The hotel has plenty of facilities, staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet had lot's of choice of cold and hot items, the spa was nice with an outdoor hot tub. Stayed here in Mar 24, there is plenty of accommodation in Bansko so it is a bit of a lucky dip. Hotel is well located for the main gondola station. The rooms are very 80's and basic, we had an apartment so thought we could cook something simple or at least make a hot drink in the 'kitchen'. Very well positioned, very close to the gondola and far from the noise of the center. The food is good. The rooms are clean. Overall, should be invested because you can see the passage of time and some things are a bit degraded. The elevator requires maintenance, it gives you the impression that it can break down at any time.

We had a two-day family break there, at Christmas in a really spacious two-room apartment. We enjoyed the extra space and the view to the mountains. We paid for half board so we ate dinner as well as breakfast. The hotel was clean, the service was good but the food was always cold no matter the time. I went for the weekend for a surprise for my boyfriend, the staff is really kind, I asked if they can put a small card with happy name day and they did it which was very nice of them. Stayed there for a company event. Rooms were very nice decorated and clean. Restaurant is well organized and the food is tasty. Very nice and flexible personnel. The hotel manager was always there when we needed her. The hotel has spacious parking outside and indoor underground parking.

Beautiful grand hotel with luxurious furnishings, just like the one in The Shining but this one has only nice ghosts. Nice hotel generally. The room was big and comfortable. The spa services were great, but the stairs out of the pool were full of water and slippery. Also, there was a broken tile out of our bathtub. Apart from these, the breakfast was great with a big variety of products and the staff was very kind. Not everyone from the staff knew English, so it wasn't really easy to communicate.

A cheap and easy hotel in Bansko. No thrills and breakfast is suspect but you can’t really complain given our room was less than a tenner each per person. You can walk to the ski lift but they provide a free shuttle too.

Solo traveller. I stay in a one bed apartment and was thankful for the air-conditioning as it was hot outside. Plenty of room for one person and there was a view of the mountain from the windows. I had to buy some microwave cookware as there was no specific items of that kind in the apartment but that was the only thing that let the place down.

The Green Wood hotel is a great place to stay. Me and my husband stayed at the hotel for two nights and everything was brilliant, staff were lovely and professional, the room was very nice, the food was excellent. It was a huge pleasure to be guests of the Green Wood Hotel.

It’s not what it used to be few years ago. Prices have gone significantly up, the level of service have reduced. Food is mediocre, there are cracks on the walls, wallpapers are torn, carpets with stains.

Hotel good value for money. Location is great just a short walk to gondola. The staff are the best asset for this hotel nothing is too much bother for them .Food is ok for what you pay. 4 star for the 3 star hotel. It is 3 star hotel, but the staff was helpful all the time. The ski bus was driving daily no matter that for 2 days I was the only passenger. The food was classic Bulgarian nothing special. Jacuzzi sometimes was hot sometimes was cold they did not care to fix it.

Very cozy place not far away from the lifts. The staff is really friendly and there to help you. But you should take notice that while in your room you can hear other visitors, and the rooms aren't that clean (plus our room wasn't cleaned daily). But if you don't mind these issues then it's the perfect place for your vacation.

I have stayed twice at apartments in this block. The positive is that its located very close to the gondola, there are plenty of supermarkets and rental for skis in the block. The only negative for the hole block was that the last time the heaters didnt work and we only used air conditioning.

Haven’t bothered reading the low reviews, as far as I can tell this place is terrific. Low budget, nice room and extremely convenient for the Gondola. If i ever came back to Bansko this place would be well on the agenda to book for a low budget, convenient stay.
