feel appropriate. His comment about “Russian women” also made me uncomfortable as I am Russian myself.
I understand that not every guest situation is straightforward, and I don’t excuse the behaviour of that woman if she caused trouble before. But the way it was handled — openly, in front of other guests, without any professional procedure — felt wrong and created an unpleasant atmosphere.
Besides this, the hotel was very good, although the swimming pool is quite small.
Couldn't catch the name but the gentleman at reception (night shift) was so helpful. He even offered us an upgraded room without asking.
And last thanks to Aqib for airport taxi dropoff.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding hospitality during our stay at room ( 1305 ) recent stay. For my cousin , From the warm welcome to the exceptional service, every detail was truly appreciated.
The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Reception team Omar and HK team was amazing Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and it made my visit even more enjoyable.

I stayed at Oryx Hotel in Abu Dhabi and was really impressed by how big the rooms were. The space was perfect for relaxing after a long day, with large beds, comfortable seating, and a big, clean bathroom that had everything I needed.
The location is also a huge plus—just a short walk to the Corniche and close to shops and restaurants. It was easy to get around, and the area felt safe and convenient.
Some parts of the hotel could use a bit of updating, but overall, it was clean, comfortable, and a good value for the price. I’d definitely consider staying here again.
