The hotel concept is unique.
No phones, no closets .. anything you need, you need to visit reception, even if you need water.
It’s good for quick stay, one or two nights.
What I didn’t like about the hotel is the management response to customers complaints. Even if you the hotel is a 3 star hotel but it is under Marriott Bonvoy Brand and this means they have to maintain a certain level of quality in the hotel.

Spent two nights here on a football weekend with HSV - Schalke 04! Easy access and plenty of parking in parking garage.
Nice relaxed vibe and good drinks in the lounge area. Breakfast is fine and the rooms are as they should be. Good sleep quality.
Easy access to Hamborg from Berliner Tor S and U-ban station 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Do not stay at this hotel. The location is terrible, as the nearby public transport station ("Berliner Tor") is under construction and barely accesible. The construction is also blocking all roads around the hotel, making traffic terrible.
Service in the hotel is also very bad and not nearly up to Moxy or Marriott standard. I tried to book a room as a walk-in guest and the member of staff had no clue how to set up a booking, despite having multiple rooms available. He called a colleague over WhatsApp to explain the check-in proccess, only for both of them to realize after 40 min. of trying that they did not have the necessary access rights from the management to add a booking. The guest behind afterwards had an existing reservation and also faced problems being checked-in. Badly managed hotel, I feel sorry for the staff there.
All this coming from an experience travel (Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status), there are far better Marriott options in Hamburg, try the Courtyard for example, around the corner, much better service and very well connected by car, train and to the airport.

The room smelled like sewage and the vent in the bathroom did not work. It got incrementally worse so we had to change rooms. Housekeeping knocked loudly at 8 am continuously for a long while despite telling them to come back. They left and then came back again at 10 and just walked in without knocking. Expensive parking for a motorcycle. The gym was ok except two bicycles only one worked and no treadmill but a decent set of dumbbells.

A quirky, trendy hotel, with a fun vibe. The hotel is situated relatively close to public transit via the Berliner Tor station (accessible via both the U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines). The surrounding area is quiet - there are a few parks in the area suitable for a morning walk, and good access to food/drink via the cafes in the area or in the St. Georg neighborhood, a short 15-20 minute walk from the hotel
However, as of the time of writing this review, due to construction in the station area, you will need to take a pedestrian overpass or a long detour around the construction area in order to get to the hotel. The overpass is a wooden construction w/ stairs, but no elevator/escalator that I could easily find, so bear this in mind if you're traveling with a lot of luggage.
The hotel itself was easy to find, and had a very open dining/social area on the ground floor. A bit confusingly, the reception was at the bar counter, which resulted in some delay as there only seemed to be one person checking people in and taking food/drink orders.
The room itself was small and no thrills, but was clean, comfortable, and had everything you'd need.
Overall, this was a decent hotel for its atmosphere and price, definitely worth looking into for a quieter stay while still having access to the rest of the city via public transportation.

No frills but everything you need including easy access to public transportation. Cute lobby area with lots of seating space and a well stocked bar. Happily accommodated my late check out request (thank you!) & free lockers available to store luggage.

The staff mainly were very nice and cheerful, except for one guy with long hair who was very unnecessary rude and trying to offend us when ever we ask something.
I booked this hotel on hurry and with no deep search , and I should have 🫤
The rooms are so small even the superior room , no fridge in all rooms
No room service !
You need to go down to lobby to ask for anything ( ice for drinks, toilt paper, dinner and bring it up yourself, then bring down back once you’re done)
The walls are very thin and you can hear all sort of movement from inside the room
I will recommend you to find another hotel

Comfortable and clean.The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and speak good English. The rooms are spacious, though there is little storage for clothes. It is fairly close to the city centre and very close to public transport. There is a good buffet breakfast. Recommended.

Since the minute I checked in I felt so welcomed. It was my second stay at that hotel. I was well met and well recognized. Then the person who checked me in kept me company at the bar too. These guys who work here are just amazing. I think this hotel is great because of them. Especially Alex. And also his colleague Andrew Aaron.
