The front desk is so unhelpful. First, I called three times before my arrival trying to change my checkout date. They said that they needed to check with the manager then call me back, but they NEVER did!
Then there was no free water in the room. For the price that they charged, it is ridiculous.
Then I left laundry in the room on the first day, but the room service didn't take it.
Last but no least, when I checked out, they charged me 5 days of breakfast instead of 3 days that I actually ate. It took them 30 minutes to correct it. The whole process nobody apologized! Nobody offered me some water or a seat!
If this is not the worst, they forgot to give me my invoice as well.
I will never recommend my company or anyone I know to book here anymore.

TREATED HORRIBLY BY HOTEL CLERK - XAVIER MARTINEZ. This person should not be working in hospitality

I recently booked a one night stay for my partner and I, and booked a deluxe junior suite through Priceline and even contacted the hotel to pay extra for a room on a higher floor to make our last evening of our trip a bit more enjoyable.

There seemed to be some sort of mix up as after check in we arrived at our assigned room to find they had given a us a really small, cramped basic room. I contacted the front desk and came downstairs to sort out the confusion and was called over by Xavier Martinez who was immediately on the defensive and started treating me like I was trying to get something for free.

He argued with me, was extremely rude, and read my emailed correspondence with the hotel out loud to the entire lobby to try to prove some sort of point. The email was just to arrange a room on the higher floor. After I showed him proof of my original booking he followed up by saying there was nothing he could do and I would have to sort it out on my own after my stay to get a refund. I explained it wasn’t about a refund or about money, it was about the experience of our stay at this hotel at the end of our trip.

I asked him, even if there was anything he could do to help make our stay a to be bit more comfortable, would he have done it? He was thrown back by this and said there was nothing he could do.

This hotel does not care about hospitality or making sure guests are comfortable.

I WOULD GREATLY ADVISE EVERYONE TO LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS FOR YOUR STAY.

Looks like that they are not looking into cleanliness nor maintenance. 1st room 522 the glass door to the show was blocked on the 2nd room 417 the floor heating thermostat was randomly connecting / disconnecting. The cup and spoon visibly dirty.....

Barceló Hamburg refuse me because i had 65 hr valid negative covid test and not 48 hr valid test. They collected full amount from my card and gave a reason No show up. I was at check and refused. On there website they request 72hr valid covid test. Watchout people, JUST DONT GO THERE

The first important thing is the staff behavior which in our case not only was not friendly at all, but also rude! We waisted the whole evening in the hotel lobby discussing about parking slot. They just suggested some public parking which is obviously accessible for everyone and didn’t work for us! The staff didn’t help the whole time to find a solution! They just said it is what it is!!! We booked the room through Booking.com and we asked them to help once the hotel didn’t collaborate. And again staff didn’t collaborate with Booking.com as well. Once we decided to cancel our booking, out of no where at 23:20 there was a spot available in the parking!!! Strange!!
The 1 star is just for the room cleanliness. For a 4 star hotel it can be improved! For example, the room lacks slippers, coffee machine. The pillow cases are clean but certainly old.
I don’t recommend this hotel as they don’t take care of their customers and staff are really rude!!
