The location in Barsha Heights is very convenient, with the metro just a short walk away and easy access to Dubai Marina, JBR and the Palm. A big advantage is the outdoor pool with regulated water temperature depending on the season, which makes it enjoyable all year round, as well as the gym and the paddle court — a nice bonus if you like staying active. The hotel also provides shuttle buses to JBR beach and the Outlet Mall, which is very practical.
Overall, this is a well-managed, comfortable hotel that works equally well for long business stays and for leisure trips. I would happily stay here again.
The pool is good and well located for good sunshine through the day.
The rooms are good, large in size and well laid out and well equipped. The rooms do need some refurbishing.
The location is excellent, easy to get on to Sheikh Zayed road and Al Khail road. Great for business and leisure travellers.
Breakfast had a wide selection and was delicious; the pool was a highlight (well-maintained, plenty of clean loungers) and the gym had good equipment. I truly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay with good rooms, convenient location, and exceptional service.
We arrived earlier than 15:00 your check in time, hence we went shopping and came back to hotel around 15:30
We were waiting for room maybe 10 more minutes before received out room keys
When we were approaching our room, 617 engeneering and housekeeping were leaving room at the same time
After entering the room, there was a strong smell of paint from bathroom, I went to open balcony to refresh air and check out the view.
Balcony was dusty and I went to wash my feet in bathtub which happened to be freshly painted and that's where smell was coming from.
Moreover there was no warning and my feet was in the paint
After I called guest service, explained the situation and for some reason they send engeneering, for what? Repaint again?!
Then I called again and asked to talk to either duty manager, hotel manager or GM
Reception called back and said housekeeping supervisor will come to our room
I also showed him cigarette ashes which was left under the bed.
He was polite and helped us to change room, which took about one more hour
So around 17:00 we finally got to our room, 2 hours after the stated check in time by hotel!
There were no further apologies. Just clean room same category.
At the same time I would like to point out welcoming staff at the pool bar, they took care of us.
