Location is good, a few minutes walk to the gondola. Excellent service, we enjoyed the pool, sauna and massage services. The rooms are nice and clean, but with very thin walls, we could hear the neighbors very clearly

The staff are friendly and helpful. The food here is pretty good and the rooms are nice with a bath and shower, mostly they have verandas. Theres a dude who can do massages, theres a pool, a sauna and a gym

There was plenty to do there; the spa facilities are good, there is a fun games room/arcade, a bar, restaurant and plenty of chilling areas with open fire places. The food provided with the room was excellent

Very good service at a reasonable price. The location is very convenient as you can rent your skis from the hotel and simply walk to the slope which is one minute away and the ski to the gondola station

Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel and apartment were very clean and warm. We used their ski hire shop and found the services good there as well

This hotel is very good and its location is perfect. You cross a pathway through a little forests and you are on the ski slope to the Gondola. The apartment was quite spacious with high comfortable mattress

Everything else was also very good. Clean, warm apartment, beautifully decorated. The pool, sauna and Jacuzzi were very warm, just what I need after skiing

Not that good on the cleaning side. The apartment that we stayed is located in building "D", it is spacious enough for a family with maximum 2 children

The good thing is that it is next to the pool, and the activity park. Also they lets us stay with our dog

A quite nice hotel that definitely needs renovation! The rooms are spacious bit outdated, the mattresses are quite old and the couch is really hard, my daughter woke up in pain

Be careful if you decide to visit it during summer, there is no air conditioning at all in the hotel nor in the rooms. We were on the 6th floor and the rooms were like a sauna

In conclusion:an overpriced 3 star hotel with a few facilities and surroundings from a 4 star hotel!

Really enjoyed our stay for a week, lovely warm hotel, large room, comfortable bed, our room was nice and quiet, staff were very friendly and approachable, good choice of food and drinks for breakfast, superb location for centre of Bansko and Gondala

Would have been nice to have more trips to the spa and unfortunately the places on the bus are limited. Make sure to reserve in advance. For skiing, the hotel has a free shuttle to the gondolas every 30 minutes

Husein that I meet in dinner at dining hall, I have gluten intolerance and I am celiac he help me to find a better food and he order for me gluten free bread and check one by one all dishes!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views! Tastefully decorated apartments and villas. Spa and pool are great - the pool is excellent for children and people who can’t swim as it’s not deep. The jacuzzi has mountain views

There’s a smaller pool for children too. The food is good - some dishes are better than others. The park in Dobrinishte town is a short walk down the hill

The resort was very nice and Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good but the food in the small restaurant was overpriced and not tasty at all. The indoor pool is small and it was overcrowded during our stay.

Great place for vacation! Loved the view to the mountain from the complex! The houses are very cosy and we'll done, however they need some renovation as there were some broken pieces of the future around the house

Clean SPA and warm water in the pools. Food at the restaurant is delicious and has enough options. Swimming clothes and accessories in the Spa area, which is a plus if you come unprepared and/or with a small kid

Everything good except they don’t fix your room when you walk in the room. It’s warm. Everything is unplugged. You have to plug everything. The breakfast is the best will definitely come back.

it is a good choice for transit when going to/from Greece and I will also give it a chance in the winter for a few days on the slopes (it provides shuttle to Bansko cable car)

Still the double bedroom apartment was sizeable and clean. It was weird that none of them staff greeted anyone even though I kept saying good night or good morning

I recently had my wedding at Saint George Palace Aparthotel Bansko, and I couldn't be happier with the experience

The bathroom is nice and the bathtub itself was roomy enough for two people. Plenty of hot water as well which I personally love. The bathroom trashcan hadn't be emptied when we arrived

Unfortunately I cannot give it more than 3 stars. Could be really a very good one, if it would have been better maintained. I hope it is only me, but both bathrooms were not operating properly

They were helpful and polite enough to make our interactions with them pleasant. Language barrier was definitely there but it is what it is I guess

The entire stay costed over 200 euros for two days including breakfast (which is an additional charge) and dinner for a single night. I've stayed in much nicer hotels for fairer prices which is my biggest gripe

Small guest house with basic living room and bathroom and bedroom. No breakfast. No reception. No daily cleaning. And someone was going in the room and turn the heaters all way down daily. Not good…..

