Where to stay in Bansko

This a very nice hotel at the end of the town. The hotel is remote and overlooking some fields (and sheep). It's quiet and serene. The rooms are well appointed, and the service is top. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and plentiful, I had the best mini Pavlova! The only quibble is that the lobby is too small. But they fully compensate with a welcome drink 😄

It's a lovely hotel. We visited it mainly for the SPA facilities, which are exceptional. The breakfast and dinner are also good - plenty of delicious food for everyone. The most wonderfull holiday we have had in Bansko till now. The kids were pretty happy with they play room, or at least we were. The wife was extremly satisfied with the spa , a trully 5 star services. The rooms need to be upgraded a bit to achieve the level of the lobby and the spa. Over all a nice family holiday we enjoyed this year in Bansko.

Good deal for half term ski. Location a little out of town- but walkable for evenings (head into old town for more local cuisine & to escape the tourist *****). The free hotel bus service was excellent and most welcomed for transfer to slopes with our ski gear. We paid extra for VIP lift passes & didnt regret it! This was an Amazing Holiday in Bansko especially in this Hotel. It was an Excellent stay. Great Staff in which I also have to mention: Georgi, Mitko, Toni. They were really nice and Professional. It seems to lack maintenance and needs some renovation. The Hotel is really at the edge of the village.The walking path from the main road to the hotel at the top is not very safe especially at nighttime. So if one wishes to move around more in the village better choose one of the hotels there, which are pretty much in the same category. Not that good on the cleaning side. The apartment that we stayed is located in building "D", it is spacious enough for a family with maximum 2 children. The good thing is that it is next to the pool, and the activity park. Also they lets us stay with our dog.

If you are looking for a snowboard instructor, Marian Papakoca is the guy. Perfect teacher, even better as a buddy. He made us stand up and drive on our own in just a few hours. Absolutely great guy! The ****** here is also nice, a little bit small but cozy.

It was a real pleasure to be a guest in this wonderful hotel. The room was more than amazing, the whole hotel, all the rooms were warm all the time. For Bulgaria the hotel is of good quality. Delicious food, polite staff. The rooms are already a bit where something in need of repair. Jacuzzi not working. Gym is purely symbolic. To the ski lift 1.2 km away.

Looks premium from the first sight, but it's somewhat poorly maintained. Smells of smoke and dust in the rooms, no central heating (using Air Conditioners for that), not so great meals, diluted with water juices. You could get more for the price paid.

Terrible bed but great breakfast at the hotel. The spa is great and includes many good areas and alternatives, I really enjoyed it prior to Saturday when it became crowded to the point I preferred to avoid it.

Not good value for the money you pay - the apartments are old and need some renovation, the food in the restaurant is average, if you have dinner included they don't even serve water and you have to pay for it. The Spa is small, cold and noisy so not relaxing in any way. We also hired bikes that were very old and didn't have working brakes so it was a struggle to ride them. Only the picturesque view...

Unique atmosphere, excellent view, quick access to the mountains, clean air, lots of activities and great SPA center. Perfect for families. Ideal place to be for a memorable vacation. It's luxurious, but prices are reasonable. A bit understaffed or so it seems at least, but I guess that is understandable given the current situation.

Very well positioned, very close to the gondola and far from the noise of the center. The food is good. The rooms are clean. Overall, should be invested because you can see the passage of time and some things are a bit degraded. The elevator requires maintenance, it gives you the impression that it can break down at any time.

Last time I was here some years ago. The hotel has had a massive upgrade. The rooms are much better, very clean and modern. Only issue in the rooms is the shower drain didn't work good so the water wouldn't flush. I want to thank coach Max, as for me he is the best coach I have seen there. He taught my brother and sister (she is 3 years old) to ski in one training session. It was also quite fun to ski with him and jump on ski jumps. I recommend him to everyone!!!

Great location, great team. the breakfast is above average. The utilities are clean. The thermal area in free and really good. The location is a bit far from the center , 15 minutes by foot. Don't have so much parking around, consider that. The Massage here is nice, good lobby , and average wifi. I do not recommend to take duplex tho, too many stairs, and it's frustrating after a day or two.
