Hamburg Marriott Hotel

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The location is perfect. I came with my husband and three kids, and the room was spacious enough for all of us—even on a rainy day when we spent some time indoors. The pool was great for in-between activities, though the water was a bit too cold for our liking. The service was fantastic, and we loved everything about our stay! Oh- the waffles were to die for.

Very nice stay! Central location. Fitness room and swimming pool were very good! Breakfast was excellent. Only service room needs improvement a the service was constantly busy.

Absolutely fabulous experience, from Laura on the front desk checking me in and being incredibly accommodating throughout my stay, to Emma checking me out and being equally as fantastic, everything went right and there was nothing the hotel did not do to help and accomodate.

The bar staff, particularly the wonderful Charlotte, Alberto and Evan were so attentive and just all round wonderful. Even going so far as to triple check if each menu item was suitable for me to eat.

I really appreciated all the care and attention of everyone at the hotel, thank you so much and I will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a week and had a very lovely time. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to many attractions, restaurants and cafes.

I really want to give a shout out to the service here, everyone I spoke to was helpful and accommodating, even anticipatory of common requests, we feel it's our duty as Americans to consume as much ice as possible and asked for it enough that they just started bringing it up with other requests.

In particular, Kim, who brought up our evening requests and room service dinners was delightful and very helpful with recommendations and very pleasant to work with. The breakfast staff was also wonderful.

Very nice hotel in Hamburg's downtown. I have stayed here a couple of times with no problem. Excellent personnel, room clean and all working as expected. The hotel is within walking distance to the subway and also the main train station. With a 20-30 minute walk, one can also get to the river.

I'm staying in a Deluxe Room. The room is fantastic, more space than anyone will require. The bed is comfy and it has a big tv screen. The bathroom was very clean.

The hotel itself has a lovely bar area, the breakfast is 5 stars and it has a decent pool.

My gripes with this particular hotel is that I've just had to collar house keeping as they have skipped my room 2 days in a row now. I don't need much, just clean towels and clean mugs. The second issue is they hosted a Hand Ball teams event, and some of those from that party had a literal rave in the room opposite until gone 1am on a weekday. For a 'leader in luxury hospitality' this one is far from it.

My experience may be an anomaly, however it doesn't diminish what I witnessed.

I'm returning next week for another work trip and I shall update if things improve from my perspective.

So yes, it was an anomaly from last weeks visit. My room has been cleaned daily and there has been no parties from across the hallway. I'm changing the service from a 3 star to a 5 star, also changing my overall score from 3 to 5 as well.
