I’m sorry to have stolen the title of someone else’s review, but I couldn’t agree more with the person that wrote that this hotel was more like a Premier Inn than a Premier luxury hotel. The most wonderfull holiday we have had in Bansko till now. The kids were pretty happy with they play room, or at least we were. The wife was extremly satisfied with the spa , a trully 5 star services. The rooms need to be upgraded a bit to achieve the level of the lobby and the spa. Over all a nice family holiday we enjoyed this year in Bansko.

Good deal for half term ski. Location a little out of town- but walkable for evenings (head into old town for more local cuisine & to escape the tourist *****). The free hotel bus service was excellent and most welcomed for transfer to slopes with our ski gear. We paid extra for VIP lift passes & didnt regret it! Terrible bed but great breakfast at the hotel. The spa is great and includes many good areas and alternatives, I really enjoyed it prior to Saturday when it became crowded to the point I preferred to avoid it.

Not good value for the money you pay - the apartments are old and need some renovation, the food in the restaurant is average, if you have dinner included they don't even serve water and you have to pay for it. The Spa is small, cold and noisy so not relaxing in any way. We also hired bikes that were very old and didn't have working brakes so it was a struggle to ride them. Only the picturesque view...

Unique atmosphere, excellent view, quick access to the mountains, clean air, lots of activities and great SPA center. Perfect for families. Ideal place to be for a memorable vacation. It's luxurious, but prices are reasonable. A bit understaffed or so it seems at least, but I guess that is understandable given the current situation.

This a very good and new hotel. The staff is very kind. It is very well positioned near the gondola departure, which is confortable for skiing. And above all it is one of the few hotel which can provide VIP skipass which saves you from the unimaginable queues at the entrance of the gondola.

Overall a nice place. Rooms are large, beds are very comfortable. The pool is very nice and the water is warm enough to swim with kids. Didn’t like the attitude of the staff at the restaurant which was the reason for us to look for other places to eat during our stay.

This hotel has always been and remains by far the best in Bansko - the first thing to mention is a very attentive and professional service throughout the hotel, followed by a great choice of different dining venues and a great spa with indoor and outdoor pools. An imposing hotel in an excellent location opposite the main ski gondola. If you are skiing, this hotel is hard to beat with it's own serviced boot room in the basement and you can purchase a VIP lift pass which allows you to skip the infamous Bansko queues (it costs extra but will save you 20mins+ queuing in the mornings). Let's start with negatives: Room housekeeping hit and miss, can be mega late in the afternoon by which time you're busy in the room. The Hotel is really at the edge of the village.The walking path from the main road to the hotel at the top is not very safe especially at nighttime. Not that good on the cleaning side. The apartment that we stayed is located in building "D", it is spacious enough for a family with maximum 2 children. The good thing is that it is next to the pool, and the activity park. Also they lets us stay with our dog.

If you are looking for a snowboard instructor, Marian Papakoca is the guy. Perfect teacher, even better as a buddy. He made us stand up and drive on our own in just a few hours. Absolutely great guy! The ****** here is also nice, a little bit small but cozy.

It was a real pleasure to be a guest in this wonderful hotel. The room was more than amazing, the whole hotel, all the rooms were warm all the time. You have more than enough food for breakfast (I guess the dinner was also good since we had a half board) and the lobby had a special vibe. Looks premium from the first sight, but it's somewhat poorly maintained. Smells of smoke and dust in the rooms, no central heating (using Air Conditioners for that), not so great meals, diluted with water juices. You could get more for the price paid.

This a very nice hotel at the end of the town. The hotel is remote and overlooking some fields (and sheep). It's quiet and serene. The rooms are well appointed, and the service is top. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and plentiful, I had the best mini Pavlova! The only quibble is that the lobby is too small. But they fully compensate with a welcome drink 😄

The pullout sofa was super crooked and uncomfortable and made a terrible noise at the slightest body movement, my baby girl kept waking up every time I sat down or moved in bed. We were a family of 10. We enjoyed all the facilities of the hotel. The rooms were good and clean, the Spa was great, the treatments we had were profesional, the food was good with a large variety and most of all the staff was very obliging and helpful always smiling and kind.

I want to thank coach Max, as for me he is the best coach I have seen there. He taught my brother and sister (she is 3 years old) to ski in one training session. It was also quite fun to ski with him and jump on ski jumps. I recommend him to everyone!!!

Stayed there for a company event. Rooms were very nice decorated and clean. Restaurant is well organized and the food is tasty. Very nice and flexible personnel. The hotel manager was always there when we needed her. The hotel has spacious parking outside and indoor underground parking.

I liked it very much, for the personal they were very nice to us and the view is unbelievable, the room had a stair that is pretty nice and the bathroom clean and made out of glass. Spectacular! I will recommend this hotel to everybody I will hear that they want to go sking in Bulgaria. Loved it!

The hotel amenities were great for both kids and adults! The kids room had a lot to offer and was clean. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The food was extremely delicious, rich and even a nice variety for vegetarians!

Great location, great team. the breakfast is above average. The utilities are clean. The thermal area in free and really good. The location is a bit far from the center , 15 minutes by foot. Don't have so much parking around, consider that. The Massage here is nice, good lobby , and average wifi. I do not recommend to take duplex tho, too many stairs, and it's frustrating after a day or two.

I liked this hotel very much. The rooms are very clean. They have jacuzzi, pool, massage, gym and more. They are a bit far walking to the gondola, but they provide free shuttles there so it's not a problem. The breakfast was fine. Not Kosher for anyone who minds. They also helped me with booking. I was trying to extend my time in the hotel, so I ordered from booking an extra 5 days. Things didn't work...

Great plac3 ( **** )deserved. Just bulgarian food is not that good. Rooms are great. Wi-fi is working in the rooms but if not, you can ask them to reset the routers and youll be fine. Its far from ski center but you have bus at morning on every hour or less from the hotel.

Nice hotel with average cusine. If it's booked via those sites which offered high discounts, pay attention. Interior is quite old, it has jacuzzi in the pool itself and it's significantly small. The food was average. There were not many things to select. Outside areas of the restaurant are quite insufficient. Definitely it needs renovations.

The hotel is nice and from my understanding it will go through a massive renewal. The manager was amazing. Very friendly, nice and helpful. I am looking forward to come here in the winter as well for winter holidays.

Staff is very nice! Good location. It seems that they put effort to renovate the hotel, so we really tried to sympathise with them. The thing I find annoying is that they promote spa, when 1/3 of it is not really usable. For the other 1/3, it seems as if they don’t want to set it up, if the hotel is not busy with guests.

Very good, My and my brother stayed for one week, and had wonderful vacation. Nikolai the owner of the hotel is a vary nice and the staff will do every effort to help in any request. I We will come back next year!

This is a picture from the pool in Chateau Vaptzarov. The place also has a gym and spa. The food is also good, especially the breakfast where you have a lot of different kinds of food at your disposal. The rooms have LCD TV's with cable and also Wi-Fi. The employees are okay, but not the most kind employees you can find.
