Golden Sands 5 in Dubai

Absolutely brilliant hotel for the money paid. My wife and I stayed in a studio flat. Everything was beautifully clean, the studio apartment has a kitchenette with fridge freezer, cooker, toaster, microwave, washer dryer, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, safe and all required crockeries and cooking utensils. The bed was huge and comfortable with sink in pillows. The bedside cabinets have build in charging ports and power sockets. We also had a large modern smart tv to which I was able to connect my phone for screen mirroring. The hotel also has a swimming pool on the 7th floor and you can also use the swimming pool, gym and sauna in its sister hotel Golden Sands 3. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here in the future.

I had a fantastic dining experience here! The food is absolutely incredible, but the real star of the show is Chef Yogesh Kumar. You can really taste the skill and passion in his cooking. The Butter Chicken was rich and creamy, and the Chicken Curry had the perfect balance of spices. Don't miss the Dal—it’s pure comfort food. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. Rooms are very spacious, well maintained with a supply of clean linen and amenities. Service is good. I would like to appreciate Chandan who maintained my room very clean.
Common area is clean but looks ordinary.

Location is a bit far from metro but taxis are easily available. We can walk to metro station and Karama in winter but summer would be difficult.

I recently stayed at the Golden Sands 5 Hotel Apartments in Bur Dubai, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless.

Location:
The location is absolutely perfect. It is situated right in the heart of Bur Dubai, making it incredibly easy to get around. There are also plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies nearby, which is very convenient.

Rooms:
The room was surprisingly spacious and spotless. Since these are hotel apartments, having a kitchenette with a fridge and washing machine was a huge bonus, especially for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping team did a great job of keeping everything clean and fresh daily.

Service:
The staff really stood out during my stay. The reception team was welcoming and efficient. They were always smiling and ready to assist with any request.

Breakfast:
The breakfast buffet was another highlight of our stay. There was a wide variety of options available, ranging from fresh fruits to delicious hot dishes. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and catered to different tastes, making for a great start to our mornings.

Overall, Golden Sands 5 offers incredible value for money. It combines the comfort of an apartment with the service of a hotel. I would definitely recommend this place to families, business travelers, or anyone looking for a comfortable base to explore Dubai.

Stayed in Studio Deluxe Room Exclusive ( Booked from GoIbibo.com) in Golden Sands 5 Hotel Apartments. Got twin beds as requested. It's a furnished apartment in excellent residential calm peaceful locality. It's actually a very good, cost-effective room.

Let me tell you in detail what and all things were there in the room : Twin beds, Air conditioner, Television 50 inches, 2 bedside tables, 1 center table, 2-seater sofa, Full size mirror, Washing machine (new model- whirlpool 6-8Kg), Stove with 2 burners, Sink, 4 small spoons and forks, 4 big spoons, 4 ladles, 4 plates, 4 cups, 2 cooking vessels, 2 serving vessels, 2 clothes drying stands, iron box and stand, toaster, locker, hair dryer, Basic bathroom essentials like towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, kettle, coffee/tea sachets, sugar sachets, creamer sachets, Dinner table with chairs, microwave oven, fridge.

There is a supermarket just opposite to it. If you want to cook basic food, there are options. You can order food/ groceries from Talabat also.

Breakfast : Very good spread ( Mix of English, Egyptian, Arabic and Indian)

Cons:

1. Service was not great. You have to call 10 times to get the coffee refilled. I asked for somebody to give me assistance on how to use that stove, but nobody came.
2. The bathroom is very very small. But you are not going to settle in there. You are just for a vacation. So you can adjust .

Having said that, I would really like to stay again :)

Great stay with all the basic amenities and courteous staff. We enjoyed our stay, enjoyed the breakfast, my daughter enjoyed the small play area as well. The hotel has everything you need for a short vacation.
