Lindner Hotel Am Michel

Nice location in the middle of Hamburg. Every attraction (centre, Reeperbahn, harbour) can be reached in 5-10 minutes walk . Nice rooms and good breakfast. The Hotel-Bar could be better.

Stayed for couple weeks few years back, it was clean, near to city and walking distance to company and clients offices. In evening plenty of busy restaurants nearby for good dinner choices.

A friend and I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in the start of July 2021. The room was of the type “First Class Twin”. What you should be aware of is that there is no door from the bathroom into the room. However, if you are laying on the bed you are not able to watch the person in the bath (this room type). The toilet is separated from the bathroom – and luckily has a door ;-)

My conclusion: I can highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is centrally located in walking distance from St. Pauli (Reeperbahn), Speicherstadt, Portugiesenviertel (lots of restaurants). 300 meters from the hotel you find Großneumarkt where there are also restaurants. Although the hotel is centrally located there is not much noise.

There is a parking garage under the hotel which costs € 25 per night.

The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was great.

I stayed for a week from the 19.09.16 to 23.09.2016 and in the week of 10.10.2016 to 14.10.2016 with you, in your home. If you want to rate the employees in room service, or her colleagues from the reception, and the chefs and the waiters (waitresses) during the early piece so I can award only the best grade. Your Hotel I can really recommend.
Further Plus Points:
-The rooms are daily cleaned.
-The Breakfast, for me it's really, really was very good. Here's what was for everyone
-Great also, the Luggage storage is, if you have to go to work.

Conclusion: Should I find the time and this is very difficult, I will come in private with my girlfriend to you.

Unfortunately I could not test your Spa area.

Good location, but the Hotel is characterised by some shortcomings. Part of old/broken furniture should be replaced. Air conditioning did not work, and in part correctly, and the phone in the room was broken. Otherwise, everything was top. Friendly staff, good food, super Service, and in the higher floor, awake to a beautiful view. Our room was clean and was also well made clean.

The staff is very very friendly. The Hotel makes a very clean and well-kept impression. The room was very clean, the technology (light, air-conditioning, Nespresso machine, kettle, TV, stereo, hair dryer) worked properly. In the room a little Surprise for us (champagne, water and chocolate) and a greeting by the Hotel Manager. This made us very happy (even though we are not champagne drinkers ;-) ).
Room service for Breakfast or meal is offered, it will be charged no Supplement.
The Checkout to 12 noon is very comfortable.
The location of the hotel is very good, in the vicinity are two supermarkets, a Bank and many Restaurants. The Hotel itself is very quiet. The sights are loose easy to reach on foot. To the next U-Bahn stop is about 5 minutes.
The patio door in the room creaked a little, we have reported this in the reception and it was recorded for the note, we got a friendly "Thank you".
So, all the best. Unfortunately, the Breakfast is a bit expensive....

Nice clean modern rooms. The decor is modern and practical.
Beautiful bathroom in the open in the room.
There is great shopping, attractions, Restaurants, and Bars in the vicinity and within walking distance is located close to the Center,.
Friendly and professional staff, and well-organized.

We are hamburger lovers and repeat offenders in the Linder.

10 Min to jetties by Michaelis Park
10 minutes to the Jungfernstieg/town hall
We actually make everything on foot.

Cleanliness:
excellent!

Breakfast:
balanced - my husband would order the omelet people most like home
On Sundays and public holidays, the Breakfast time is extended to 12 o'clock.

Bar:
Very ! friendly staff, great Cocktails and nice ambience.

Review:
This time we had room 609, the rooms on the sixth floor, below a Sauna, and a fitness room.
The noise of the processing plant was noisy - even at night - the one we had but never.
-> Room request on the fifth floor or the like, the reception power anything is possible if rooms are free.

We will come back.

Our 2. Stay at Lindner am Michel was again very good. The staff is very friendly and always has an open ear.
The Breakfast is excellent. During our stay in December we asked the cook to meat salad, which we don't get in the USA, it was made for us. So amazed we were that he was now to be found daily at the Breakfast buffet. Thank you for this.
Furthermore, we had a reception for 13 people followed by dinner in the Restaurant. Here, too, for thanks. It was excellent and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The only thing we bemaengeln want to, we have in December and also in may in the room a katastophalen dryer found. A Hairdryer should have a bit more Power. I needed to foehnen for a very long time to my hair. It should ubedingt be changed. Maybe someone will try the hair dryer of, for example, room 438. Furthermore, it would be nice, though shampoo could be made, since it is traveling in flight is a Problem to transport this.
We are already looking forward to our next stay at Lindner am Michel.
