The location was great. There was a metro line next to the hotel, and you appear in the city center in 5-6 minutes.
The service was good, the receiptionists were very kind and aupportive. Room service was also good. However, the beds were not very comfortable.
The breakfast was good, but not excellent.

Great location and friendly staff. Walking distance to many famous sites. Rooms to trainside are a bit noisy. Tube station next to the hotel.

Globally this stay was good but not perfect for the following reason . We faced A huge queue for the checkout (40 minutes) due to a lot of guests coming already in the morning for check-in. A solution would have been to dedicate a desk for check out and the second for check-in

I’m not sure why the cost so incredibly high for the two nights I stayed but for a hotel of this level it was definitely not worth the nearly $800 (AUD).

Firstly the room. It was like a hospital ward - only what you absolutely could need so it could be easily cleaned.

The free minibar. It had two drinks in it - I think one was a juice and the other sparkling water. I was so thirsty when I arrived that I had the water and was surprised/disappointed to find it did not get replenished.

I ended up buying water from Reception for €4.20. Ridiculous!

Despite the incredible cost I did not have a room overlooking the water….i don’t even know what I looked onto….some kind of wasteland with graffiti.

The location seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. The immediate are didn’t feel overly safe.

Wifi worked well and a lovely team member offered to book me a taxi for my very early start this morning. Other team members were efficient but not overly friendly.

I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great hotel and staff. Great location. U-Bahn direct at hotel. Outside eating and drinking possibilities with view over the Harbour

Our family (two parents and two adult children) stayed in this hotel for four nights at the end of June. We had room 321 on the third floor. The room was reasonably big and more than sufficient space for 4 persons. The hotel stated that the room has air conditioning and we tried to use it during the first night (as it was rather hot on the previous day). However, even on the maximum setting the room was too hot. We tried some boost setting, but it was turning itself off after a couple of hours. We probably should have referred this problem to the hotel’s staff, but we just ended up opening the window for the remainder of our stay. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was of a reasonable size with good water pressure. We have requested good cleaning (due to asthma and dust allergy) and it was done as requested. There is a parking garage under the hotel, but it works on the first come / first served basis (extra charge). We were able to find parking space on all of our nights and during the weekdays there was a wide selection of spaces. The hotel has excellent access to public transport as the metro stop is located just next to the entrance. (In Hamburg, a daily group public transportation ticket is an excellent value for 4-5 adults). We have not tried the restaurant in the hotel (except for breakfast, which was excellent). However, there is a large shopping center and many restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Modern hotel on the edge of Hafencity, an area which has been reclaimed from disused parts of the port of Hamburg. We chose it because it is reasonably close to the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, I.e. about half an hour's walk. It is also easy to reach by car and right next to an underground stop, which links it directly to the very centre of Hamburg, and about 15 minutes walk from the massive, newly opened Westfield shopping centre. That said, the immediate vicinity of the hotel is a bit barren. We spent two evenings in the hotel bar, because there was nothing else around within staggering distance. The service was very friendly and efficient, both in the bar and at reception. A final point to mention is that the hotel is notably child friendly and provides tricycles, prams and children's activities in the reception area.

We stayed there with our small kids. I can only repeat what had already been said before: - Super-ineffecient check-in process. They give you an iPad to enter all necessary information. Unfortunately, there are guests which are not that familiar working with such gadget and need time to complete the questionnaire (which is quite exhaustive). As a result, it took me almost 30 minutes (!) until I had my keys, even though I had pre-completed the check-in questionnaire at home. I do not want to blame the staff at the check-in counter for this but hotel management seems to be super-dumb that they set-up such process and are not aware that they should immediately change it. This was by far the longest check-in process I ever had in my life and I've been to quite a lot of hotels during the last 50 years ..... - Elevators sometimes not working which is unfortunate as there are only 2 elevators but many floors in the building. However, I had sometimes the impression that hotel management had closed one of the elevators on purpose. - Breakfast room too small on busy days, esp. between 8 - 10 o'clock. However, they opened on a few days an adjacent meeting room with additional tables. I do not understand why restaurant management allows reservations on such days and the people are then only showing up at 9 o'clock whilst the table is blocked for more than 1 hour. - Forget the hotel restaurant. We wanted to order pasta at one of the evenings but they had already ran out of pasta. Unbelievable! I've never seen before a restaurant running out of pasta! Furthermore, I asked the waiter for the invoice but he forgot it. The personnel in the restaurant does not seem to be very qualified. - Strange aircon/cooling system in the room which was not working properly. - Good location and underground train station just outside of the building. The harbour is easily accessible by bus and the new Westfield shopping mall is within walking distance. - Kids can play in a small indoor room or outside on the wooden boat. However, it is not a children's hotel with childcare or the like.

This hotel is not safe! There is a 24 hours reception, but only 1 person available whole night. Last night the alarm went of at 4am in night. Older people had to run out of their rooms and the was no protocol to handle this or where to go. Some went into thenstreet and some in an internal part of the outside hotel. Some older people had even oxigine and could not move quick. Seemed it was false alarm, but some people got stuck at the internal part and this while the door was locked. Own employees could not help. What if there was a real fire? Afterwards there was no excuse or explanation. This hotel is NOT safe!

The bedroom smelt of drains and customer service non existent! Did complain but to no satisfaction . Also overpaid on a room which was sold same week for 200 euros less. Did advise but again customer services doesn’t exist! Won’t stay again! Had to sleep with balcony door open