Very much enjoyed staying here with a very friendly host and great, affordable food. The place is slightly far from the ski lift but a cheap taxi or 20 min walk will get you there

First ever taste off Bulgarian cuisine. The vegetarian option was spectacular! Bean soup with peppers and tomato source sounds dull but it was not.

Good conditions to stay in, yet it lacks some facilities. The breakfast is pretty lame with untasty food. Coffee sucks.

Rooms were clean, spacious and had a more traditional look (remember, it's not England's version of 3 stars). I liked how the bedrooms were furthest from the corridor so you shouldn't hear other guests

Spa area is pretty standard, does what it needs to do - helped with our aching muscles after a day on the slopes. It is a 10min walk from gondola, and we were carrying all our gear with us

Staff were great, they were friendly and went the extra mile for us when they didn't have to, that's what makes them 5 stars. Food was fine and drinks cheap

The festive dinner for New Year's Eve was also excellent and the DJ created a good atmosphere. We liked the 3 saunas and the small pool also for relaxing. Inside parking was also welcomed

Rooms are basic as expected, however perfectly adequate and clean. Service was great, nice people. Location within town for Gondola access was great. Good value for money, I recommend this hotel.

We visited it mainly for the SPA facilities, which are exceptional. The breakfast and dinner are also good - plenty of delicious food for everyone. The rooms are good size with a large bed, but no air conditioner

Katarino is one of the best SPA hotels available in the country. The location is beautiful with an amazing view over the mountain

The only things that bothered us were the lack of air conditioning (which is going to be fixed soon), the slightly amortised furniture in the rooms and the lack of complimentary coffee in the rooms ( for a 5 star hotel I would expect such a small gesture)

The high quality of service is visible everywhere - welcoming staff, spotless clean facilities, amazing food (most of which locally produced). Pool and SPA areas are very relaxing and well maintained

You can go for a walk in the area or you can visit the Veterans Hut which is around 4 km from the hotel

Best place as base to ski in Bansko. Not in the center but it's better because is very calm. Tried the full body massage and the spa, very good! Breakfast is normal (I'm Italian) but it's standard.

Mosr of the staff spoke good English, and the Bulgarian people were very helpful and always smiling. Definitely recommend this centre

Very good hotel with big rooms, clean, good WiFi, good breakfast but far away from the center of Bansko (about 12 km) and the connection with the shuttle bus wasn’t very often .

The lobby and the lobby bar are not good or at least not on the level for 5-star "boutique" hotel. There was nobody at the lobby bar. They are not offering any cocktails

the bath tub in my room however does need some maintenance for the leak. staff was great, welcoming and always helpful especially at the restaurant. we indeed had dinner there every night

We have been there from 3 to 9 January. Very clean and nice apartment. Very good food and variated food, the swimming pool is big and the water is always warm and good for swimming. The employees were above expectations

They have jacuzzi, pool, massage, gym and more. They are a bit far walking to the gondola, but they provide free shuttles there so it's not a problem. Not Kosher for anyone who minds. They also helped me with booking

I was trying to extend my time in the hotel, so I ordered from booking an extra 5 days. Things didn't work out with the flight. Booking wanted 300£ just to cancel ( it was one hour later)

So they talked to them in the phone and helped me to cancel the cancellation fee. I WILL go to this hotel again next time I visit Bansko

The location is on the outskirts, but Bansko isn't that big and it would take about 20-25 min to get to the centre of the town on foot

Such a nice hotel right next to old town too, the food in the hotel is OK could do with a rethink on combination and level of flavour, but overall really nice place to be.
