A wonderful place to spend a wonderful time with your loved ones. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms are very clean. The SPA center is amazing offering hot tubs, pool, sauna, steam baths

Nice studio, good breakfast, full working spa! The hotel is going through renovation, one section every time, without disturbing the functionality of the other open sections

One of the best places I’ve been! Friendly staff, spacious rooms and delicious meals are just one of the perks! There are many indoor and outdoor pools! Would have been nice to have more trips to the spa and unfortunately the places on the bus are limited. Make sure to reserve in advance. For skiing, the hotel has a free shuttle to the gondolas every 30 minutes

The banya spa was very pleasant and relaxing after a long day of skiing with free bus from and to organized by the hotel (free entry if you stay more than 5 nights)

We’ve stayed here several times with our family and absolutely love this place. The rooms are clean, the service is excellent, and the location is great with an amazing view

The hotel was great and it provided us with everything we needed. They offer bug choice when it comes to breakfast and everything is warm and delicious. We also used their swimming pool and sauna and we'll be coming back

At least they weren't rude as was the case with other venues, restaurants and e. == Location == 4/5 The hotel is pretty far away from the center which makes walking to and from locations pretty hard

The bathroom is nice and the bathtub itself was roomy enough for two people. Plenty of hot water as well which I personally love. The bathroom trashcan hadn't be emptied when we arrived

I would like to especially mention the employee named Tsvetelina, charming, always with a pleasant smile and great kindness. Tsvetelina!!! The food in the restaurants is excellent and the service

The reception was welcoming and efficient, and the pool area was fantastic—well-maintained and the perfect spot to relax. However, one thing that bothered us was the lack of enforcement of the restaurant’s dress code

My wife and I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel in Bansko, and while most of the experience was exceptional, we traveled after our wedding and in the room there was a bottle of bubbly wine and chocolate that made our day! First, the breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10

Try it, you'll see! The spa has 4 different types of sauna(!), steam and snow rooms, IR therapy rooms, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi and also the first time I saw poolside loungers the size of double beds perfect for couples

The egg station was a standout, with fresh and perfectly prepared dishes each morning. The variety and quality were excellent. We were served by Darko during dinner, and he was truly exceptional

Thank you, we will be happy to return to this hotel. There are not enough electrical outlets in the room, these days we all have cell phones, computers, tablets, electric toothbrushes and more

In-house restaurant and in 10 min walking several quality restaurants with traditional cuisine. Try the Japanese or conventional massage or cosmetic treatment

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views! Tastefully decorated apartments and villas. Spa and pool are great - the pool is excellent for children and people who can’t swim as it’s not deep. The jacuzzi has mountain views

It’s not what it used to be few years ago. Prices have gone significantly up, the level of service have reduced. Food is mediocre, there are cracks on the walls, wallpapers are torn, carpets with stains.

Clean SPA and warm water in the pools. Food at the restaurant is delicious and has enough options. Swimming clothes and accessories in the Spa area, which is a plus if you come unprepared and/or with a small kid

One year ago the restaurant was much better, maybe when the cold season will come they will diversify to attract more tourists. Final mention, all staff very friendly and helpful

The staff are all friendly and helpful. Our room got cleaned every day. The spa is just amazing especially the relaxing room with the heated spa bed and automatic soothing music. Food was very delicious and fresh

The only bad part was a lack of variety at the restaurant, only one page of menu and only 4 main courses, all grill/meat based. And no alternative in the neighborhood

Everything good except they don’t fix your room when you walk in the room. It’s warm. Everything is unplugged. You have to plug everything. The breakfast is the best will definitely come back.

Staff couldn't be more helpful. Bus to lifts very handy, but note they leave from the carpark to the left of the gondola exit, not the main bus bit. Eaten in both restaurants so far and both are great

You can find many amenities here. Playroom for kids with local babysitter. Spa and pool - world-class level. You also have 3 restaurants in the perimeter, one of which is the hotel's dining room

So be prepared to be flexible. This relates to the hotel and all nearby restaurants alike!

The hotel is awesome! Nice crew, nice bar and very kind service. They have awesome breakfast and dinner, they have a sauna and a pool. Also you can pay a bit for ping pong or billiard

Such a nice hotel right next to old town too, the food in the hotel is OK could do with a rethink on combination and level of flavour, but overall really nice place to be.

Bansko is known ski sesort, but is very attractive and beautiful during the summer as well

I pay all inclusive for me and my daughters but we didn't use anything from that because it was too much food for us. The bar in the room is cheap so we use everything from the room

Grand Hotel Bansko exceeded all expectations! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The entire hotel is spotless, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cool

The Ultra All Inclusive offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant, as well a lobby bar with drinks and a lounge bar with drinks and snacks, both accessible most of the day

Not that good on the cleaning side. The apartment that we stayed is located in building "D", it is spacious enough for a family with maximum 2 children

The good thing is that it is next to the pool, and the activity park. Also they lets us stay with our dog

A quite nice hotel that definitely needs renovation! The rooms are spacious bit outdated, the mattresses are quite old and the couch is really hard, my daughter woke up in pain

Be careful if you decide to visit it during summer, there is no air conditioning at all in the hotel nor in the rooms. We were on the 6th floor and the rooms were like a sauna

In conclusion:an overpriced 3 star hotel with a few facilities and surroundings from a 4 star hotel!

