The architecture feels timeless with its serene courtyards featuring ponds, intricate tiles, and soft lighting. The Only & Only is the best Dubai example in how to express luxury in a subtle way; the hotel provides a genuine sense of tranquility rather than the typical exaggerated style associated with fancy hotels.
I usually go for lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants, and they never disappoint. Prices vary depending on the place, but for the setting and quality, I find it worth it. One time we just came for coffee and ended up staying hours by the garden.
Service? Always on point. From valet to the staff at the restaurants, everyone seems to know how to make things easier without being too much. They even have good self-parking if you’re not in the mood for valet
If you’ve never been, just go. Whether it’s for a stay or a special meal or just a quiet drink with a view this hotel never feels rushed or crowded. It’s like Dubai slowed down in the best way.
It didn’t change my 5 stars but honestly based on others reviews and my experience - it’s something that it easily fixed.

The beach area was a definite highlight — beautifully maintained, peaceful, and staffed by a team that clearly cares about guest comfort.
But the standout aspect of our stay was the service, particularly at The Rotisserie restaurant. A very special thank you to Hillary and Tony, who went above and beyond to make our breakfast experience memorable. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality really elevated our time at the resort.

Every staff member we encountered, whether at the front desk, around the pool or in one of the restaurants, was friendly, attentive, and eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Special shout out to Tony and to Hillary who were the stand out superstars.
The housekeeping staff were also commendable, maintaining an impeccable standard of cleanliness throughout our visit.

The overall service is very good. Special thanks to Supun at the reception and Ayusha at the housekeeping. Their service was very thoughtful during the stay, and you can feel that they are really helping the guests.
We were arranged on the first floor of the Arabian Courtyard. As soon as the floor-to-ceiling glass door opened, there was a large lawn. A few steps away was the breakfast room, swimming pool and beach. It was very convenient to go anywhere. I like it. I will recommend it to every friend who is going to Dubai for vacation.
