The room was comfortable and clean, but the interior and amenities felt a bit dated and not quite at the 5-star standard I was hoping for. The spa and wellness area was decent, but nothing exceptional

Slightest downside, can be slippy around outside heated pool, but once in the pool it very nice and turns a little magical when snowing

I stayed at Premier Luxury Mountain Resort in Bansko with high expectations, given its name and rating. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I can’t say it lived up to the “luxury” label

Excellent hotel made even better by all the staff, proffessional , friendly, helpful along with a smile. Good value for our stay, booked through Balkan holidays

The same goes for the breakfast — good variety, but average in terms of quality. It felt more like a solid 4-star hotel rather than a true luxury resort

We made use of the spa facilities daily, the pool is small but sufficient. We enjoyed the sauna, steam rooms and hot tub after a long day of skiing. We also enjoyed a wonderful massage

One of the best hotels in Bansko. The location is superb, rooms are spacious and well equipped with all kinds of amenities. The staff and the overall service are exceptional. The spa and the restaurants are excellent.

Torn topper, dust on the headboard of the bed, thick dust on the picture frames in the living room, hair on the topper as well as obvious stains, obvious stains on the bidet, dirty walls in the bathroom, water stains on the mirror, rusty toilet brush container, dirt on the shelf with the glasses, dirt on the shelves, a curtain could not be closed, the sliding door to the walk-in closet was removed...

This one is for those who enjoy walks in the forest, around the town, sitting in restaurants, and relaxing in the spa. The location is excellent, close to a pedestrian street with all its cute restaurants and shops

Mountains and forests surround you. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are spacious. The room has everything you need. The only thing I would improve is the lighting in the room

Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena A wonderful hotel. We were there in September, so my review isn't suitable for skiers

Upon arrival at the hotel we arrived around 10pm which was quite late check in was easy enough however the receptionist seemed to like she didn’t want to do any work!!! However cause we paid for half board she offered us some sandwiches to be brought up to the room which was nice we were on the 3rd floor and there is 1 lift which isn’t exactly the quickest the floor motion lights take a while to turn...

Room, and the toilet, or specifically toilet seat, could be much cleaner. Toilet seat had "desinfected" label on it, but was dirty. Cups left by the kettle still had coffee on them🤢

We've been going to this hotel for 10 years and this was the worst cleaning. This year food was much better than last year. Pool is finally fully renovated (last year it was still work in progress)

The staff were nice and helpful. The spa and pool are a great asset too, along with their staff and good priced treatments. Food was very tasty and a good selection, but if you only like uk food it will not be for you

If you only interested in the minimum place to sleep and have breakfast then choose this places to stay, otherwise look somewhere else! The rooms are bare minimum, we booked one room with a double bed and a second room with two single beds, we got two double beds and forced one of the members to sleep on the couch in the living room, the kitchen is empty and you can't cook anything, they give you ...

The breakfast was amazing, the location a 5 minute walk to the gondola, the pool is open in limited hours (its not that great either). It wasn't a good and relaxing experience for us we can't recommend staying there

Wonderful location and stunning view, spacious studios and nice spa and outside pool. Staff is friendly and the food - amazing! The chef pays personal attention to every client

The food is great. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean, they change everyday your towels and give you what you need. Definitely will come back.

We come here every year for 12 years now and we love it! It feels like home. 😌 We really like the thing that there is a big pool and a bigger spa center.

Meanwhile, the kids enjoyed the pool and playing in the playground. we couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and the staff were exceptionally polite and always willing to help. They suggested activities to do in the area and places worth visiting, which really enhanced our experience

Such a wonderful place in the heart of Bulgaria. Exceptional buffet with high quality service from the staff. But the SPA is the place where the hotel really shines. All kinds of saunas, pools, steam baths etc

There is no comparison to any other hotel in this city. The ATMOSPHERE, the CUISINE, the SPA, the ROOMS - all were beyond my expectations. The food was different for every single meal of the day

The bar area, with real fire is nice and all the staff were friendly and efficient. We stopped a week and the food was excellent every night

First time here at the Lion and I have to say it's amazing, we've stayed in many hotels in bansko but this is bar far the best, lovely room friendly staff great food and it's all hot!! Can't rate it highly enough will definitely be back next year

Our arrival was late and was checked in swiftly with a complementary glass of bubbly and a well received packed lunch, an excellent touch

