Policies and conditions
- Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
- Private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed) and costs EUR 10 per day.
- WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.
- Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 12 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
Children from 13 years old to 17 years old stay for € 30 per person per night when using an existing bed.
Children up to and including 12 years old stay for € 20 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Children from 13 years old to 17 years old stay for € 30 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

Bathroom is very small, and in the shower there are some mould spots. Also the smell is like vinegar in the bathroom.
The biggest problem was the noise from the radiator. Seems the radiator venting wasn't success, and van hear every 5 minutes a water floating. Very annoying and disturbing.
No solution in the reception, the hotel was fully bookedn, room swap wasn't an option. Never ever be the guest here.
This is a message to those who lived or wanted to live here (especially for long time).
We rented an apartment from 03.2020 to 06. 2021 in GS Hotel Mindelheim.
1. TAX avoidance or TAX evasion? Only a 3-month contract offered!
The contact lady who offered us a renting contract refused to offer a long-term renting contract, but a 3-month contract. She explained she did so only for tax benefits for the hotel.
On the other side, this unreasonable contract could not protect tenants.
2. THE CONTRACT
(1) We signed the contract for an apartment on the 3rd floor for a good view. In fact, 2 days before we moved in, we were told the signed apartment was rented out. Only one on the 2nd floor would be free for us. Others were rented out.
(2) In contract, a monthly cleaning service would be provided without any extra fee, because this is a long-term "hotel" apartment. In fact, NO! No service was provided on their own. Only once by our query. They said if you wanted more, then 40 EURO once!
3. Trap! 1600 EURO guarantee deposit, not 1 cent back
We told the hotel our leaving time 1 month earlier according to the contract. 10 days before our leaving, we made an appointment with the responsible person to ask her some cleaning issues. She DIDN't appear. Fine, we cleaned the apartment at our best.
We left on 26.06 (Sat.), we called the responsible person to come to check the apartment. She agreed on the phone and said she came at 17. We waited until 17:30.She DIDN't appear. We called her again, and she said she had left and told us to leave the key at the reception, and she would check the apartment on Monday. We did and left.
We called her on 28. 06 (Mon.) if she had checked and if everything was fine. She said NOT Yet.
We called her on 29. 06 (Tue.) if she did, she said NOT Yet.
We called her on 30. 06 (Wed) if she did, she said to ask her colleague in Munich.
We called the colleague in Munich, this colleague said there were some problems about the apartment, but still asked for our bank account info.
We waited until 21.07, no more info from the hotel. This time the colleague in Munich said there were so many problems in the apartment, the mirror was broken, the floor on the bathroom was defect...they had to repair them all and couldn't rent in the repairing time. Of course this was a lie.
Before we left, one colleague of the hotel brought 2 young men who had intention to rend the apartment for a TOUR in our apartment, directly and rudely into our room without taking off their shoes.
Apparently, the hotel didn't find out the next tenants after we left. So use our deposit to pay for the empty room.
So, 1600 euro deposit, not 1 cent back!
This is a "trick", they did not appear on time to check the apartment because they knew you were in hurry and had no more time to wait for them as long as they did not appear. As long as you left, you lost. Haha.
4. No Invoice.
2 months and 10 days after we left. No bill or invoice of the 1600 Euro sent to us in any form.
Writing in the last. The life in Mindelheim was wonderful and I loved this beautiful city. Some colleagues in GS hotel were nice. I am disappointed about the issues I wrote above. I hope this message can help others not to be trapped.

There is no air connections in the rooms
No Porter to carry our bags to the room
The bed we choice king bed but it's a twin bed ! Every time we have to push our beds together not comfy at all
The breakfast not that good eggs are too salty
Juice is not fresh
