Fairly basic, the clue is in the name, but brand new and clean as a hospital. Very limited breakfast, and had to ask for an iron at the reception. Also reception often not staffed, but very comfy beds, very good shower. Great for the money

I reserved room. I was get confirmation of reservation. When I arrived at 21:00 receptionist informed me that my reservation was canceled.
IT means that reservation don't mąkę you sure that you have room for the night. I was lived without room for the night.

For a budget hotel, theres literally nothing more you could want. The rooms are clean and have plenty of power ports all over the room.
The only negatives for the rooms are the beds aren't that comfortable and things outside can be a bit loud. But considering it is direct next to the Reeperbahn I cant blame them.
Apart from the room, the staff are very kind and helpful. Check-in was simple and so was check-out. I never felt like I was a burdening them at any point.
Even the morning breakfast though simple, but really better than most Ibis budget experiences I've had in the past for sure.

The price/benefit balance is bad.
+ Good location
+ Provides affordable parking for guests
- The room is tiny and does not get enough air because the window is not fully opened.
- There is no wardrobe to hang our clothes, only a small hanger. Also, there are no drawers.
- Beds are small and uncomfortable.
- The shower opens directly into the room and its door does not close completely. That's why the room gets wet while taking a shower.
- The toilet light was not on and the sink was not inside the toilet.
- There was a smell of dampness in the corridor.
- The price/benefit balance is bad.
- I will not choose Ibis Budget for any of my future stays.

A family of three visiting a friend in Hamburg. For our budget this hotel was great. Good location, ease to walk into old town and to tube stations. Our room was on the first floor looking out to a green communal garden. It was quiet, clean and fit for purpose. Staff were friendly and great places to eat very close by.

It is what it is. The bed was comfortable and the pillows no worse than usual for Germany.
Coming from the UK, the water pressure in the compact shower was excellent.
The room was quiet, the aircon worked and the windows also opened.
The staff were friendly and happy to supply towels and pillows upon request. Not a 5 star experience, but it was as expected.

Strange smell in the floor und the rooms need to be renovated! The service and the location of the hotel are top!!

Small rooms and super tight bathroom. No water neither coffee machine in the room. The TV remote wasn’t working. Elevators were slow and outdated.
Super cheap bed, mattress and pillows.
No water bottle available to buy at the reception. The staff were ok but except one gentleman, the girls were so rude and unprofessional. No smile and not even looking at you while you were talking.
This is not even close to a 3 stars hotel let alone 4.