The rooms are clean, large, and excellent for 2 with all your own gear, we also had a mountain view, which was an added bonus. The facilities are excellent: pool, sauna, spa, mini bus to the Gondola every 25mins etc

For the cost of this hotel, it can not be beaten, I can't see how you could not give it 5 stars?? Proper enjoyed our stay

If I were to add a suggestion, it would be to have the safe deposit boxes in the room instead of at reception

Our friends stayed at a similar apartment in the same building and their pullout sofa was different and very comfortable. We saw poop in the pool and in the jacuzzi

The staff are lovely and there is a very relaxing bar area with great cocktails. The spa is really nice with an outside thermal pool and a sauna which looks over the mountain. We did not eat in the evening

The other is that I think the spa needs dedicated child free times as it often felt like a children’s pool

My son came down with an ear infection and one of us adults got another kind of infection from the pool

The rooms were good and clean, the Spa was great, the treatments we had were profesional, the food was good with a large variety and most of all the staff was very obliging and helpful always smiling and kind

Taking snowboard lessons here was an incredible experience. It was my first time snowboarding, and I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but the instructor made everything so easy to understand

Our first visit to Bansko, with very rudimentary Bulgarian language skills, the staff nevertheless met our every question and need with a smile and a helpful answer

The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was great and the pool and sauna was just what was needed each day after a day on the slopes. We were a family group of 8 and we would all stay here again

The spa / pool area is lovely and clean. You could spend a good few hours relaxing in there. The hotel is just located off the main street with bars and restaurants. 5 minute walk to the gondola too

Jacuzzi out of water and pool covered with tarp - Lazy in-room AC - Small detail but if the hotel TV gives you the opportunity to connect your device to one of its HDMI ports, why the port is the one behind the TV and not the one in the side? So basically you can not connect your device with HDMI

Beautiful hotel! The location is perfect as across the street starts downtown & ski lift is near by! I love the views from the room! Super beautiful! The one downside is the inside accessibility in regards to getting to your room, there are a lot of stairs up & down leading to rooms

Nice stay A very nice stay here, very comfortable bed, all new after a recent refurb. Great pools and gym. My only gripe was that the hot breakfast was not hot, in fact quite cold for some items.

Rooms pretty big and comfortable although a bit outdated. Swimming pool is large but all the area is slippery. Please watch out, almost everyday there is someone falling. Very slow elevators - use the stairs!

The rooms is very warm and clean! Also the food is very delicious we was half bord but sometimes we eat in the restaurants in the town! Me and my partner decided to go for the hammam package and our two kids had one kids massage each

At most you'll find better selection and variety outside. Pool and spa facilities are good. The hotel has a shuttle service but it's only about 10 minutes walk to the gondola

The therapists did an amazing job. The massage, it felt so good and we were very relaxed afterwards. We rentede ski and also we took nice ski instructor from the hotel and we learned very quickly how to ski

If you are looking for a snowboard instructor, Marian Papakoca is the guy. Perfect teacher, even better as a buddy. He made us stand up and drive on our own in just a few hours

Wonderfully refreshed apartments and pool. The sun was shining and the National Park was breathtaking. The hotel/ apartment was first class and looks great after clear investment

Hotel was busy, but plenty of space to sun worship or take a dip in one of its several pools. Staff on the ball and nice and clear

For me it was lovely to have the pool and sauna and a place that was out of town and away from the noisy nightclubs so that we always slept well. Our favorite restaurants were The House and Leonardo

The town of Bansko has grown a lot since I last visited 13 years ago and has a good selection of excellent restaurants and great Apres ski, virtually every venue we went to has some kind of live music at some point in the evening

After reading the reviews on trip advisor I was worried about the trip that I had planned to Razlog, but I was really impressed when I arrived. This hotel has had a refurb and the rooms were of good quality

They were clean comfortable and very warm. The photos are accurate it is a lovely place and of a much higher standard that some places I have stayed in whilst skiing in the alps

This was an Amazing Holiday in Bansko especially in this Hotel. Great Staff in which I also have to mention: Georgi, Mitko, Toni. They were really nice and Professional

The hotel has a pleasant lay out, the breakfast is excellent, the bar is lovely and the food is very good. The spa is good with a small swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms. The only downside is the rooms themselves

The good thing is that it is next to the pool, and the activity park. Also they lets us stay with our dog