Old fashioned hotel, spa lacks a little bit. Great staff and decent meals, the biggest bonus is that the hotel located really close to city center and the gondola which makes things easy.

The lobby looks great not like the rooms that are outdated and a lot of malfunctions including the elevator. The food in the restaurant is decent. The wifi is terrible.

We spent a week over Christmas day at The Lion Hotel. It was amazing. The staff were great, the room was huge and the cleaner did a great job.

Short walk from the gondola lift and main bars and restaurants. Room is kept very clean Pool is small but good. Management are abrupt and seemingly unhelpful but men do convey that lack of emotion in Bulgaria

Great hotel! The food is amazing and the variety everyday is great. Really enjoyed going to the spa after a long day of skiing, good location and close to the gondola. Rooms are spacious and staff are friendly too

Warm and clean hotel with good Food and nice Spa. There are two fireplace în the lobby which are used every evening and make a special atmosphere. The reception team is also great

I’d rather you charge more for the stay and make it all inclusive

+ Tasty Food + Great view from the infinity pool and the restaurant - No air conditioning - We were in Villa 1, and the cleaning ladies room was right below us

The only things that bothered us were the lack of air conditioning (which is going to be fixed soon), the slightly amortised furniture in the rooms and the lack of complimentary coffee in the rooms ( for a 5 star hotel I would expect such a small gesture)

We visited it mainly for the SPA facilities, which are exceptional. The breakfast and dinner are also good - plenty of delicious food for everyone. The rooms are good size with a large bed, but no air conditioner

Katarino is one of the best SPA hotels available in the country. The location is beautiful with an amazing view over the mountain

Breakfast was OK, but no toast, evening meal again was OK, large portions, but no drinks available- we were told water was only for breakfast, the shuttle bus had been replaced with a car which was fine for 2 of us but would have been a problem for any larger groups

We only used two of the bedrooms when we stayed. There is no bath in this apartment. This was a blessing rather than a curse as we prefer showering

The rooms are very nice and they are in Bansko’s style. In some of the rooms there is a fireplace. The big room for 6 people is awesome, especially if it is a maisonette. All rooms have terrace.

We normally stay at 5 star all inclusive beach resorts. We’ve been to Bankso during winter months only. We chucked caution to the wind, and decided to give this place a whirl during September

Very nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms, pretty good service! There is SPA centre with one not too big but clean pool, steam bath, sauna, salt room and Turkish bath. Breakfast is enough tasty but not too variety

What is very important for us, there is children room and playground

Most of the staff is generous, but there should be more employees especially in the restaurant bar. The pools and spa center are great

In contrast to grand hotel bansko, very relaxed atmosphere, you can see the people having fun everywhere thought the hotel, the spa and pools are standard not too fancy or anything, one steam bath one sauna, 2 outside pools and one inside with hot tub

There was a group of kids on a trip in the hotel, they had different eating hours, but they were loud at times and I think the hotel shouldn't give offers to schools for this kind of trips

Outdoor pool should be a little more heated given the fact that it's on a moutain and the temperatures are not that high and it's not always comfortable

Very clean, friendly staff, great comfy lobby space, spa, pool, bar, great location, shuttle bus to and from the gondola, close to old town and it's many restaurants and bars

It also means that it's not going to break the bank if you want to skip dinner in the hotel and eat locally, but you also know that there's a hot meal waiting for you if you want one

Nice Cozy warm rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffet. Huge Ski room if you planning on racing in Bansko Ski area you definitely have space for service etc.

We Stay here everytime we go skiing 5 times up to now very good service staff very good and only a short walk to the ski lifts

Great place to stay look after you nothing to much for them to help you out and only 5 minutes walk to the ski lifts

We never bothered getting the provided minibus to to the gondola station as it's only a five minute walk up the hill - but you're also only a ten minute walk to the old town, so you're perfectly situated

I liked it very much, swimming pool, saunas, gorgeous view from the window. True, on some days the breakfast was cut, but still ok. Free transfer every hour to the ski lift and back

The hotel received 5 stars instead of 4 stars. We live in a suite, of course it's not 5 stars, but clean, with gorgeous views from the window and at breakfast.

(And on foot to it 15 minutes in principle) A little later I'll post a photo. In general, would come back here again. The rooms have a mini kitchen by the way

It was a decent stay, me and two friends had a double floor room with 2 single beds on the first floor and one double bed on the second floor. We slept well, and the breakfast was perfect

We also booked massages at the hotel's spa, which I highly recommend. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, which is a minus and the overall cleanliness of the room could be better

Had an amazing time :) the only thing i didn't like is that the steam room does't have sink and water to pour on the benches. Amazing food

Rooms pretty big and comfortable although a bit outdated. Swimming pool is large but all the area is slippery. Please watch out, almost everyday there is someone falling. Very slow elevators - use the stairs!

Nice hotel, rooms are not that big but okay. Elevators are ridiculously slow ask for a room in a lower floor because you will use the stairs most of the time. Breakfast is fairly poor, dinner is a little bit better
