Hotel Niky

Excellent hotel. Clean and comfortable, with very friendly service. The attached restaurant is great quality and reasonably priced, with an additional 10% off for guests. Very centrally located and easy to reach on the metro from the airport. Would 100% recommend staying here, and would definitely stay again if visiting Sofia!

Very nice small hotel on the top centre. Rooms are not very big but are comfortable and quiet. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great - among the best we've ever had. We'll be back!

Oh my, what a lovely cosy homely hotel.
The hotel is right off Vitosha blvd which has an excellent vibe with many shops and restaurants. The hotel is also home to a picturesque Greek restaurant. It is a hit or miss in terms of service. I had amazing service and have also been treated rough probably a language barrier.
The hotel though was a breath of fresh air. It gave a homely vibe. Veli and Tsvetan were amazing always attentive, helpful friendly. We were there for 4 nights and these two made our experience fantastic. We will book this hotel again. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

I was quite surprised with this hotel when I arrived in Sofia it didn’t look pretty on the streets. But then when I got inside the hotel it was much nicer than I expected. I think it was just right for a fare price in a good location to shops and restaurants.

We were greated to a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived early for our stay.

Basic but clean rooms, warm with a very hot powerful shower. A little dated but definitely adequate for our needs.

The location was excellent - easy to get to from the metro and within walking distance of the major attractions and places to eat and drink. Despite its central location it was always quiet in the room!

The staff were very friendly.

I would stay again if I was to visit Sofia in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Niky very much.

The staff are friendly and very welcoming. We got a voucher to use in the restaurant but didn't use this or take advantage of the breakfast as there were places we already knew we wanted to go to.

We were on the 4th floor, and there was a lift. The room is very spacious (apartment style). Nice and warm. Has a kettle and a mini bar. The bathroom doors could do with a bit of attention as they seem to be water damaged at the bottom, but that would be my only criticism.

Location wise, this is great - 5 mins from Vitosha Street and everywhere is easy to get to.

Able to leave our bags before heading to the airport.

It is a cozy little hotel right off the famous Vitosha blv. (5 minute walk from Vitosha), and thus within a very convenient distance from many of the attractions one would like to visit. The area is quite and clean.
The staff are amazing. They're always with a smile and always ready to offer help. The rooms are almost spotless and warm (I traveled in winter) with all that you may need for a pleasant stay (nice, clean beddings on comfy beds, minibar, hair dryer, etc.)
It is also really easy to reach from the airport (I got there by metro, and the directions the hotel staff gave me were so accurate).
There is a meyhane-restaurant attached to the hotel, and I was offered a discounted meal there upon my check-in. The menu comes only in Bulgarian tho.
The breakfast is not bad, but very very basic and with limited items.
There is no complimentary bottled water in the room, but they told me the tap water was OK to drink. You can find 2 bottles of water in the minibar tho.
You can also use towels, toilet paper, and soap and shampoo from dispensers in the bathroom.

All in all, I had a very pleasant stay at this property. I do recommend it and when I get back to Sofia, it would be my go-to place.