The rooms are clean and the location is perfect, giving you peace and quiet, while you are still really close to the town

Besides this, with friends, family, short vacation or just to take your mind off things, coming to this place will be fun and satisfying (for the most part). The restaurant as well as the food was surprisingly quite nice

There is a mini bus that can take you from the hotel to the gondolas but only in the morning so you have to be very careful with the timing or otherwise, if you're late the driver won't wait for you

The service form the reception was very bad. They didn't help us when asking questions and the staff wasn't very pleasant

If you have questions, good luck having them being answered by the staff

Excellent location beside the ski road with car parking. Decent breakfast at the restaurant and spa facilities for apres ski. Not to forget the friendly staff at the reception as well as at the ski rental shop

The pool and spa facilities were great too. If you’re a gym goer like I am, you’ll be disappointed in the gym facilities, but that’s the only thing I could complain about

It will be perfect if the restaurant also serves ala carte menu for dinner with local dishes instead of only set menu catered for British tourist

My family and I stayed at the MPM Hotel Sport for a ski trip over the Easter holidays. The staff were friendly and welcoming and were very helpful when we had any questions

We opted for the half board (breakfast and dinner) and we certainly weren’t left hungry! The buffet breakfast was very comprehensive and we filled up well before the day’s skiing and the evening meal (of 4 courses - salad, soup, main and desert) was certainly enough to re-fill after a full day on the slopes

It has a swimming pool, gym, sports room and a double sauna (only one was working during my stay) attached to the hotel. It's riverside location in Bansko is ideal

For Bulgaria the hotel is of good quality. Delicious food, polite staff. The rooms are already a bit where something in need of repair. Jacuzzi not working. Gym is purely symbolic. To the ski lift 1.2 km away.

We also made good use of the swimming pool and sauna etc, which was great after a days ski-ing. We loved our stay so much that we are booking again for February 2026 and looking forward to staying in the same room

We had a 2 bed apartment which as a family we loved, the food was incredible and there was always so much variety and choice for all of us. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was a problem

We had wonderful views of the mountains from our balcony and the slopes were a short walk away. There was also a really useful minibus which took us to the slopes every morning

We stayed at Katarino Spa Hotel in Razlog, Bulgaria for just one night, and honestly, we wished we had extended our stay

We visited for a second time and didn't leave disappointed! Everything was perfect. Clean rooms, spa and pools, perfect service and very nice hotel staff. And the food is great too with a lot of locally produced products

The staff is very polite, predominantly from Asia, and the housekeepers even cleaned the children's playground, which is a commendable hotel policy! There are many well-built playgrounds for children, and the large area of the complex allows for pleasant walks

There are 3 warm water pools in perfect condition, with a view! The inside pool is big, well maintained, and has perfect temperature. Our family really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful place

We had a 2 day vacation in the hotel. First of all , all areas we saw were cleaned (even some ladies were non-stop moping water near the inside pool)

The view from every corner is amazing and breathtaking! We did a shuttle tour around the golf court, and it was mesmerizing! Our kid had lots of playgrounds to choose from - bouncy castle, inside playground, outside playgrounds, kids cinema

As we stayed during one of the hottest weeks of the year, the room temperature was 28 degrees Celsius and there was no air conditioning. However, it was cool outside at night, and the open window allowed for normal sleep

One of the best things we noticed was the STAFF! EVERYONE was kind, polite, with a smile, always ready to help or cooperate. The personnel always had an eye out for all of our needs

There was even a misunderstanding with the price (my mistake), and the reception team went out of their way to resolve it fairly and offered me a very considerate rate. Their hospitality made a big difference

For the price, you get amazing value – great rooms, a fantastic spa, and outstanding service. Everything was perfect, and I will definitely come back here again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Bansko

Just a fantastic place, with fantastic rooms great views from the Windows. Great time of the evening, great pool, good gym sauna and salt dialky. Very convenient location walk to the centre, swayed walking to the lift

I originally booked just one night at Saint George Hotel, but ended up staying for three nights because the experience was so good

The accommodation and food were very good, the room was very warm, the staff was friendly, the prices were affordable, the spa service was good, the pool was heated, the ski slope was excellent

You have to get up at 7 in the morning to grab a sunbed in the sun. There isn’t enough space outside for more loungers. It wasn’t a horrible experience, but we definitely wouldn’t go back
