Great stay but there was construction so had to move ard it to the get to the station

Hotel is located about 200-300 meter straight line distance, which is about 10-15 mins walking distance from the Munich main train station. Will be convenient for travelers arriving in Munich by train. However, there are at least one ***** club /night club nearby and there seem to be many central Asia immigrants around the area, so may not be convenient for single person or those with family.
The bedroom and bathroom are pretty old and of average size by Asian standard. Housekeeping is only done if you hang the "Tidy Room" sign on the door. Breakfast and service are average at best.
The tourist attractions around the Marienplatz area (St John church, City Hall, Frauenkirche etc) are about 20 - 25 minutes walking distance away. The Residenz museum is a further 10 mins walk from Marienplatz.
Overall, just an average hotel and probably only worth it considering the proximity to the train station and the less expensive room rate. May want to explore other hotels nearby or nearer to the old town area.

The location is extremely close to the city centre, however, it’s in the red light district. Though I found Schiller5 a nice and clean hotel, good breakfast (simple but good enough). All the drinks in the fridge are free of charge, and the receptionist are all friendly and being nice and helpful.
The only thing I don’t like is the mattress, whenever I toss and turn, the mattress squeaks, and it certainly bothers me.
Overall, this hotel is good.

The hotel itself was very nice. (Very) warm rooms, comfortable layout, good beds, and great breakfast! The staff we encountered were all warm and hospitable. The location was convenient since it's near the train station, but highly doubt we would want to stay in that area next time we visit (even though we have nothing bad to say about the hotel). It felt dirty and just kind of gloomy. ***** *****, ******** halls, etc. felt like the main attractions of the area, and at night it was kind of a depressing area. The hotel isn't exactly in the middle of this necessarily, but only tens of meters away from it.
With that being said, it's a 5-7 minute walk from the central train station, and probably 10-12 minutes to Marienplatz. Very convenient. If you don't care about what's in the direct vicinity, I would highly recommend!

This hotel was able to accommodate three adult women comfortably in one room. We were invited to make use of the lounge as an extension to our room and did every day. The buffet breakfast food and service are outstanding. The hotel has good soundproof windows so we weren’t disturbed by construction that was occurring right outside the restaurant.
The location is great but do want to note I rated the location 4 vs 5 as the area to one side of the hotel has gambling spots and signs for exotic dancers. Despite this we never felt unsafe. It’s an easy walk to the Marienplatz and many Christmas markets and even closer to the first stop of the Hop on off bus and starting point for other bus tours. It’s less than a ten minute walk to the main train station. Happy hour 6-7pm in the lounge is a pleasant way to unwind with a free drink and to meet other travellers. The minibar in our room was restocked with a nice variety of beverages. All three of us really had a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

The location was great, within a couple of minutes of Hauptbahnhof, so wherever you are going, this can easily be a starting point.
Karlsplatz is only a 5 minute walk, and it is a straight walk (15-20 minutes) to Marienplatz.
The hotel is hidden and accessed via its own driveway, which isn't a bad thing, and there is currently lots of construction on the road in front of it.
Hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly, breakfast we felt was expensive (€19 each), and a bit limited. Beds were great, pillow were rubbish.

Excellent location. Walkable distance to Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz.

Everything about my experience here has made me happy! The rooms are clean and cozy, the staff are absolutely elite, and the breakfast is one of the nicest spreads I’ve ever seen! I especially appreciate the staff helping me and allowing me to practice my German, and for all their helpful tips and suggestions for and how to get around the area. In particular I’d like to thank Olya for recommending me the Münchner Stubn that was seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever had and that was all thanks to her having the patience to help me through my broken German, and still suggest something that wasn’t only relevant to what I asked but exceeded my expectations! 5 stars all around and so grateful this is the hotel I’m staying at!

Some quirks like blinds that don't go all the way, mattresses that are too soft and pillows too hard.
