Ramada Downtown Abu Dhabi

THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL EVER..
1ST WE EXPERIENCED A POOR HOSPITALITY ESPECIALLY IN THE RECEPTION THE GUY THEIR IS VERY RUDE.
MY RELATIVES FROM CANADA BOOKED US A ROOM LAST JULY 5 2024 BECAUSE WE ARE IN THE SITUATION THAT OUR BUILDING WAS BLAST LAST JULY 4 IN THE EVENING 10PM SO WE HAVE ANYTHING CARRIED BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPEN TO US SO OUR RELATIVES FROM CANADA DECIDE TO BOOKED US NEAR IN OUR BUILDING USING MY FRIEND'S EMIRATES I.D HE BOOKED 2 PERSON IN 1 ROOM AND PAID FOR 2000CANADIAN DOLLAR FOR 3 DAYS INCLUDING FOOD BUT SUDDENLY WHEN WE GOT AT RAMADA THE RECEPTIONIST AND MANAGER TOLD US ONLY ONE PERSON WILL ALLOWED TO CHECK IN BECAUSE SHE'S ONLY THE ONE WHO HAVING A EMIRATES I.D AND THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING ME TO GO INSIDE BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE EMIRATES .. SO I EXPLAIN TO THEM HOW CAN I GIVE EMIRATES IF ALL MY THINGS IS IN OUR BUILDING AND TOLD TO THEM THAT BUILDING WAS BLAST OF ..
THEY HAVE NO COMMON SENSE HOW I SUPPOSED TO USE MY FRIENDS EMIRATES I.D IF I HAVE. THEY DID'NT CONSIDERATE OUR SITUATION..

REALLY A BAD EXPERIENCE

We had a horrible customer service experience with the receptionist Veronica (Filipino national). She has zero customer service skills and was very arrogant. We arrived at the hotel a bit early and all we requested was to leave our luggage and come back for check-in later. We didn’t even ask for an early check-in.

She kept saying, “Your room is not ready yet.” I said, “Yes, we know. All we need is to leave our luggage.”

Finally, we met staff member Ajimond, who assisted us in leaving our bags. He also went above and beyond by providing us with an exchange room, towels, etc. Ajimond also provided really good information about tourist attractions and transport options.

Our first impression was horrible due to Veronica’s attitude, but staff members Ajimond, Trojan, and Mahesh were really helpful and made us comfortable.

We are planning to visit Abu Dhabi in six months’ time; however, we would not stay at Ramada Downtown due to the bad customer experience we had with Veronica.

Apart from Veronica’s attitude, the hotel facility is really good and the hotel room is large enough. It is also close to some restaurants.

It was a worst stay at ramada abudabhi. They are charging us more money by telling us that you have used mini bar. And showing us fake videos that it's open and that .

The staff was worst Abhijit , tida and Riya. They are accusing us and we haven't .

Pls be aware , they are looting people who are coming from other countries.

The staff is pleasant and helpful, the restaurant menu is good, as is the taste and quality of the food, but the hotel itself requires (craves for) renovation.

Rooms are very old. TV is just a showpiece. Being from India the power sockets were not compatible and they don’t have USB ports for charging. Breakfast was very basic and food was very expensive. They charged 10% service charge without informing me.
If you are from India, definitely not recommended. Except location no other benefit this hotel can be thought of.
Swiming pool can’t be used even for kids too.
